We moved from Ashburn, VA to Bradenton, FL 2 years ago and haven't come across this delicious burger joint in a minute...I came here with an open mind and remembering how much I loved it in VA. This location delivers 5 stars easily. Not sure why it was lightly occupied on a late Friday afternoon but folks are missing out because the burgers are super delicious, sweet potato fries on point and the sauce selection is very unique--giving most people the taste they are looking for. Just enough blue cheese crumbles to not to be too pungent with its salty and sharp flavor . Poor customer service for fast food is in the continued rise. I do understand that many restaurants and fast food chains are still experiencing short staff challenges since COVID and never truly regained having adequate coverage. However, to bring out food that looks like this is truly unacceptable. I addressed the issue with the shift manager on duty and it's clear corporate needs to ensure that their young leaders receive adequate training beyond just on the grill. I stopped by the Carrollwood location to share these concerns with the manager on duty, Chauncey. He was very apologetic and offered to comp the salads on a future purchase and that he would be speaking with the staff regarding issues with the quality of food. It's pretty simple people. If you wouldn't eat it, DON'T serve it! That doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out. My suggestion is for GM's and corporate to keep your finger on the pulse with your restaurants. read more

I have only ordered to go food from this location. They have to go parking easily marked. They are always quick & ready when you call upon arrival. Chicken tenders: Recently, I decided to try their chicken tenders instead of a burger. They are crispy with juicy white meat chicken, but the flavor of the breading is not anything special. I would not recommend the tenders. They did give me a lot of 21 sauce which I appreciate because I can use it for other things. Although I won't get tenders again, I still appreciate the to-go service of this location and their burgers have been good like I expect from the first time I tried them at another location. I've loved Burger 21 for years, but it's been a few months since we've stopped in. Tonight (12/5) at 7pm, we walked up to the register and waited for assistance. As we waited, two young ladies were working, one with receipts behind the counter, and one stocking napkin dispensers. Neither said anything to us. After waiting and continuing to be ignored, I noticed the ordering kiosk to the far right. We went ahead and placed our order there. After we placed our order, I went to the young lady behind the counter and said, "Excuse me, may I please have a cup of water?" She never looked up and mumbled something under her breath. I asked, "I'm sorry?", and she replied, again without looking up, "In a minute." She continued to busy herself stacking receipts and after a minute, got the water. I'm sorry, but this is absolutely a management issue. If you care for your guests, you train your staff that guests should be treated with respect. This is inexcusable. To our amazement, there were only 2 other tables were occupied. (Not always a good sign). The cashier was super sweet, gave us some suggestions which was cool. I ordered the Tex mex haystack (one of top 3 burgers) and my friend got Shroom burger. The Tex mex burger comes with onion rings, smoked Gouda, bacon guacamole, chipotle jalapeño sauce on the side. Toppings were great but the meat itself was not flavorful. My friend didn't like her burger either. I really really wanted to like it but it was such a let down.
