This has definitely become my new favorite seafood spot in Springfield. 3rd time going and the bartender is always amazing and makes the drinks to perfection. Seafood boils are 10/10 especially the seasoning! My friend and I agreed it's one of the best we've ever tried !! Definitely will be back!

Located across from the mall next to pure hockey. Originally was TGIFridays. I sat at the bar to order takeout and grab a drink while I wait. The wait time on the food was honestly less than 10 minutes! I ordered a seafood basket and combo a seafood boil. RJ was the bartender on duty. He's a really chill guy, and easy to talk to. I ordered the basket which included fried oysters, shrimp, and tilapia. I've had fried oysters in the past from other restaurants, but the ones from this restaurant weren't really what I expected. Overwhelming ocean water taste and just pretty salty in general. The sauces do help though with the saltiness. Maybe that's how it's suppose to be, I don't know, but not a fan. Everything else was super good! The seafood boil was absolutely delicious. I just wish they could of made it spicier! The ambiance was pretty nice. No loud music but enough to hear what's playing. (It wasn't busy, so maybe the music would not been louder on a busier shift?) Overall good experience, just not a fan of the seafood basket. Definitely going to give it a try and dine in!

All you can eat crabs for $35 and $1 oysters! What more can you ask for. I am so glad that there is a legitimate crab house located in the beltway that offers top tier crabs that are very meaty. The seafood boil was plentiful and Jason's honey garlic special sauce was so tasty that I was event dipping my crabmeat in it. I have officially become a fan and I'll definitely be back.

Ceviche's got some kick and flavored butter we're pretty spot on! The place looked a bit sketch from the outside but the food was great! A bit pricey and the corn was frozen previously... but other than that it's not bad

YES!!!! The food is too good and the prices are too fair for this place not to be a hit. When I saw the green sauce with the Red Snapper I knew it was going to be RIGHT! The music selection playing was on point and the restaurant was meticulously clean. They have very good happy hour specials and Karaoke Friday and Saturday nights. I will definitely return with friends. You don't have to go to DC for a night out. This place is a good time waiting to happen. Plenty of free parking onsite.

Food good service a bit slow, but staff kind and accommodating. RJ at the bar was great.

So my sister friend and I have been wanting to try this place for a while. We finally made it. First we arrived and checked and had reservations. The hostess act like she didn't want to seat us because we were early. Then they tried to seat us by the door. We said no. The restaurant was not even that crowded. We were seated at a tackle further in the restaurant. We sat there for at least almost 10 minutes before somebody came to our table and asked if anybody has been to help us. We said no. Then 1 lady came and then another lady came and brought us water. We ordered drinks. And appetizer. The whiskey sour was good. Could use more bourbon. We were ready to order. I had my mouth set on blue crabs. Our waitress said they didn't have any as it's seasonal. As seasonal was spelled wrong in the menu. And they offer all you can eat crabs on Tuesday. Now I'm under the impression that you don't have any more because of that. But dint tell me it's out of season. I created my broil. When we got to the sauce I asked about the Jason sauce. It's a mixture of oil she said. So I said give me garlic and lemon butter. I should have e said something else. When the broil arrived it was a bag of oil with all this pieces of garlic in it. No flavor. No taste. I had to add old bay to it. It did t help much. The Dungeness crab legs were okay. It tasted very bland. More flavor was needed. It was missing a lot. The decor was cute with Mother's Day theme. The restaurant is spacious. They do karaoke on Friday night with a DJ. The bar is spacious. Don't think I will be back. Checked off bucket list. Jason Crabhouse y'all have work to do....

The best crabs in Northern Virginia has arrived folks. They are meaty, slightly sweet, not too salty and served with melted butter. The all you can eat crab deal is astounding. We also enjoyed the fried seafood basket with huge crunchy shrimp and oysters. My suggestion is order smaller amounts of crabs so they stay hot. Great end of summer meal while watching the Penn State game drinking beer.

    Rotten Crayfish

This review is solely about the food, since I did carry out. The food was meh. Not a lot of sauce in the boil, and I was given a crawfish that may have been rotten. This establishment does not care about consumer safety if that is the case. I will not be coming back here, as I am never in the mood for spoiled food.

Wow wow wow !!! some of the best seafood I've had outside of New Orleans! RJ , the bartender , was an excellent mixologist and server! We'll definitely go back again when I'm in town!!

    Jumbo crab
    Grace P.

So glad Springfield finally has a crab house! The jumbo blue crab was fresh, meaty, and absolutely delicious - $100 per dozen. It was quiet on Saturday night, but I hope more people discover it soon because this spot deserves to be busier. I'll definitely be back for the all-you-can-eat crab! Service was excellent - quick and friendly. The atmosphere was clean with a spacious bar area, and parking was easy.

This placed is shut down with chains on the door. I just ate here 2 weeks ago and the food was good.

    Karina M.

All you can eat crabs for $35? Enough said! This is the best deal in the area. Mind you, the deal is only Monday to Wednesday but it's definitely worth it! I spend nearly $100 elsewhere for a dozen crabs so this is a steal. The seafood boil is also wonderful. The sauce is so yummy! I enjoyed the Chefs Ceviche, Jason's Shrimp Tango, and the Jason's Fried Shrimp. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. Check out the daily happy hour specials. I truly believe this is a hidden gem that needs to be discovered by more people! It's in the old TGIF location near Springfield mall, so it's hard to see. If your friends don't like seafood? Not to worry - non seafood options are available for your friends. Definitely check it out!

The standout, though, was our server, Gabi. His service was spectacular--prompt, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful without ever feeling overbearing. He checked in at exactly the right moments, kept everything moving at a perfect pace, and somehow made the whole experience feel both polished and personal. What impressed us most was his special attention to details, whether it was guiding us through the menu, ensuring our drinks and timing were on point, or noticing the little things that elevate a meal from good to memorable. For drinks, I went with the margarita flight, and it did not disappoint. So... this was an interesting experience in customer service!…read more I used the FANZO sports bar finder website (fanzo.com) to determine that a pay-per-view boxing event was "confirmed" (per the website) to be showing at Dave & Buster's Springfield this past Saturday afternoon. I called the location ahead of time that Saturday and spoke to a D&B employee, who confirmed that the bar would be showing the boxing event. I drove 20+ minutes to the location and, after waiting at the bar for a while, I was told that, after checking with the manager, Dave & Buster's would NOT be showing the event--even though it had been listed as "confirmed" on the sports bar finder website and despite D&B staff confirming it over the phone less than an hour earlier. On my way out the door, I noticed a poster advertising another boxing event (Errol Spence vs. Tim Tszyu) that Dave & Buster's planned to show later that night. I didn't see the event confirmed anywhere online so, when I got back home, I again called Dave & Buster's to confirm that they'd at least be showing the boxing event that night, given the poster advertising the event near the front entrance. They quickly confirmed that yes, the event would be showing. So a couple of hours later, I again drove 20+ minutes back to Dave & Buster's Springfield to watch the event and patronize the venue. Upon arrival, one of the first things I noticed was that the poster I'd seen near the front door just a few hours earlier had been removed. I asked a D&B front desk employee about the event, and she sheepishly replied that the venue had "planned" on airing the event but was unable to do so (for some unexplained reason). So that was two sporting events advertised as airing that same day that ultimately weren't shown. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me, I guess! Later that night, I emailed Dave & Buster's Guest Relations (corporate) to explain what had happened and express my frustration with the experience. To my surprise, they responded promptly the next day (on a Sunday!), apologized, and credited me with Dave & Buster's gaming chips as a gesture of goodwill. (I did have to pay a little out of pocket to purchase the Power Card needed for Guest Relations to transfer the gaming chips, but I nonetheless very much appreciated the goodwill gesture.) So I'd definitely rate the initial experience at the location a 1, but I'd rate D&B Guest Relations' prompt response and gesture of goodwill a 4 or 5. So they get a 3 overall from me (higher than their current Yelp average). I'll say that my experiences at this venue prior to this past weekend have generally been good. I just don't think I'll feel comfortable relying on this location for pay-per-view sporting events anytime soon, and, given the experience I had here, I'd warn others to independently verify any pay-per-view event before making the trip, even if Dave & Buster's staff confirms it over the phone.
