This was just an awful experience first off for a chicken Alfredo and baked potato with two desserts came out to 78$ with tip but to add insult to injury everything was terrible Alfredo tasted like eating paper absolutely no flavor and the layed three nasty axx chicken tenders across the top for 8$ extra then the potato was overcooked and flavorless as well with all the toppings then the chocolate mousse was horrendous no taste at all it's like they have a problem with salt and sugar I'm so upset that I was overcharged for this shxt I should've just got a sandwich since it's a deli

Thank you to Angelica for her help with questions about the menu. Great selection and reminder to enjoy the dessert! It did not disappoint! Thank you!

Lots of space with a modern deli setup. You order as you walk in and they bring it to your table. There's also a salad bar. Prices are reasonable. My eyes ended up settling on the chicken salad sandwich and seafood gumbo. The food was on my table in the few minutes I went to the bathroom. The chips that came with the sandwich look to be plain ruffles which is a nice touch and makes the combos addicting (I'm also tired of all of the terrible homemade chips that plague the city.) A very simple chicken salad recipe that is surprisingly good. They even toast the bread which you almost never see for chicken or tuna salad sandwiches. The bits of pineapple give a nice sweetness to it without the need to add a bunch of sugar.  The seafood gumbo you can tell they didn't bother heating up. The lukewarm soup was filled with gelatinous chunks. There is a scoop of cilantro rice in the middle to give contrast. Bits of shrimp and sausage float about, but not enough protein for my liking. There's a decent kick to it in every spoonful yet it feels like it's missing something. Overall, I would say I'm a fan of the place. It's hard to find places that do chicken or tuna salad justice and not just push bland disappointment to the masses.

So much food to choose from and all we ordered tastes really good. The service was fast and staff was very nice. Very nice place, very spacious !

I got the new yorker - 3/4 lb of pastrami and corner beef. Comes with chips. The meat was all the same in the sandwich so I'm not sure if I just got pastrami (or corned beef). Quality was as expected of a chain but not bad. Bread was soft and lightly crispy. For quantity and quality, price was acceptable. Staff were nice. I would come back again.

Straight forward sandwich shop. Had a nice salad bar and soups as well. Sandwich was pretty good. Wish it had more meat on it. Location is nice plenty of seating. You get free chips with sandwich as well.

One of my go-to lunch spots for years now. I love their many combos. Everything tastes good, from the soups to the free ice cream. The restaurant is always clean because the staff is constantly checking on the cleanliness of the place. Fresh food daily.

I had only been to the Loop location, so this was a first visit. The space is large with a cavernous rectangle of tables and seating, you order as you enter and they bring it to the table. For the relatively low number of people it took about twice as long as expected to get the meal, but they are probably stretched thin like everyone else. The quality was good with a nice Club sandwich on a flaky croissant and BBQ chips, just the right size, refillable fountain drinks with a lot of choices. Nice bonus: you can get a soft serve small regular cone chocolate or vanilla or swirl ice cream as a free dessert! Covid precautions followed.

Great lunch/breakfast spot with fast service and simple/fresh sandwiches…read more The oven roasted turkey sandwich was great, tasted like something my grandma would make me (in a good way). Will be back.

I really want to like them so much more than I do. If there were a continuum from hipster deli…read more(think Mile End) to traditional deli (Manny's, 2nd Avenue, etc) Schneider would on the hipster side of center. Two of us shared a half pound pastrami on rye with a side of hash browns. The rye was pretty decent but the pastrami was sliced far too thick and the meat was lean. That is not a good thing when it comes to pastrami and I attribute the lean meat to the deli catering to its hipster-ish audience. Although the flavor was decent, the sandwich was dry and difficult to eat. We disagreed on the generously sized pickle. One of us thought the flavor was just right, the other not so much. We both agreed on the hash browns. It's a no-go. They were well fried but entirely unseasoned. I understand the lack of schmaltz but there was no onion or salt or anything else. Waffle House has nothing to worry about. (IYKYK) Service was fast and polite. The space is tiny, but it works. Prices are okay for this area but if you want traditional deli in Chicago, go to Manny's.

We were quoted a time of 20 minutes out. We arrived a little early and the gal at the counter told us it would be a few minutes. She called out when ready and sat at one of the tables in the front to eat. Each sub had a decent amount of filling. While we each offered the smallest subs, we were plenty full when we left. We enjoyed our subs and now have a place to add to our list for a new quick lunch. For the store itself, they have some odds and ends but many Italian staples. The counter and deli had a steady flow of customers in and out.

As I parked this large Chevy Suburban parked in front of me. As I sat in the car & saw one person after another unloaded & head towards Potbelly. In all I counted 8 guys unloading from this Suburban. & head to Potbelly. I'm like oh hell no. That's when I saw CONTE DI SAVOIA @ 1438 W Taylor Street on the north side of Taylor Street. I decided to cross over & check out this old world Italian Deli. Conti Di Savoia is small Italian grocery store w/an Italian deli that has w/outstanding & inexpensive sandwiches. When I went in there was a line of people waiting @ the deli counter waiting to place their order. I must have looked confused because the owner directed me & told the line started on the other side towards the back of the store. What I found was an awesome of fresh handmade sandwiches for a very reasonable price. I ordered an 8" pastrami w/mozzarella cheese, shredded lettuce, tomato, red onions, mayo, & Italian oil drizzled. What I got was an awesome inexpensive sandwich loaded with/fresh ingredients. Absolutely delicious. After I got my sandwich the owner (I introduced myself (I think his name was Mike) rang up the sandwich. He said they have been there for 35 years. There's also a small dining area in the front of the store where I sat & devoured my sandwich. Like I said this is small Italian store w/a nice selection of products like meats, cheeses, pastas, wine, olive & deli items. I throughly enjoyed finding Conte Di Savoia. The pastrami sandwich was awesome w/a generous portion of pastrami & toppings for a reasonable price. I'm the type of person who who loves finding new places to eat. Most times unless I find great food & reasonable prices I won't go back but I feel like I found a real gem W/Conti Di Savoia. I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK AGAIN.

It came as a great recommendation! We didn't have it for a while since we live the low-carb life but were thrilled to learn they do a "sub in a tub". I love their tuna salad/sub. Their bread is soft, back when I could eat it. They don't overfill it with mayo either and add some mild peppers or hot on request. I like that they don't have onions at the deli so it doesn't overpower everything else. My husband typically loves the club. They rolled a generous amount into a container and I used scissors to quickly and easily cut it. It was a perfect lunch and I have enough for another tomorrow! For $8, or $11 for a generous tuna scoop, you can't beat it. Staff is also quick and friendly at the deli, as well as checkout.
