Friendly and quick service. I order to go food in store and it didn't take long for it to be ready. Both sandwiches were good but needed extra sauce. The steak and pepper sandwich was my favorite. It was cooked well. The Caesar chicken wrap has a lot of lettuce and the need for extra sauce was more noticeable here.

This stop was a happy accident. We were driving down to the stadium when we received an important phone call and had to stop. By a stroke of luck we ended up at McAlister's Deli desired to go in for a quick lunch and they did not disappoint. The menu was a tad confusing and they had the soups and sides in signs to the side of the menu. Nonetheless our experience was wonderful, fast and friendly service, good food at a good price, the cleanliness was outstanding for how busy it was and over all a really nice lunch date. I would recommend this place to every one of my friends and will be sure to swing by when in the area.

They have outlets for plugging in electronics.

So obsessed with the fresh brewed ice tea! And not to create more Hype or Madness to McAlister Deli but they also have fresh cut lemon wedges to fo with those iced teas or better yet the freshly made salads!

This deli is order at the counter and issue an order number. Then you a fix you number to table stand. That how they identify your order and deliver to you. Table and seat is pick by you. It has freedom of your table choice. I like that concept of fast food order. They bring the food to you. The menu is very simple. Mainly is the sandwich. Nothing fancy. We got the Black Angus Beef Club. The club sandwich come as four pieces of bread cut in triangle with beef slide sandwich. The bacon can be improved to a bit crispy. This item may be one of the most expensive items. Taste is ok. We waited about 8 minutes for our food to deliver to our table. Not much of service

McAlister's what happened?!?! You were a staple of ours and service used to be impeccable! Went last night on a whim. 7:30pm and they were out of tea. Was told, "I'd have to make more tea". We opted not to do that. Seemed the employee was more interested in flirting with the other employee to pay attention to customers anyway After waiting an unusually long time (only one other set of customers was in the restaurant, four people that had already been served), we asked for our order. They almost gave us someone else's order. It was supposed to be quick and easy, just soup and nachos. 20 minutes later, they gave us the correct bag but without the soup... Glad I checked before leaving. The food we got was good quality, just needed to be hotter and was a hassle to get. I think it'll be a while before we go back Sad because we typically love their food!!

My son had the turkey a d cheese sandwich and Mac and cheese. He said the Mac and cheese wasn't goood. I tried it as well and agreed. It didn't have much flavor. The Santa Fe salad was very good. The dressing was very tasty, had a citrus vibe to it. McAllisters is always my sons choice. Hopefully they can work on the Mac and cheese. Another March visit, but doing a late review.

I am always in the mood for McAlister's Deli! Their ingredients are always so fresh and delicious! Again I ordered the BLTA....it doesn't just look amazing! It tastes that way too!

I've actually had CAVA before, but it had been a few years since the last time I went, so I was excited to try it again. We both ended up getting bowls, and everything tasted super fresh and flavorful. I got arugula and brown rice as my base with harissa honey chicken, tzatziki and hummus, plus corn, pickled onions, pita crisps, pita chips on the side, and the yogurt dill sauce. Everything mixed together so well and had a really good balance of flavors and texture. The harissa honey chicken had a really good sweet and spicy flavor without being too overpowering. For my drink, I mixed the blueberry lavender drink with lemonade and it was SO good and refreshing. My mom got the garlic dressing on her bowl and I highly recommend trying it because it was really flavorful and paired well with everything. The portions were great, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the whole meal felt light but still filling. Definitely a place I'd come back to again!

The only miss for me was the raw white part of the green onions in the salad, they were a bit too chunky for my taste. The chicken, though? Perfectly grilled...crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. It came with a tzatziki sauce that was more on the liquidy side, which isn't my favorite texture, so I just used it as a dip for the chicken and hummus. Heads-up: the menu on their official site isn't updated, but if you Google "Tasty Mediterranean," it shows accurate prices and lets you order online. It came out to $17.99 plus tax , which is a little pricey for lunch, but the portions were solid and the staff were super friendly so no complaints there!

I don't know how it's possible but I think it may have even been better the second day. Trust me when I say ... I eat more pizza than almost anyone. No drink refills, and we had to flag someone down just to get our check and to-go boxes. We started with a Caesar salad after finding out the octopus carpaccio (which we were excited to try) had run out -- the salad was fine but pretty unremarkable. We also ordered the Montecristo pizza with burrata, which looked great in theory, but the burrata was not evenly distributed -- piled onto one side, leaving the rest of the pizza bare. The crust itself was floppy with no real flavor -- no standout sauce or seasoning. Honestly, I think I could make a better pie at home on my Gozney. Our friends weren't impressed either -- the lasagna was underwhelming, and the cheese pizza they ordered (with a request for extra cheese) came out with no extra cheese at all. Disappointing overall, especially given the price point and the reviews. Might try again someday to see if it was an off night, but not in a rush to go back.

An Italian spin on Cooper's Hawk? Yes, please!…read more The moment the sign went up on this building during construction, I eagerly anticipated this place because I knew it was owned by Cooper's Hawk. We're wine club members, and always enjoy our meals at their location near International Plaza, so the idea of having a Piccolo Buco opening up closer to us in Carrollwood was quite exciting! Let's start at the beginning. My husband and I were fortunate enough to visit Piccolo Buco for their soft opening preview event before they opened to the public, so we were able to try some of their items at no charge. We were limited to ordering from specific menus so their kitchen could get used to making a variety of dishes. Unfortunately for us, our menus were pretty much limited to pizza, pizza, and more pizza. Don't get me wrong, the pizzas were tasty... but since we could each order an appetizer and an entree, and the pizzas were in both of those sections, we didn't actually have a ton of choice. But you can't really complain about free food, so we had a lot of leftovers. During that meal, we had the yellow tomato bisque, the classic margherita pizza (with red tomato sauce), the charred pepperoni pizza (with red tomato sauce), and spicy pepperoni (with yellow tomato sauce). It was a little comical to see three pizzas on our table for two. And while these may LOOK like personal pizzas, don't let that fool you... these are filling. The pizzas were tasty, though I will say the yellow tomato sauce is a bit bland for a pizza. I'd recommend sticking to the red sauce, personally. However, the yellow tomato bisque was fantastic! A bit after they opened to the public, I returned on my own for lunch one day, and got to try their meatball sandwich, which comes with your choice of side (I chose the Caesar salad). FYI, their sandwiches are a lunch-only item, so they're only served until 3:30 pm. Both the sandwich and salad were pretty good, though I'd probably try the chicken parm sandwich next time. Most recently, my husband and I came here for a midday lunch, and split a lunch-only salad (I wish I could remember the name, but it had mixed greens, a vinaigrette dressing, croutons, shaved cheese, kalamata olives, red onion, mozzarella, and a pesto drizzle). This salad was phenomenal! We couldn't stop raving about it... that is, of course, until our entree arrived: the truffle fondue cappellacci. You guys, this honestly might be the best pasta I've ever eaten. My mouth is watering just remembering this dish. It's a cheese-stuffed pasta with black truffle brown butter, aged balsamic, toasted pistachios, and a light honey drizzle. We practically licked the plate clean. How much did we like that pasta? Enough to come back for dinner the very next day and order it again. This time, we split the cappellacci and the braised short ribs. Now, my go-to dish at Cooper's Hawk is the short rib, so I was interested to compare them. I think the flavoring of the Piccolo Buco version is better; however, I didn't love the polenta it's served with, whereas it comes with mashed potatoes at Cooper's Hawk. That being said, Piccolo Buco's salmon is served with roasted Yukon gold potatoes, so I might ask if I could swap the sides on my next visit. For dessert, we've tried both the chocolate hazelnut cake (I'm a sucker for anything Nutella-adjacent) and the crostada (this is always on the dessert menu, but the fruit it's served with is seasonal... as I write this, it's peach and blueberry, but when I visited, it was brown butter apple and chestnut). Both of these desserts are quite good, but the crostada is easily the better of the two. I'm hoping I can try the peach and blueberry version, because that sounds lovely! Oh, and just as Cooper's Hawk has their barrel reserve wine, Piccolo Buco has their Buca Riserva, a Super Tuscan-style blend. It's delicious, and you can always ask for a sample of any of their wines before you commit.

I have driven by a few time and always looks busy, so thought it would be good. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the food. Sat at the bar and ordered one of the house old fashions, which was excellent. Since they are promoting their pizza so much, I thought it would be good as well. I was wrong. Ordered a Fungo pizza, one of the standards on the menu, which had wild mushrooms, black garlic, Parmesan fonduta, basil, and white truffle oil. Sounded great, but I got a pizza with 2 inches of crust and a tiny bit of toppings. (see pic) Taste was good but it was mostly dough. For the price of $18, I was extremely disappointed. My wife ordered the Calabrian Chili Shrimp Pasta and it was also disappointing. $25 for a small plate of undercooked boxed pasta with 6 med shrimp was not a good value. In addition, the time to get our food was longer than expected. I know the restaurant recently opened, but being a Coopers Hawk restaurant, they should have their act together. Low value, long wait times and mediocre food prevent me recommending this restaurant. Hopefully they work out the bugs soon. However, I do recommend going to the bar for an excellent cocktail.
