Went to this place for dinner because I saw reviews saying the best Thai tea ever. It sure did not disappoint, I'd argue it was the best Thai tea I've ever had. The food was also amazing, best Thai food ever. Staff was extremely friendly and on our way out even the people in the kitchen said good bye. Restaurant was very clean and well kept. Love this Thai restaurant...Thai food is my favorite but for some reason a lot of Thai restaurants have chosen to add more sugar to their dishes. The food was blend for me. I ordered pineapple fried rice but it came with without any spice. They provided me hit sauce on the side which didn't add flavor to my food. Their price was reasonable and customer service was good. Everyone was welcoming. Thai tea size was really good for large size. It would be more than enough but the taste was okay. read more

This is my second time eating here. Service was good as always. I ordered Fried rice with crabs and yellow curry with shrimps. The yellow curry was ok (a little too sour I think), the fried rice was good. We wanted the sticky rice & mango but it was out of season. So we got fried ice-cream and coconut ice-cream & fried bananas for dessert, and they were excellent! It was the best coconut ice-cream I have ever eaten and I loved the fried bananas too. Delicious food very fresh and the owner is very nice and friendly. I ordered the Thai curry soup she asked how spicy I liked it. I said level 6 but she suggested level 3 because it was my first time there. I was happy with her suggestion because it was the perfect amount of spice. It's a nice place very clean. My favorite dish I get here is the garlic and pepper pork. It is flavorful and has a strong taste of garlic. I love getting it but if you order it to go they don't give you a ton of the sauce that goes on top of the dish. Their Thai tea tastes authentic and they give you a large amount. They made the actual Thai tea instead of just buying it premade and serving it. The pad thai is ok but it isn't the best. read more

I absolutely love the food here. I usually take it to go but on occasion dine in. Unfortunately the last time I was there to pick up food I noticed the soup container had changed to a much smaller one. A $14 soup had drastically changed to its much bigger container weeks prior, so I was a bit taken back on that. Jasmine Thai has a very fresh taste in all of their dishes. We ordered pad thai, drunken noodle, chicken satay, panang curry, and thai tea. Those fresh flavors, however, only speak to the quality of ingredients they use. The dishes themselves don't quite come together for the great Thai food experience we all crave and love. I don't know if this comes from inferior cooking technique or failure to strike the perfect balance of flavors, but each dish that we ordered did not have that marriage in flavor. Sometimes it's fun to taste food and be able to pick out what went into the dish because each flavor stands out on its own so well; unfortunately I don't want that in my Thai food. In Thai food I look for the marriage of flavors that combine in such a way to form an integrated, unique taste that is more than the sum of its parts. At Jasmine Thai, you just get that sum. Luckily that sum is composed of, again, high quality ingredients, so yeah the food still tastes good. I don't want to be too hard on this restaurant though. Out of the numerous Thai restaurants I've been to, I can count on one hand the number of Thai restaurants that I think create that integrated taste I'm looking for. Out of the restaurants that fail to create that super special taste, Jasmine Thai is amongst the best. You won't get a bad meal here, period. The interior of the restaurant looks like your typical dated Asian reataurant. They do open karaoke on a weekly basis, so that setup is just kind of sitting in the middle of the restaurant. We were driving up north from Orange County and needed dinner. This is a Great mom and pop restaurant that we found on Yelp. One of the Owners came to our table and introduced himself. He seemed to be genuinely interested if we liked their food and shared with us about their training in Thailand and USA Thai kitchens. The portions were on the big size. We ordered a shrimp tempura appetizer and as a bonus they also sent out tempura fresh string beans. They were perfectly fried and not greasy. For our main course, we shared a Panang chicken curry and a beef noodle dish (pad mei kee?) where you can order how spicy you want it on a scale of 1 - 10. 4 was perfect for our palates, 5 was very hot! Having lived in East Hollywood near a ton of Thai restaurants I have to say this is still one of my favs in SoCal. I tried the Pineapple Curry with Chicken and my girlfriend got the Chicken Pad Thai. Also got the veggie egg rolls and loved them - I eat the egg rolls everywhere I go, but these were juuuuust right! Also I must say that the people that were working here were extraordinarily nice. We pulled off the highway to eat/fuel and you guys were the first place to catch our eye. So glad we found your place! Everything was fresh, and made to order. Quite flavorful food and friendly service. Prices were quite decent with good sized portions. The red curry was creamy and right proportion of spicy. Lots of veggies and some meat. WOW!!! Have you read the reviews???? The way the owner responds to her clients.. Specially the one where she replies to a woman name Magaly.. The owner is quite rude, and I don't think she should be passing her cost to the clients, so she can buy masks etc... to your employees, and please DO NOT CHARGE THEM!!! It's your responsibility as "the owner" to supply them with what ever they need to keep safe and healthy.. Any way.. yeah.. I was looking for a new place to try in Palmdale or near by city, even though I don't live around there, however I just had to write this post, because I can believe the abuse of this owner.. It's pretty bad. That's really sad :( Sometimes it doesn't matter if your food is good, the customer service etiquette is just as important, please try it..
