Absolutely will never use for catering again! Requested no ham b/c of dietary restrictions for a major company in the area, Order was incorrect Ham on over 3 platters. Was told that they would resend an order out only to get a rude representative that went back and forth with me and was upset b/c they had remade something under their own assumption. Also was asked to give the Ham sandwiches back, which I complied but totally didn't understand why they would want something that has already been exposed and picked over on the tray back! read more

First time here today, and they gave me completely wrong order. I ordered a pastrami sandwich to go, instead I got a some kind of turkey sandwich. I was the only person in line and ordered to go while I was there. I'm not sure how they can mix something up like this but it was very disappointing. By the time I got home it was too late and too far to go back. If I ever come back to this location, I'll have to check my order thoroughly before I leave. read more

It was a good sandwich, I just felt like it could have been better somehow. Top marks for using a bunch of organic ingredients. Also, they put guac and pico on their veggie sandwiches which sounds like it could be bad (not the guac obviously, that's good on anything) but it's actually quite tasty. read more

This is a great place, especially for kids. The Mac and cheese is good and is enough for two kids to share. I love the Zucchini Grillini with ranch dressing for dipping. Since this is a vegetarian dish you can replace the chips with certain soups at no extra charge. The free ice cream is nice for kids. read more

I wanted to try for lunch after hearing all the rave reviews but I was seriously disappointed. Went with two other people (who raved about Jason's when they went to Florida) but here, it was "meh" for all of us. Both sandwiches were underwhelming for the size and the price. These are pretty high prices for a deli and if you get the salad bar with it, watch out. I couldn't justify the extra $$ so I just got the sandwich. One companion got the salad bar only and she enjoyed it but also said it wasn't as fresh or as stocked as the Jason's they'd been to out of state. Maybe this place was having an off day, but for the price, I won't be trying it again to see. read more

This one of my favorite delis. I discount deli's that give me a few small slices of corned beef. Jason's is the most generous deli outside of NYC. Their menu selection is extensive. Our favorite sandwich is the New York Yankee. It has about 3/4lb of pastrami and corned beef on rye and we get the spicy mustard. We split the sandwich and large serving of chips and order a cup of their broccoli cheese soup. Mmmmmm good! Occasionally we order the salad bar instead of soup. The choices are many and they have ginger bread mini muffins. The salad bar is very popular so the vegetables are fresh because the turnover happens quickly. There is a free self serve soft ice milk (they refer to it as ice cream) but it is not Dairy Queen. I usually use my drink cup and make a sundae with chocolate syrup then add chopped almonds from the salad bar. We try to go during lunch hour so we will not be hungry that evening. I have eaten at Jason's Delis in several states and the food is consistently good at each of their restaurants. You place your order at the counter where you enter then take your sign with a number to the table you select and they bring your food order to your table. If you like Jewish deli food, you'll love Jason's. read more

It's so hard to find a good salad bar any more so having moved to the area recently, I was excited to be near a Jason's Deli. You know what to expect and the employees are helpful. I've never gotten anything different than the salad bar. Last time I went in, I checked in there through Yelp and received a free cookie, which was delicious. read more

I hadn't been here in a long time so when I ordered the Chicken Alfredo I thought nothing of it, not only did the chicken taste horrible the cheese on top tasted overdue and rancid. My niece and nephew got kids meals and they usually give them a small bag of chips not only did they not give him the bag they gave him only a couple on the side of his plate and my nice got maybe 8 grapes. My sister got the same thing as me and said it tasted funny too. We didn't eat anymore and we're taking it to her dogs. I'll lower the score if we get sick later but for now thumbs down would not recommend. read more

This is the worst place for corporate catering. 2 days ago I had a large event meeting scheduled. The food was scheduled to arrive at 4PM (even though the event started at 5:30PM) to give enough time for set up, ect. The driver was given an address 30 minutes in the wrong direction, and ARRIVED at 5:30PM. Me and my pregnant self had to set up the food ALONE after the event had already occurred. AND to top it off, they brought me the incorrect food--- which I sent back with the driver. I was STILL charged the full amount!!! They told me the would remove the waters off of my order and the $7 delivery fee... They have the WORST customer service... ever. read more

I live in Raleigh and I go all the way to this location in Durham just to eat here !!!! The bulled guy ( maniger) makes the food soooo yummy and always gives us some new delicious suggestions it seems like every time we go there something new and yummy !!!!! It's the best !!!! read more

Had food delivered for a student event today. I ordered the usual, chicken Caesar salad with extra dressing. In the past it was excellent, but today it appeared the dressing was watered down, not with oil, but water. I don't know if that is what they have started doing when you order extra dressing, but everything was soggy. Very disappointed! Buyers beware! read more

Jason's is probably the best place to eat in New Hope Commons, there really isn't many other options. You usually have to wait about 10 minutes in line, and about 8 more for your food. The location is very convenient to shopping. The soups are variable - some have been not that great and others have been decent. The pasta is okay, sandwiches are good. There is also a salad bar which I have never tried. Good place to go with kids. read more

Find anywhere else to eat. This place is one step above the school cafeteria, and their salad bar is the worst. We were there this past Sunday, and my husband and I ordered the salad bar-$8.29. We get there and I smell rotten lettuce. So I walk over and while there is someone cleaning the salad bar with a rag (also gross) I notice that the spring mix salad lettuce is wet, and stuck together. What's worse is that there are little bits of dark green rotten lettuce strewn throughout the lettuce. In case you didn't know, lettuce should be dry, not smell rotten, and fluffy. I went to the counter where the assistant manager and blond woman in glasses were working and let her know that the spring mix was bad and needed to be replaced. And I waited because I love a big fluffy salad with good greens. What she did instead was take the tub from under the bar and dumped more of the same rotten lettuce on top of the smelly rotten lettuce already in the bin. I didn't eat lettuce. I had some spinach, and tomatoes, and broccoli. And then we left cause I was so revolted by the state of the produce that we will never come again. I'm writing to corporate and the store owner to advise them of the disgusting state of their "fresh food", but honestly I don't think it'll matter since this is the fourth time we've come to this location and said "never again" in five years. The Brier Creek location is so damn clean, I don't get how the Durham location is so awful! read more

I placed an order to go and waited over 35 minutes. I watched the people behind the counter chat and read comic books. After 20 minutes, I asked the cashier if my food was almost ready. She said it would be only another minute. When I finally got my salad, the lettuce was wet and soggy and wilted. I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

Good food when they get an order correct. Close to half the times I have ate there they mess it up. It is a simple request due to a food allergy, leave 1 item off but they do not pay attention to what the cashier put in. I no longer eat here due to the health risk it poses. read more

I had the smaller chicken salad today which comes with avocado and tomatoes, cheese and bacon. There was ONE small slice of avocado on the whole salad which was disappointing. The chicken was a little on the dry side. And I got enough balsamic dressing for 5 salads. I like this restaurant but this salad was not one I will try again. read more
