I used to enjoy subs from this place. The Last one i had today will be the last. I got a spicy meatball sub. It was the worst sub I ever had, I couldn't eat but two bits and had to throught it out. So much sauce on bread it completely fell apart over cooked under burn, cheese was???? Stay away from this place..has gone down hill real fast. read more

The service was slow it was backed up they kept on skipping and losing, getting the orders incorrect and the 3 guys behind the counter looked like they didn't know what they were doing until the manager walked in. I would not recommend fire house at this location if these 3 are working, they need some proper training I waited 40 minutes to get my food, the manager was all nice helpful. read more

Normally I don't frequent franchise fast food. On numerous occasions I have visited this firehouse subs. Out of the handful of chain sub shops in the area this is the one I always return to. The bread is not full of air like one of the competition. Air in the bread leads to the sandwich getting soggy if you don't eat it soon. The sandwich is made with care and is easy to eat without it being sloppy. I have tried a few of their sandwiches and always enjoyed them. The staff is friendly and the shop always appears clean and neat. If you're looking for a tasty quick meal this shop is work a visit. read more

Kudos to the staff and management at the Firehouse Subs (Ft Myers, College Parkway). I went in for lunch yesterday and they were experiencing a HUGE lunch rush (in person and online orders) with a limited staff. They did everything they could to make sandwiches quickly and serve their customers. People were not being friendly or patient at all and although they were faced with the angry people and their negative comments, the staff stayed diligent and kept working hard to serve everyone as fast as they could. Claudia at the front counter was amazing. Through everything, she kept smiling and taking care of customers. Nick, the manager, did his best to keep the kitchen running, apologize repeatedly to customers and take care of anyone who was checking on their order, demanding a refund, etc. it was not an ideal situation but considering everything, I think they did the best they could with what they were working with. After recently surviving Hurricane Ian, being able to sit in A/C and have a delicious lunch was still a treat! So, thank you for that Firehouse Subs. i will be back again soon. read more

Visited here today and had a great experience. The two young workers there were very sweet and pleasant! Refreshing! The spicy chicken is very spicy, and the pastrami Reuben was very good but watch out it's spicy, not just tangy! I think it was the coleslaw. Yum Yum. read more

Just having a rude and stubborn store manager William, my request was very simple to remove the pastrami from the daily sub of corned beef and pastrami, he said it will be not a daily sub deal because we are removing the pastrami, i asked just give me the daily sub and remove 1 item from it, he said again no , its gonna be just corned beef sandwich if i remove the pastrami !!!!! The staff here is absolutely wonderful. They make this sub chain feel like a local mom and pop spot. Their hospitality is so warm and they're so polite and caring toward customers. When I was sitting in here eating my sub, I watched an elderly woman spill her soup onto herself and the floor. The manager stopped what she was doing and went over there to ask if she was okay and insisted that she would clean it up and not to worry. You don't see much of that these days, especially in a fast food chain restaurant. It brought a smile to my face and gave me a little faith. This place is great. read more

Went here for my dads birthday expecting to get a free sub as we do every year. He received a reminder email stating that his birthday sub was "all qued up and ready to use. Just enter your phone number at the register when you check out to receive the discount OR order with the firehouse subs app".... when we told the cashier that today was his birthday we were instantly meet with rude remarks from staff who claimed that we have to get the app if we wanted a free sub. My dad then proceeded to tell him that he didn't need the app last year for his birthday reward and even showed him the email he received that said all you need to do is enter your phone number. The employee then continued to insist that my dad and the email were wrong and that we needed to download the app. Instead of dining at my once favorite sub shop for my dads special day, we went across the street to IHOP where we enjoyed a fantastic lunch and free dessert (no app needed and no backtalk from staff) I will not be dining at this firehouse again. I visited Fire House subs on 41 and College for the first time. First of all let me say that the sub was very good. But I was a little disappointed when it came out as a deflated version of its advertised picture on the ordering wall. I don't like it when the product looks little like its advertisement. I had the NY steamer. Even with the upgrade to large- it just seemed medium at best. It was flavorful and warm but left me wanting more- and for $10, I was expecting better. I do like the fact that this place has one of those computerized drink machines offering many combinations of several varieties of soft drinks. Wow don't waste your time here if there is less than FOUR people on the line and one on the register. We stood in front of the cashier for well over 5 minutes without him saying one freaking word to us! He was taking an uber order which is completely acceptable, BUT ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR COSTUMERS IN FRONT OF YOU. With a simple I will be right with you i'm sorry I have a large mobile order! There was management team member ob the line and the GENERAL MANAGER. So I walked up to the general manager and asked sir are you the manager he nodded half ass and I asked again yes? Even though his tag said so. I asked if there was a reason your cashier has not acknowledged us he had a half ass smirk on his face and said my cashier is working on a uber order, I said I understand that very politely, but he hasn't said a single word to us. He sort of cut his eyes at me and said we are working on subs right now like I completely inconvenienced him. My brother in law proceeded to say "man he hasn't even acknowledged us though, he didn't even look up" and the manager also got short and sharp with him. So then he hollers over to his cashier to stop what he is doing and help these people in once again a not so friendly, and never once apologized for being busy, maybe my southern hospitality expects too much of people or something, but come on really the general manager you would think that wasn't a lot to ask for. So we sat our chips down and walked out, there was about 5-6 people total in the restaurant and apparently one large mobile/uber order... but remember two managers on the line. Ok, I am a regular at Subway. But I have to say that my experience at Firehoise Subs was excellent! You can certainly pick & choose ingredients, but their standard subs are great with unique flavors. The two stars is not for the food! The food is AWESOME!!! The two stars is for the service....my family and I went there tonight to eat and we spent about $40 on food. We didn't finish our subs and I asked for a box. They told me I couldn't have a box I had to have a bag n paper.
