Yes, I had to do it. This Jason's has earned the dreaded 1 star. I've visited a few timed since this location opened, of course allowing for the kinks of a new restaurant to be worked out. There have been some missteps (i.e. inconsistent food quality, speed of service, etc.) which is understandable, but my experience tonight will probably be the last. I came through the drive thru and actually received my order in a reasonable amount of time. Apparently, I threw a wrench in their system when I asked for some crackers. I was left stranded at the window for a good 5 minutes while the line continued to pile up behind me. I finally just said forget about it, but I did call the manager to let him know what happened. Then here's the odd thing, he offered to comp my bill (that's cool) but when I gave him my check number he said he couldn't find it in the system and said "well, I'll take care of it" and hung up. Huh? I guess so. I didn't even care about the bill. I just wanted him to know about the wait so he could educate his staff. *Sigh* I just don't think the Jason's menu is conducive to the drive thru concept. And this location could probably benefit from some additional training for the youngins working there. Just keep that in mind if you dare to give them a try. read more

I would offer a 5 star, but the music was too loud. I love Jason's Deli. I have one item I ever order: the salad bar, all you can eat salad. Majorly yummy. This is just like any other Jason's salad bar, clean and offering all manner of good items. I also *highly* recommend you try their Black Currant Tea. It is so delicious. Just sublime in every way. I realize this isn't much of a review, but if you like a good modern clean well thought out healthy salad bar, this is your place to go. read more

You have no idea how excited I was upon discovering a Jason's Deli was finally hitting my side of town! It's a place I usually only get to enjoy when we order catering for meetings at work since the closest location is about 20 mins from where I live. Luckily I finally got a chance to check it out and it, of course, definitely didn't disappoint. The location has a drive-thru, so that's definitely a plus. There are separate doors for the regular entrance and to-go, which can be a bit confusing because they're both on the same side of the building but it doesn't matter all that much because all the registers are in the same area. It was pretty packed but they took my order quickly and all the employees were very nice. They also seem to communicate well because it was easy to hear all their back and forth about orders and whatnot while waiting for my food. When I was sitting at my table, there were multiple times an employee passed by and asked if I needed anything else. Very attentive and nice staff. One thing you'll wanna for sure do is grab one of the menus sitting in various places because the one up on the wall for everyone to see is very, very condensed and only has a small selection of what they actually offer. So if you're looking for something you're 99% sure they have but don't see it up on the wall, chances are you aren't wrong, order it anyway or check the full menu. Depending on what you order you'll slide on down the line, be directed to the salad bar or be given a number to put on your table so your food can be delivered. I ordered one of the baked potatoes and honestly had to do a double-take once it got the table. The thing was huge. Way more than I'd been expecting. Not sure if this how big they are at every location or just this one because I've always gotten the Manager's special (soup and sandwich) when I've gotten Jason's Deli before. Either way, it was absolutely delicious. Next time I'll probably make sure there's someone to split it with though lol. In addition to the baked potato I also got a chocolate chip cookie for dessert. Cookies are one of the many options they have if you've got a sweet tooth. I ordered the Salmon Salad for lunch and it was not my favorite. If you're craving salad, you'll be better off with the salad bar opposed to the menu selection. I've been a fan of Jason's deli for months. I drive approximately 15 minutes to the nearest location which is this restaurant. Every time I come I get the same thing and that is a salad from the salad bar. I haven't always been a big salad fan but the options on this bar are so plentiful and the ranch is out of this world. My daughter's favorite thing are the pickles. I love to mix the different assortment of greens with cucumber, tomatoes, olives, bacon bits, and a variation of cheeses. You can get whole boiled eggs and you make your own salad. The price is unbeatable at under $10! Now tell me where can you get a value like that. I share my sslad with my 2 children and yes I can close the top down. The customer service is just as great as the salads. The employees are always friendly and the store is always clean. I have no complaints. I highly recommend this Jason's deli location. read more

This place is an example of "trust your gut!" Trying to concentrate in the office was a no go, so I decided to head out closer to home, and make a restaurant my office space to complete some administrative work. I had spent a total of 20 hours at Panera Bread the days prior to this in order to finish finals, I wanted a change of pace. Jason's sounded good, as you can't beat a great baked potato. I have probably been to this Jason's 5 or 6 times. As an undergraduate student I recalled that this was a great place to go between classes, as they have a TV in the corner by the door, and the temperature is comfortable, not to warm, not too cold, despite the windows. When I walked in there was a pretty significant line. It was 11:45, so that was expected. The staff was hustling, but other than the cashier, they appeared annoyed by the customers. I got to the cashier and ordered my old faithful. At the end of the transaction I asked about wifi. She said, "No, not at all. Sorry." I made a light hearted joke and walked away. I am a pretty optimiatic guy. I decided to make the best of it. I looked for a table with a plug, to do the non internet stuff. As I searched, not one plug was visible. I recalled that I had snagged a plug at a high top table by the door, but when I went over I saw the space, and there was a cover screwed in over the plug! Now, Panera is right down the street. You can literally see Wich Wich from the window. Both of which have plugs, and wifi. Hell, even just about all of the bars in Arlington have wifi and plugs. Too bad I was "on the clock" or I would have found one. I get it. Jason's isn't those places. When you are so close to a college and a business hub, it only makes sense to offer these. Everything about this place screams "savings over the customers" including staff randomly policing the salad bar. I didn't order it, but witnessed it. Sadly, the food is simply mediocre. Jason's Deli's costumer service is at an all time low. There seems to be a huge amount of indifference: Take or leave it attitude. Just place an order (worth approximately 22 dollars) and had to debate the cashier and the store manager over extra crackers. He agreed to give, a faithful frequent costumer, two packages. Even after I agreed to pay for extra crackers, I was denied. In short, I'm tired of fighting about crackers. No more Jason's for this cracker-less costumer. read more

Worst experience ever. NOW they charge you full price for the salad bar even though you are only allowed one trip bc of covid. Like why don't they just give you a clean plate like before. Man there row No difference whether it's a one trip or two as long as you use a clean plate! They just trying to make more money off of people. The food is good. However my order has been wrong on at least three different occasions. It does not make sense for me to drive 20 minutes to get the avocado that was left off my salad. I've been eating at Jason's Deli for over 30 years - since they were just in Beaumont/Port Arthur. This location is one of the best. It's very clean, the staff is very friendly and the food gets out to you very quickly. The manager John is a guy who wants to make you happy. He's the bend-over-backwards type. Worst Jason's Deli I've ever been to. The staff here has no clue of teamwork and basically down right do not care. I placed an online order and paid through the app 20 mins before arriving only to find out they never started it because they didn't "confirm the order". So I walked in and spoke to a manager just to make sure we are all good on the order/payment, who said to me "no worries the kitchen has already started the order and will be out soon". Over 35 mins later I finally gave up and left. Out of the last 4 out pf 5 visits to various DFW locations, they have all been a nightmare, this why I have decided to leave a review finally. I've never been disappointed with Jason's Deli. My all time favorite is the chicken salad on a croissant. This location seemed very busy at times but the service was very good. It didn't matter who you were dealing with they were very pleasant and all smiles. Someone came by out table twice to see if we needed anything. We went to Jason's deli at 12:48 on a Sunday. We bought salad bar. Most salad ingredients needed to be refilled. When I asked for a second plate I was told the salad bar was one time only. I told the manager that was fine unless they were out of everything. I didn't spend $25 on 2 drinks and 2 salad bars to walk away hungry. It was also filthy around the salad bar with food that customers had dropped on the bar and the floor. The manager did begrud give me another plate for salad but evidently that is going to be discontinued Jason's used to be a great Texas business. Ordered through the Drive-thru. There were cars ahead of me but it moved quickly. Greeted immediately by attendant to take my order and welcomed any questions. I waited no time to get my food. What is going on? I went through drive-thru Friday, Sept. 21 around 1 p.m. I later park outside job to eat Cal. Sandwich. On second bite, I felt tiny rock like pieces in my mouth. I pull out 2 tooth-looking fragments covered in avocado. I call and speak with manager. He tells me to send pictures via store email. It's typically busy all the time so don't expect fast service or everything to be filled on the salad bar. Come with expectations that people are going let their 8 year old kid that just scratched his butt to fill his in plate from the salad bar and you will do fine. *heavy sigh* Ok where do I start? So, I decided late in the evening that i wanted a Club Royale sandwich..no tomatoes, no honey mustard , extra bacon . This is how I order the sandwich every time . When I get there..It's late. It's about 7-8 minutes before closing.. but they're still open. I go to place my order and the drive thru employee asks if that's all. I repeated again my sandwich order in detail.. waiting on her to repeat back to make sure it's correct because this very location has in the past, made my sandwich incorrectly. I pull up...and she has the bold audacity to say they are out of bacon and that a matter of fact, they threw EVERYTHING out because they're about to close. (?????) What the actual ____ is that? I asked to speak to the manager. I asked his name. He gave the name John . He apologized and told me that they will be making everything fresh for me. He also offered a beverage of my choice and to top it off refunded me for the sandwich . I appreciated John going above and beyond to make sure that i was taken care of but whoever that was at the window..he needs to write up and it needs to be a LONG while before she is able to greet ANYONE at that establishment.
