If there is any uncertainty, it would be more appropriate for staff to verify with a manager rather than provide an unsure response. As someone who works in a customer-facing role, I understand the importance of clear and helpful communication when addressing guest questions. We like going here but there's always something off. My soup wasn't hot, hate soup that's not hot. I had the salad bar which is always fresh. Hub got the turkey muffuletta & spicy gumbo. This deli is pristine! The staff are welcoming and professional and the place is so clean. I wish I wasn't so hungry upon arrival because their salad station was definitely something I would've went for. However I got Rueben the Great and it was perfect! It comes with house chips which were the best chips I ever eaten (deli-wise). I got water to drink and the lemons were packaged separately by the condiment and utensil station, like how hygienic! Here's my two cents on the quality the size and the price of the food. We will start off with the good sandwich. I ordered a Reuben sandwich with mustard and black pepper. They fail to add my mustard or black pepper or even included with the sandwich. The Ruben is on A marble rye with what they claim to be a half pound of meat. ( see photo).. they charge me $15 for the Reuben sandwich plus an additional $2.50 for potato salad. Aside from them not giving me my mustard and black pepper it was a fairly good sandwich but at that price just too much to pay. Also as you know fat equals flavor and they did not have enough fat to give enough flavor The other sandwich I order was called a Camela..It was on a sourdough bread with pepperoni ham & salami... Plus it had something of a relish. And it costs 13 a dollars. But I must say the relish on it was the nastiest I ever had I took a bite or two as you can see in the photograph and I could not eat it again I had to throw it away and give it to the birds... I guess my biggest issue was how expensive they were and not following my simple directions. I don't think any time in the future I will be going back & ordering at this place because of the being over price. Plus for $2.50 the size of the potato salad and the size of a pasta salad was just too small. read more

Food is great, as usual, BUT - tried to support the "local" store and delivery drivers by ordering delivery directly instead of through a delivery app..7$ delivery charge!?!!! 2.5 times what is charged by Grubhub or Doordash! You HAVE to be kidding! So after tipping the store employed delivery driver 20% and CLEARLY stating in my delivery instructions that I wanted my food dropped off at my door and for them to TEXT me when it was dropped off, the driver called from my door. Cool, no problem. I said, thank you, you can leave it. He was beside himself, insisting that I come to the door and get it, tip him, take the food in person... We recently held a fundraising event at Jason's Deli. We were very excited to have such a great. turn out.! The staff was friendly, very efficient in getting the food out quickly to guests, and despite the sheer volume of people, kept the restaurant Immaculate! I went here tonight with my family. The staff was very nice and accommodating. My son-in-law got some tortilla chips with his sandwich & was hoping for potato chips. I went up to the counter and spoke with a nice guy, David. I said I would pay for some potato chips to swap them out. He said no, I'll be happy to give you some and he did! I also asked for ketchup & he pointed to the opposite end of where we were standing & said, "you can get some down there" and then said "Wait, let me just get it for you". Very friendly, helpful staff member! Very much appreciated. It's definitely a casual atmosphere where you seat yourself, can sit outside if you want and go up to the counter when your order is done. But they have plenty of staff to talk with should you have a question or help. Just an FYI...their Chicken Pot Pie soup is Awesome!! I spent $30 on lunch today, to order Jason's deli. Their minimum is 25, then $5 delivery fee and then tip. I did it because I really wanted Jason's deli. I regret it however I ordered so many items and in the end only 2 met my reasonable expectations. The turkey sandwich I usually love was made in a rush, the turkey was what seemed to be shredded, the bread was stale. This is usually what hits the spot for me but not this time. The salad: limp, even the croutons were a tad chewy Fruit salad: this was good, albeit overpriced but it was fresh Strawberry shortcake: this was also good Cookie: came in fragments and was pretty mediocre Cole slaw: regret ordering it, wasn't bad just not great I also ordered a bottle of water (just trying to meet minimum) and a ginger ale (which is good) I ended up disappointed and, incredibly still hungry. I thought that the $30 splurge ($35 counting the $5 tip I left the driver) would be justified by the good deli-fresh food I'd receive but that didn't happen. Food is good as always but was surprised they changed the salad bar to one trip only and did not post it at the buffet. Having no knowledge I only got a small portion.. so the end story here is for me and my wife received two small salads that cost 26 bucks. This is the second Jason's Deli I've been to. I absolutely love them. Both stores have been clean with super helpful staff. I particularly like Jason's Deli because of the extensive salad bar. The two of us order the half a sandwich and one visit to salad bar. He eats the sandwich and I eat the salad. My husband and I had not been to Jason's Deli in awhile so we went for dinner. Wow! Has this establishment gone downhill! We ordered soup and the salad bar. My husband's beef stew was literally slammed on the tray with beef stew everywhere that looked very unappetizing. My cup of Maine Lobster soup was cold.
