Placed an order online which didn't take long. I was approximately 10 mins away. I was promptly greeted by the cashier and senior staff member. The cashier gathered my order up and I was on my way. This location is nestled in a small shopping strip next to Johnson County library. It's very spacious. There is a self service salad bar which looked well organized and tidy. This location has an enclosed patio as well. It's been quite awhile since I've been able to enjoy a meal from here and my usual, Pollo Mexicano potato, was exactly as I recalled. Giant sized potato (full original), plenty of veggies, chicken and cheese. I love this potato! Food is a little slow coming out, all I ordered was one wrap I looked at the salad bar. It seemed reasonable, although there was no meat so if you just want veggies and some bread, then you're probably OK. The wrap was good and you get fries with it. Today I tried out Jasons deli for the first time and it was recommended specifically because they have a gluten sensitive menu. I had never been there before and the server at the front counter was patient and did a good job explaining the menu. I had a full sandwich which was a deli club on gluten-free bread that was toasted and a side of baked chips. My husband had the full Muffaletta sandwich as well as their chicken noodle soup and chips and a tea. My sandwich was good, including the bread. The chips were already packaged and were lays baked chips, which were not very good, but that is not the restaurant fault. My husband enjoyed his sandwich and his tea and his chips that came in a little bowl. He felt like their chicken noodle soup was very plain and not flavorful so he was not impressed. But he did have broccoli cheese soup on a previous visit that he said it was excellent. It's a casual restaurant with TV screen playing March madness games. It was generally clean and the salad bar well stocked. They also have free ice cream from a self serve station afterwards. I would definitely go back for the gluten-sensitive choices. read more

If I want a sandwich, I have many different options and I can rotate through them as frequently as I please. I can't think of a time I had a bad meal here unless I just forgot to take something off the sandwich I didn't want, and that's on me. The service is usually spot-on and responsive. To order, you have to funnel into the front central area, which can be crowded sometimes. Once you get to the front, the staff are kind and quick. They help you if you aren't sure what to order or have questions. The salad bar is great and always well stocked with fresh stuff. The atmosphere can vary greatly depending on when you come. If it's a busy lunch hour, you can expect it to be loud, and you may not have a place to sit. If you come during dinner or on a weekday, you usually get right in and out. There are TVs dotted along the walls if you want to watch sports. They even have a small patio if you'd like to eat outside. Be aware that the food is a bit pricier than most restaurants in this area. Feeding four people can easily run you over $50. However, the food will be fresh and tasty. read more

Hair was in two out of three of the sandwiches we ordered. Called the restaurant to tell them that there was hair in the food. The manager who was working on the night of September 27th At 7:40pm what was the one I spoke with. He acted offended that I would even call and suggest that there was hair in the food. He told me never has a thing like that happened before and that he didn't know what I wanted him to do about it. Had a very nasty attitude and offered absolutely no solutions. Very disappointing as we are frequent customers and would have thought that there would have been some sort of solution offered. Will reconsider if we will continue to dine here. read more

I enjoyed the fresh, healthy food and the fast, friendly, professional service during my opening day dine-in lunch. The Mesa chicken salad ($11.39) was brought to my table with a smile just four minutes after I ordered at the counter. It was nicely sized, with premium, grilled, white chicken, fresh ingredients and a tasty, creamy, tangy jalapeño dressing on the side. I noticed an extensive salad bar (without helpful labels), free soft serve ice cream (chocolate, vanilla or swirl), a patio and a spacious, new dining area with TVs (one off) and background music. Food - kids had sandwiches and of course I had to try them. They were actually a little thicker than I anticipated and tasty. I really think the only way to screw up a sandwich is to not have enough on them. Thankfully, this wasn't the case. Wife and I did the salad bar. Everything was fresh and a lot of good choices to pile on. Extra bonus for the kids was the free ice cream. Service - Staff was very polite. They moved around constantly cleaning up around the salad bar, because some people just can't figure out how to put food on their plate. A+ for the staff! It's lunch on a sunny warm late winter day. I had the best intention of eating soup & salad but was drawn to the Managers Special of half sandwich, chips a & a cup of soup. Chicken Panini & Irish soup were my picks. Took my numbered placard & filled my cup with a mix of currant tea and sweet tea. They also had unsweetened & another flavored tea and other pop options as well. My food came at a reasonable time. I really liked the quality chicken, tomato, slightly melted Gouda cheese and tasty pesto on my panini but had too many spinach leaves. The Irish soup seems to be really a potato soup & I really couldn't tell from the description or taste what makes it "Irish". I'm glad to see that salad bars have returned and this offers you the traditional Jason's deli menu. It seemed like all the food runners & table bussers didn't speak or understand English as I had interaction with both & even the salad bar worker. Just got yelled at and humiliated for taking an extra side of sunflower seeds for my salad. I was headed out but my grandma asked if she could get some more sunflower seeds so I took not even a cup full of seeds and poured it on top of the salad. Out of nowhere what seems to be the manager says like " is there anything else, do you have enough boxes, do you need more to fill up." as if I wasn't already having a bad day. I took a ride to Jason Deli in 87th, as the one on 119th closed. I ordered 1/2 California Club, Broccoli Cheddar Soup, Chips for my husband... he loved it said it was the best sandwich soup hands down. I got my favorite the plane Jane baked potato. This potato was huge! My husband said it has to weigh 8 pounds! Lol! Came w/ cheddar, butter, sour cream, chives. It was so big I ate part last night the rest tonight! Love there baked potatoes!
