I'm still newer to cava, but this is probably my fifth time eating it and I absolutely love it! Especially this store in Overland Park. Everything is always so easy to order especially online because I usually order online instead of ordering inside. It's always fresh and delicious and as somebody who has acid reflex, this place has everything that you could offer as far as something healthier to eat from the food to the soda. Everything seems like a healthier option. The store was clean and tidy as always, and even though there were only two people working we still received our food in a timely manner. Cava is a nice spot for a casual meal. Mom and I both ordered Greek salads. The chicken and hummus were delicious. My only complaint was the abundance of stems in my salad greens. It might just be a personal preference, though, since my mom wasn't bothered by it. Service was quick and friendly; in and out with a smile. I also appreciate their use of environmentally friendly, plant-based utensils. They have small but cute patio with umbrellas for shade. Overall, a pleasant experience. We loved our trip to Canva! The service was quick and adequate. The price can quickly add up to almost $20/person if you upgrade your meat or add some avocado plus a drink or a $3 cookie. But the food?? Worth it!! Many menu items are absolutely packed with flavor, such as the harissa chicken, "crazy feta" - Feta cheese whipped with jalapeño, onion, and olive oil, and the SKHUG dressing (pronounced "Schoo *g") - a jalapeño-laced herby goodness Yemeni hot sauce. All to say - they have FUN with flavor and their bowls can be combined into 100+ versions! (Decisions sometimes stress me out, so thank goodness they had a few premade combinations!) An amazing addition to the fast casual dining arena. The food is fresh, and the selection is impeccable. On my first visit, I was easily able to build a bowl that tickled my taste buds, and my mom has always been satisfied with her picks here. On this trip, she went with a pre-chosen option of a pita filled with chicken meat and was happy with the simplicity of that. On the other hand, I went with a complex bowl order that popped with flavor and textures. I was in awe of the crunch and brininess of the pickles also, the crazy feta is just that- crazy good! Fantastic, healthy food! First time eating here, thanks to my son, who I met for lunch there. I went into selection overload because of all the options to create my Mediterranean masterpiece, but what I created did not disappoint at all. Healthy, flavorful food, and their own soda made with organic sweetener was a pleasant change from the normal sodas most places offer. (Hint: try their blueberry soft drink!) I added a side of their garlic pita slices. I may have found a new food addiction to go with my coffee addiction! Will definitely be returning, despite the distance to travel there from Olathe. Omg!!! I went home for the weekend and I saw this place all over tik tok and I had no clue there was one in KC. It was kind of like a Mediterranean version of Chipotle. It was sooo good. My dine-in lemon chicken bowl ($10.72) was ready just as soon as I finished paying at the counter, where the service was cheerful and efficient. The bowl was nicely sized at 8" x 2" with a generous portion of delicious chicken and very tasty sauces and toppings. Most options were included in the price, but some were available for a surcharge. The beverage options were stellar, including unique bottled beverages, Mexican cola, diet Mexican cola, blueberry soda, root beer, lemonade and iced teas. I liked the clean and new dining area with background music (a notch too loud), the nice patio area and the nice ceramic (?) dine-in bowl with silverware for a more upscale experience. I am going to start with the positive parts of our visit: The bowl finisher/cashier was very sweet and fast. The saffron rice, falafel and crazy feta were amazing! The line was full of fresh pans of food that all looked delicious. Unfortunate parts of our visit included a 30 min wait to order with only 5 people in line in front of us, no readable menu descriptions of anything until it's your turn to order (guaranteed to be slowing the line down), very slow service from the initial bowl/pita builder, and they were out of tzatziki & yogurt sauce, a main feature for this style of food for many. We would have left if we knew that beforehand. The whole system behind the line and in the back looked like literal chaos, and I didn't enjoy the ordering process at all. There were no napkins present in any dispensers, and all the tables were dirty. (This was at 8:00 pm, so the dinner rush was long over). I tried it for the first time about two weeks ago. I did not know what to expect other than my friend saying that it was really good! I had ordered online and it was super easy! I came to the restaurant and they had it already on time! However they forgot to include my drink which happens but if I didn't look inside I would've have left and not gotten it. The staff was nice when I did ask for the cup though. They also forgot to include utensils when I checked off include utensils but it's okay. I got the Tahini Caesar bowl and omggg it was so good!!! It gives off a Chipotle vibe but definitely healthier but with a Mediterranean twist. They even offer a free side of pita. The bowl was a good size but it was a little expensive like Panera prices. I also decided to try out their drinks and got the Blueberry Lavender drink. I didn't expect to like it but it was really good and refreshing! It was more blueberry but I could taste only a little bit of lavender. It was $3.30 for a large and next time I would probably just get water because I felt like it was gone pretty fast! Overall recommend to everyone who likes mediterranean or is wanting something healthy! read more

Finally today- we did it! We had come once before- for lunch, stood in line, which was LONG and barely moving, we didn't want to wait and left. Today we came for dinner, and intentionally did late, 8:30 or so, and there was only 1 person ahead of us- it was great!! The food was great!! What chipotle is for Mexican, bibipop for Asian, this is for Mediterranean. Clean, healthy choices, all stations (base, dip, protein, sauces and toppings) marked calories of each ingredient which I loved: I made my own bowl, with arugula, red pepper hummus, tzatziki dip, grilled chicken, pickled onion and cucumber, pico, a garlic sauce and another greenish one- the result was a healthy wholesome meal. The chicken was flavorful and moist, and the sauces, dips and toppings all went perfectly with it! Definitely recommend if you have not tried this yet.
