I found Mike V's service & repair shop after searching for a Mini repair shop near me, which I'm surprised I hadn't found them sooner. Mike was very accommodating, informative and also nice. I did not feel rushed out or anything like that, as you might feel with other auto repair shops. I was very happy to hear that they also service Minis (besides BMWs and Benz's). I contacted them regarding work that my Mini dealer had stated that I needed to have done, and I was able to receive an estimate on the phone. It was much less than what my dealer had quoted me (3X more). I took my Mini to Mike and they were able to service my Mini and repair the problem. Have them change out head lamp light bulbs due to malfunction warning. Very quick and professional.

Had to check water leak and when they checked it they replaced the radiator and hose, after checking the engine they had to change the belts and received the car running very good. They use genuine parts to insure perfect performance. I highly recommend this place. read more

Had to get some repairs on my 2009 ML350. Thanks yelpers for the tip! Mike answered the phone, very nice and knowledgeable about imports. Family owned and run.. A plus! His quotes for the repairs were more than fair! The dealership wanted an insane amt of money to work on my transmission fluid box and install a new battery. They worked me in the morning I called and called before doing the repiars with a breakdown in costs. Nothing but great things to say... Very honest, does good work and just nice peeps! Labor cost at vroomans auto was pricey. I just wanted to take my car to a Shop that knew what they were doing and source the problem with the starting issue. I can tell Mike was a professional just by his appearance and demeanor. So I took the plunge on a diagnostic for the starting issue. Well I hate to say it but mike and his team fixed my starting issue. They didn't rush to fix my car within a day. They are professional and upfront. I picked up my car today paid them they took clear pictures of my undercarriage and hand it to me with the invoice and explained to me about my existing fuel leak that I knew about. If you have an older (20-25 yr old) Mercedes-Benz or BMW, you probably agonize over needed repairs because qualified mechanics for those vehicles are hard to find. Most dealerships do not stock the parts and most mechanics don't want the hassle of locating them. I have a 25-year-old Mercedes E300 diesel I purchased in 2014 for $2300. I knew it was a project car, but the W124 model was a classic with a good reputation and parts were available. Coupled with my past classic vehicle ownership and Internet sourcing skills, I completed a lot of restoration tasks to the vehicle. A few years ago, the transmission was acting up and I was unable to identify the problem after a lot of research and hearing unqualified mechanics telling me I needed a new transmission until I asked Mike Vrooman to diagnose the problem. I've known of Mike Vrooman since the early 90's when I got my first Mercedes, a 1984 Mercedes 300SD. Mike was a very qualified Mercedes mechanic and knew my car well. Fast forward 28 years and Mike is one of the few remaining experts on older German luxury vehicles. Mike identified the mechanism 'most likely' to be at fault. Rather than change mechanics after a six-year relationship, I took Mike's suggestion and added it to a list of other maintenance tasks I had already scheduled with my current mechanic, who recently completed the work after I purchased one part not available thru US dealerships or Germany. Auto restoration activities can be difficult. Bottom line, some people might consider Mike Vrooman as 'Old School', but that's exactly what you need when you have a older German classic. read more

SHADY MECHANICS. THEY LIE ABOUT SERVICES YOU NEED TO GET MORE MONEY FROM YOU. I took my car to get diagnosed to the BMW dealer because it was having issues. They told me what the issue was but that it was going to take a week to fix it. So I took the car to get it fixed here. I didn't tell them I had got it diagnosed already to see if they were honest. They added another 3 issues with the car that the car did not have. I told them I didn't want the other services, only the main issue. But then they showed me ripped pipes and broken electrical work (I didn't have when I left the BMW dealer). These guys literally cut some pipes and damaged the electrical in the car thinking I didn't know it was not like that before I arrived. I could no longer drive the car because of what they did so I had no choice but to pay it so they could fix it and I could leave. When I left after they supposedly fixed everything,I ended up having more problems with the car. I ended up reporting them to the agency that set regulations for them. Super shady. Stay away from here. read more
