Over charges for a ac compressor repair. I was quoted at 2k-2.3k for the repair. Called else where and was quoted for 600-1.3k. Do not recommend especially for those in the cool air rebate program. You're right the price should not be the key reason as to why you got a one star review. Allow me to elaborate my experience. First time calling you were giving attitude towards me for getting another phone call. I had to go ahead and be quick about the info. The day of the appointment you were questioning my name and asking if I am who I am. You spelled my name wrong and made a big fuss for no reason. After that was over I left the car with you and you told me I would get a phone call from you after the diagnostic. Time passed and I got the phone call, you told me what I was wrong and I wanted to see for myself what was wrong by asking again what the issue was. Again the attitude came in and you huff and puff about it. Why am I the customer getting attitude from someone who is supposed to answer the customers question. That is already making me feel uneasy of doing the repair. Back to the call you told me it's a total of 2-2.5k overall and I would only pay 800. I was surprised by the cost and went ahead and investigated. Called different shops and I was told about the price range I mentioned. I walked back to you and you gave attitude towards me for giving you the same energy you did to me. You then said, I don't know why you're giving me attitude it's just who I am." Sorry but that attitude won't get you much trust and the same energy you want. Would like to mention you're dissing on other mechanics repairs for no reason. There's a a reason why people don't go with the first option all the time. Would like to mention as well the mechanic who repaired it gave me a free two year warranty and 24k miles which ever comes first. All in all, one star for you bud Last time I'm going to comment this. Since you're not understanding my one star review. A bad experience before the repair even starts is more than enough reason to take business elsewhere. DANIEL from Jasper's auto Service in Artesia is an amazing mechanic, seriously!! I had an issue with my tire pressure in my car where no matter what, other mechanics could not get it turned off. I bought new tires and they put in new sensors and could not turn off that tire pressure notice. DANIEL took his time and fixed the issue! I was also having an issue with the nozzle when I was putting gas in my car, the nozzle kept clicking and shutting off the gas. DANIEL checked it out, and after several questions he had for me, he figured out that I was not putting in the nozzle properly, instead of inserting, the nozzle straightforward, I was supposed to put the nozzle straightforward and pull it down. Sure enough, it was user error (Me)! Lastly, the Ford dealership in Cerritos auto Square was going to charge me 3 times the amount that Daniel charged me. I took my 2019 Toyota sienna to Jaspers after the dealership told me it would cost $3175 to replace 6 coils and spark plugs. Daniel told me he could do the same work for $1610. The work was done the same day. I have a camera in my car that the dealership always disconnects, which pisses me off, so it makes me wonder what they are hiding or really doing. Brought my vehicle in, explained symptoms as felt on FREEWAY. Left the vehicle hoping they would test drive on FREEWAY. Left for a bit, came back and was told "new rear shocks will take care of that." Trusting the owner (big mistake) I allowed them to replace the rear shocks. Now after paying $398 the vehicle is not close to fixed. When I came back to pickup the vehicle, I noted the owner leaving to test drive the vehicle. He drove it straight into side streets, so I know he never once went on freeway. Perhaps if he had taken the extra time to drive the vehicle on the FREEWAY the issue could of been diagnosed and repaired correctly. Now I am out $398 and still have a un-repaired vehicle. And like the other reviews I can hear the calls to customer explaining so called "bad news" with high quotes. Beware typical scumbag shop! read more

I have had my Mercedes Benz taken here multiple times over the years and my power steering pump went out immediately and when my brakes were done, the parking brake was never tightened/adjusted. And yes the parking brakes were replaced. I feel like the quality of work and their oil is very low for how high the bill is. I noticed how unhappy my engine was and I had to immediately change it again. It's like every time I take any vehicle here the bill is always over a thousand dollars and I know for a fact that for the same jobs at other places, it wouldn't be as high. My mother swore by this mechanic and I knew she was always getting ripped off and I was right. I took my vehicle somewhere else and my power steering was done right this time because it didn't leak right after, like when they did it. I found Jasper's on Yelp, after reading the reviews I decided to take my 04 Silverado in for electrical repairs. When i got there i talked to Pete who was very professional as we discussed the electrical issues. Pete regulary called me to keep me informed as they were tracing the problem. They soon traced the problem to the BCM (Body Control Module) and told me why it was failing. The repair cost was reasonable considering the work they went through. I brought in my '13 Audi A4 (B8) in to get both headlight bulbs replaced since one had gone out, and I heard online to replace headlights in pairs. I had called prior and was quoted $100 for changing out both headlight bulbs. I had previously purchased two xenon bulbs for the mechanic to install, and Javier swapped the one broken bulb out. He indicated that it was missing a bulb cap, which is essential in protecting the bulb from humidity that may have caused the failure in the first place. He also checked to see if my other headlight had a bulb cap to protect the bulb; it did. Javier then advised that it was not necessary to replace both bulbs at the same time, as the lifespan of the other original bulb would last a couple more years. I then headed to the office to pay. The master technician told me I didn't owe them anything, but did recommend not bringing in my own part for replacement. The entire visit took no longer than 10-15 minutes. Javier was very helpful and seemed very knowledgeable, and the other staff I came in contact with were friendly. Great service! read more

Was driving east bound on the 91freeway and got a flat. Immediately Yelped tire repair shops and this gem popped up as the closest. Jasper's is very inviting and I can definitely tell it has a women's touch to it. It's clean, decorated and female greeted me. They were very customer oriented and jumped on my tire issue immediately. I've had this knocking/popping noise coming from underneath my car for the month or so.
