    Sparkling wine award
    Laura W.

The service is phenomenal, the seating is plentiful and the white wines amazing. I'm so glad we decided to pop in. No reservation needed here and they had the 2023 Best Sparkling Wine for the state. It was delicious and I took home quite a few bottles. If you love a white wine this is your stop.

This was our favorite winery on the Long Island trip, it's a very family friendly farm with a petting zoo, live music and corn hole. We loved the flight selection options and frozen sangria. They don't sell food, but the wine is top tier and full bodied. It was also nice to just have a counter service venue with self seating instead of having to make a reservation. This is a must-stop in the area!

    Beautiful decor for sale.

Jason's Vineyards is another great place to enjoy a nice glass of wine! The staff and the service were amazing. Beautiful grounds, beautiful views. Another great place for groups.

Nice atmosphere, live band, cute animals on the property. Good amount of inside and outside seating and delicious selection of wine.

Lovely vineyard with alpaca and sheep to see. There is an outdoor patio and a very large wood deck to sit at. Limited seating inside at the bar/ counter. Staff were attentive and accommodating. Very relaxed environment. Wine flights were $15, best deal in town I thought . Wine was tasty with lots of choices. Dog friendly.

Great place, friendly staff, good wine, love the frose. Live music is so talented. A lot of space outside with sun covering and nice crowd.

My absolute favorite vineyard in all North Fork. Beautiful outdoor seating in vineyard along with patio available if you wish to avoid the elements. Live music available most weekends and is pet friendly. Very busy on weekends and definitely try their Sauvignon Blanc

Enjoying the wine a little too much ;-)

Delicious wines, friendly staff & great ambiance. Tasting (select 4) for $15, nice selection of snacks! The Sauvignon Blanc 2021 is particularly awesome.

This was a nice winery. I visited with my girlfriend on a Saturday afternoon, and we met up with some friends. Very spacious place. We all sat at a round table by the wine bar area, and it was conformable. We ordered a few bottles of both red wine and white wine and split them both. I enjoyed them both. The golden fleece was my favorite of the two, but the Hercules red wine was a nice go to choice as well. They also had some live music being performed there, which was a nice touch. You are allowed to bring in some snacks, so you can eat while drinking some wines. That is a huge plus for me! Overall, this was a nice place to spend a few hours catching up with friends.

Great place to bring your own food and hang out with a couple bottles of their wine. It also has a few furry animals and is kid friendly. A plus for those who can't leave the little ones at home. The tasting bar is shaped like a boat. Very cool. Clean and spacious. A plus during these crazy Covid times. There are a plethora of outdoor seating options. There is a large porch attached to the main building with many tables. And then there are the tables and a gazebo right next to the vines, all under umbrellas.

    Smallest tasting pour EVER

Never have I paid $15 for 4 x 1 oz pours - the small cups are 5 oz, they should at least be half full, if not full! - I asked the server if he was seriously charging me that much for what he gave and he said that's what he's done at Pindar and he said that's what he's done in the past where he works - not the appropriate response! However, Alethea (one of the owners) happened to be onsite and stepped in to correct the situation. Thank you for reinstalling my love for this spot! Don't recommend!

Ok this place rocks!!!!! Great wine, plenty of seating, animals on premises (alpacas and sheep) and they allow dogs (outside seating only). We came here with our dog Kilo, a year and a half ago when he was 3 months old and now we came back when he was 2.5 years old. GreaT atmosphere plenty of seating available and the wine is pretty damn good!!! The customers there are all dog lovers it seems!!! Kilo made a ton of friends with people and their kids and it was such a good experience. It was labor day weekend and the place was pretty busy. Ton of parking and live music just made it a wonderful day out East for us.

My favourite thing about this winery is the fact that you are allowed to bring your own food. It is also dog friendly and on any given day you see many people bring their dogs. There are also animals on site in an inclosure. If I had to judge the service by today's visit I would say it is terrible - the bartender was absolutely miserable and looked like she did not want to be bothered. But having been here before I know this is not always the case and the other staff are normally very friendly. Overall, it is a nice enough place, but not as cozy and beautiful as the rest of the wineries out here on the North Fork.

When you get tired of wine, they have beer too

This may not be the spot to go to in the winter. Though, if we were local, I could see us hanging out at the bar, watching a game and noshing on fare from the Little Oak Pizza Kitchen. The chow from the kitchen is fresh and tasty though some of it is a bit over priced but HEY! You're wine tasting out East! FUGGHEDABOUTIT! 5 gigantic shrimp for about $20. Tasty but maybe not worth $4/shrimp. Your best bet is to go with their pizzas which are pretty awesome. Juuuuuuust big enough for two (unless you're a total gavone, then you might need one just for yourself). We recommend the Buddy Boy which features sopresseta and hot honey. Jazz it up with additional spicy sausage. NOW you're eating! The outdoor tasting area is relaxed. There's a covered section that ensures you're out of the sun and any stray shower. Larger, Oktoberfest-style tables off to the side and clusters of Adirondack chairs under a stand of trees. No views of vines to speak of but you feel like you're visiting your rich friends' exceedingly well-landscaped backyard. A completely relaxing experience and, being just west of Jamesport proper, you don't spend your entire afternoon slogging to points further east. One of our favorite spots! Cheers!

The drive from Queens to Mattituck took about 1.5 hours. We didn't have a reservation, but they welcomed walk-ins. The hostess told us the first two rooms were for ordering drinks and food at the bar only. The deck was set up as the Tasting Room. Also, there was another Private Tasting Suite by the restrooms and kitchen. My good friend's dog barked, and a staff member snapped at us. We didn't let it ruin our first impression of Macari Vineyards. Cody greeted us at the bar, and Cynthia asked him about the sparkling wine selection. He offered her samples of the 2024 "Horses" Sparkling Cabernet Franc and Red Blend. Cody gave us a table number after we ordered and paid, so that the servers could bring our food.
