New to the area and really craving some sushi! This place didn't have many recent reviews, but still decided to give it a try.. We had the dumplings, spicy crab roll, green dragon roll, and drunken noodle with a few cocktails. The cocktails were okay, the dumplings were a little different than what we are use to (seemed like a meatball covered in the wonton wrap), but still very tasty! Our sushi was 10/10!! Highly recommend!! If you're an avocado lover get the green dragon roll. The only reason we rated a 4/5, the drunken noodle was okay. Noodles texture was off and flavor could have been a bit more bold and spicier. Overall I highly recommend this place, and will probably be my new go to for sushi spot! read more

I order from here all the time, Dine in AND take out. Tonight I picked up for my husband and i. When i walk in, nobody greeted or acknowledged me. Then when i did get acknowledged the black women hostess was extremely rude and gave dirty looks the whole time like she was annoyed people were coming in... I went to the bathroom while waiting on my food and over heard someone else complaining about the same person. as i said, i order from here all the time. i've met many people especially a lot of new people recently the last few months. You'd think with all these new people who have all been respectful even the young boys who work there, they'd get rid of this women. it's not the first time i've had terrible encounters with this women! I decided it's about time to leave a review about her so maybe she will get a talking to and come to work with a better attitude. Im more than a little picky here. Good heat, goof flavor, solid. My issue is i expected more noodles in my pad se ewe. There was a ton of chicken and vegetables, but few noodles, which were cut into less than children size bites. Other than that, extremely nice people, good taste, lots of food!!! On July 10th we were seated for lunch at 12:45 I'm placed our order a few minutes later. At 1:20 there was still no sign of our food and we asked the waitress when it might arrive. I struggled with the rating, because I have had two meals here and both were so different. First the bad. The pad thai. I have had a lot of pad thai in my life. When I first go to a new Thai restaurant, this is what I order. The pad thai here was so sweet and off-putting. They also gave me a lime, which is traditional, but it was warm. I know they were keeping my meal warm since I ordered for pick-up but the lime is supposed to be fresh. It was not. The noodles were good. They were cooked correctly and had the right amount of peanut. However I would advise against ordered this dish. The good. There was plenty more good than bad. First up- red curry! Good portion size, good veggies (variety and texture), and the right level of spice. When in doubt, order this. Also the thai tea here is quite good. Some places make the mistake of making it very sweet. It IS supposed to be sweet, but not the way their pad thai was (ha-ha.) Finally, the ambiance. The decor, lighting and seating is nice. Ladies can be comfortable wearing jeans and a blouse, or a dress. The service was average, which is good and what I expect. Would come here again. read more

I've been here quite a few times, I'm not sure why I never reviewed it. Recently, though, I had an experience that I wanted to share, that's when I noticed that I didn't have a review of a great local spot! We get take out from here more often than dine in. Such is the life of a parent in a large family. I've only eaten on site 2 or 3 times, but we've gotten take out at least 4 or 5 times. The "Drunken Noodles" are a favorite and all of the sushi is very good. I have had some green curry there also that is fantastic. The best thing though, is just the salad. I know it's silly, but the house ginger dressing is amazing. Most recently, the website glitched as I was ordering and I wound up placing an order for 18 entrees! Not what we needed, so I immediately called and let them know. We picked up the order and the food was great. Later, though, I noticed that our debit card had been charged for $230 by the third party payment system. I called the store the next day and explained. I knew that getting a refund would be tough because I wasn't actually billed by Jasmine, but rather their company. Well, I got a call the very next day from the General Manager and he had gotten it straightened out! I was super impressed with the personal service. Thanks Jasmine! read more

Management please train your Hostess! We stood there waiting for 5 minutes while she walked around doing paper work and talking to cooks. Finally, walked back to us and said can I help you. The guy I was with owned a resturant in LA and said that was a total fail. But, our waitress was very good and really made sure we were taken care of. Maybe she had to pick up slack from the hostess. The food was good too. The hostess gets zero stars but the waitress gets 5 stars. We will try here again. read more

Well I thought I would try again and extremely dissatisfied. Two stars are only for the salmon sushi roll I got which is hard to screw up. I have been eating here since day one, spending alot of money here over the years. Today, June 24th 2020, I waited 20 minutes to be called (which is fine). When I got seated, I was offered the a bar seat, (which was also fine), but after I got seated I over heard couples sitting on both sides to me complaining their orders had not been taken. I immediately noticed the three waitress's in the bar area weren't really being too proactive and getting the job done, just basically dragging their ass. This is an awesome restaurant, always has been, but I would think because things have been at a standstill that the employees would be motivated and step up there customer service and help. Some days I would give them absolutely five stars, others maybe just one so I decided to settle somewhere in the middle and try to sum up all of my visits here. The food is really good, and they have a diverse menu, but the service is where they lack at times. Some days you will get your food very quickly--I'm talking 10 minutes. But other visits I've had to wait up to 35, at a time they weren't busy (note that our table ordered an appetizer and a fried rice only, something that should've been super quick). The food is great, but often times the peas in the fried rice will be undercooked and even cold. I'll continue to visit here with my friends but as of recent I've been disappointed in how much they've slacked off. read more

I've been a patron of Jasmine's for several years. While the food has never blown me away or turned me off, my most recent experience there will be my last. I came for a Birthday party for my wife and her twin sister. The service was extremely mediocre (bordering on terrible) in that it took at least 20 minutes to receive my first drink. In fact, my brother in law that got there 10 minutes after me received his before me. Additionally, attentiveness was not our waitresses's strong suit. She was behind on refills and additional drinks for a majority of the time. I would have had two or three more drinks if she had been more engaged in being our server, therefore the business lost money and I lost happiness. One bad experience with a waitress doesn't force my hand in writing a bad review, but when the food is terrible and the manager handles things the wrong way alongside bad service, that's when I a warning shot must be fired for other potential patrons. I ordered the Roasted Duck Curry (one of the most expensive things on the menu). The meal came out at a decent time, but was completely devoid of rice or other substance to keep the meal from being soupy. It was, in fact, some vegetables, fruit, and duck thrown into soup with no rice. I asked about rice at least twice, never received it, and was forced to eat my "curry" like soup. Granted, the flavor was ok, but curry is not supposed to be liquid. After I made my dissatisfaction known, the manager came over and told us that the meal would be removed from our check. Great, I thought. However, he meant only the rice. So he took a whopping 2 dollars off the 17 dollar dish - unacceptable. Service was bad, food was bad, and the manager being bad in his decision making give this place a 1 star review and one which I will avoid in the future. It's unfortunate; Paducah doesn't have a ton of great food. It doesn't take much for a place to be among the best in the city. However, Jasmine Thai Cuisine and Suishi Bar is not there and may even be among the worst. read more

This is the second time I had this issue just grad broccoli and bean curd at some chinese take out or a bean burrito from taco bell. I've been going to this Jasmine location for many years and have an amazing experience every time. Yesterday my cousin and I went for a lunch date. I ordered the lunch chicken Thai basil with fried rice. This is one of my favorite dishes at Jasmine. It's so rich and the basil is a perfect set off for the dish! My cousin ordered her favorite, the spicy crab roll. I've had this roll before and it is delicious-- spicy but not overwhelming at all. Our server was super sweet and attentive. The restaurant was clean and has a very cool and modern atmosphere. I would highly recommend Jasmine to any locals or folks passing through. My other favorite dishes are: the Pad Thai, Red Curry, The Sunset roll, the Philadelphia roll, and the Roll Roll combo. Also, you can't go wrong with any appetizer, they're all amazing. The Crab Rangoon and lettuce wraps are my personal favorites! I hope to keep returning to the Paducah Jasmine for years to come! read more

I haven't had a chance to eat their food, as everytime I order nobody has any idea what is safe for someone with gluten allergies. The last time I tried was 5 years ago, and after being told nothing was safe I walked out. I decided that since it's been so long maybe they would have their act together. Wrong. They had a list of items that should be gluten free but after the waitress, hostess, and kitchen staff all gave VERY conflicting answers I didn't feel like it was safe to eat there and walked out yet again. Thai food is one of the best options for people with gluten allergies, even cooks who have English as a second or third language know what is safe for me to eat. Having lots of family and friends in Paducah, I had heard a lot of people talking about Jasmine. I went in with high hopes and left disappointed. It's not that the food or the service was "bad". It's that everything about the place felt lazy. I ordered spring rolls, a crunchy shrimp roll and the basil fried rice with shrimp. All very standard and easy meals. I was expecting these standard Amero-Asian dishes to have a unique flare or possibly some spicy flavor that left me craving more. I didn't get any of that. From the laminated spiral-bound menus to the food with no flavor, I might as well have been at Shoney's. I also noticed that when I got my phone out to read other reviews on Yelp, the waitress became distant. Perhaps she saw me with Yelp and knew the future review and no longer wanted to be an ambassador to the establishment. Jasmine, you could be great. You have a great location and a good audience.
