This location is in a fantastic area for dining and shopping. And the lunch staff at this location is so courteous and upbeat. The salads are fantastic here and I'm a very big fan of the iced tea that they're famous for. I had the broccoli cheddar soup which was hot and delicious. And I think it's super nice that McAlister's also has chili with no beans included on the menu as well. That's another one of my favorite orders here. read more

McAlister's Deli may be known for their sweet tea in some households, but in mine... they are known for their SPUDS! I absolutely love this option for an entree. There's about 5 different ones you can choose from. My go-to is typically the SPUD MAX. It's basically a loaded baked potato with all the fixings and lil' more ;D I did an online order to this location a few months ago. It was ready right on time & the servers were very kind when I asked for more butter packets lol. The ambiance of this one is similar to many others. They are like Starbucks and all have relatively the same vibe. Although, I will say this location is quite large! You would not have trouble having a big office lunch here or meeting a group. every time I ask for extra sour cream, they never give me the extra sour cream when I order the full size potato. Ordered two tonight and had extra sour cream cups. only one was given. they said new person was in the front but this is an ongoing issue everytime i order. and lacking olives and toppings on the potato. was cold and dry. but we have been going through alot today so barely getting to eat and got what we paid for basically. maybe less. same thing when i order sandwiches. they skimp out on ingredients all the time. First order was the pick two, which was a half club sandwich on rye and a cup of tortilla soup. My bread was old and stale. I did not like the tortilla soup on a creamy base instead of a the more tomato traditional style. The soup hardly had any chicken in it or any vegetables at all. We also ordered the very expensive 12 inch french dip sandwich. The meat lacked zero flavor at all and the Ajou had no flavor as well. The side was mustard/mayo potato salad. We could tell it was out of a tub with a dash of paprika. No flavor as well. This is the first time in a long time that we had ordered from McAllister's. We are very disappointed in the lack of quality versus quantity and price with the food. I think I'm honestly and truly say we will not be ordering from McAllister's ever again. read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants but I am extremely disappointed with how the staff and other customers are treated by customers with no consequence. Tonight, I watched a family with a small child be verbally accosted by another customer for "ruining her quiet dinner". The baby was not that loud or unruly. I'm a regular and see this woman often. She called an employee a bitch recently and is still allowed to come in and mistreat employees and customers. I'll be finding somewhere else to get my sweet tea and salads. read more

Food is excellent always . But service is a hit or miss. The supervisor is very friendly but 3 of the girls taking orders are terrible. Always on their phones, never greet. The girl today didn't even look at me while taking my order. As if me being here is a terrible nuisance. I come here 1-2 times a week I'm honestly tired of the service here and will rather drive to another location. There's definitely a McDonald's service vibe here. The McAlister's Deli on Camp Bowie has some great Spuds. I love the grilled chicken spud or the spud max, they are ginormous! The service is fast and friendly and to top it off McAlister's has REAL Southern Sweet Tea sold by the cup or the gallon......you have to ask yourself, "can it get any better than that"? It's a McAlister's. It is always fine. Never spectacular, but also never terrible. I always feel like my food is pretty good. It's priced at about $10-12 per person if you also get a drink. Most things come with a side as well. Their tea is good and comes in really big cups with free refills. Kids meals are $.99 if you eat them there, and that's always a selling point. This is one of the better McAlister's in the area. It flows better than some I've been to, and it doesn't usually feel crowded. The parking can be a bit crazy in the corner lot, but we've always been able to find some parking. read more

I heart this location. Clean and bright, the employees are friendly and actually listen to your order, and they bring your food out and address you by name. If you dine in, kids eat for $.99. You can't beat that and the selections are great, cheese pita pizza, turkey and cheese, ham and cheese, pb and j, baked spud, garden salad, and a few others. I love the punch card. LOVE it! If you purchase 9 entrees, you get the next one free and it can be used for lunch or dinner. Same with the iced tea, 9 punched gets you the next one free. The baked spuds are really good. My goal is to try each one. I've had the angus beef one a few times, it's huge and so filling. There's a sweet chipotle chicken sandwich with peach sauce, that's pretty good. My Fav McAlister's Location I've eaten at several McAlister's across the metroplex, and have found this one to be my fav. The Caesar salads are always crisp and fresh and the soup is always hot. Chopped up chicken. A little celery. Handful of cranberries. Some pecans maybe even some chopped green onion. This lacked anything including taste. Got to the side. Onion and more tomato. Again nothing spectacular except the root stem of the center of a red onion still attached the the root base. Live and learn. Won't ever order here again. First time order. I learn from my mistake. 25 dollar total order. Way to loose business before you won it. In a time of economic problems where businesses are striving to keep businesses open.
