Thank you Java Hut for always being there when I need a drive thru energy boost! The prices went up and I'm sure it's not easy to maintain a drive thru without the "brand" of the other major coffee chains. Learn how to roast your coffee beans. I've been here 3 times and all three times I was given burnt bitter nasty coffee, a thrown out mocha and another $4.50+ wasted. Lots of other choices in Napa, won't be back. read more

Best frap style beverages I've ever had! Highly recommend the mocha or vanilla chini's with an extra add shot of espresso. Yum yum. I never give places five stars but this place deserves it. Good hours for a local business too, they are a very small drive thru style coffee place. Want to try the seasonal beverages too...but i can't seem to stay away from my vanilla chini... I honestly am addicted to this place. I usually don't even drink iced blended coffee drinks because off the sugar content...but this one is worth the extra calories. read more

The place was dead and we drove up to order a coffee and the girl stated we drove in the wrong way and asked if we could turn the car around. I didn't see the point of asking us to turn the car around just to order a cup of coffee, I thought it was rude and senseless, we just moved here and would never go there again. read more

I am all about going to support the little guys but visiting this place was my only bad time in Napa. Instead of heading to the long line at Starbucks, we opted on the Java Hut because there was absolutely no one there. It's a little hut that you can drive up to a window on either side. Since I was not going to order anything I drove up to the window on my passenger's side so he could order. The snooty lady says "uh you have to turn your car around, you drove in wrong." So I had to make a big circle to enter the correct way even though there aren't any one way signs on either side. The closer I got to the window the more annoyed I became at this inconvenience. I drove an additional 8 blocks to Starbucks where we all are greeted as a friend. read more

I love this place! However, are the hours until 6pm or 7pm on Fridays?? I was turned away tonight and I was very disappointed.

The Mochachini's used to taste good, but last several times they tasted like pudding mix. I threw my last one out and I will never went back after coming here for years. I don't know what happened to this place, the quality has gone down with their drinks. Too bad because I used to love this place. Well found a better place that makes cheaper drinks, which is Dutch Bros. I like to partake in supporting local businesses, however not when the quality taste so bad you need to brush your teeth to get the horrible taste out of your mouth. read more

This spot is in a convenient spot, and has a decent menu. The gals that prepared our drinks were super nice, and did their best to keep their service prompt. The danishes/bfast snackies we purchased were tasty, and the coffee was decent. read more

I only get the soy mocha chini. Been getting for 14 yrs. 10 times better, creamier than a Starbucks frappe. Yum yum go for a morning jolt or anytime treat. Always friendly. :) read more

If you go here I would definitely recommend the blended drinks above all else! The mochachinis are always delicious, and the POG smoothie is absolutely my favorite! I like how they have many different flavors and combinations for their drinks so I never seem to get bored. Plus the girls that work there are very sweet and nice. I've never had a problem with service. Java Hut is the place to go if you want a cool, sweet, and delicious drink on a hot day. When you go to the same place for iced coffee and or/smoothies for a while you begin to run out of ideas to get, but with all the options/customizations you can do here it would be impossible to try everything! I just came through with some family to get 5 drinks. The girl at the window seriously told us we have to wait for her to help all 3 other cars since we were ordering 5 drinks as it would take too long for them to wait. This was after we just waited 15min in line. We come here as regulars and I cannot believe she actually said this to us. My mother asked her if she was serious, she said yes, my mother then asked so what if all these other cars (one on the other window and the 2 behind us) have multiple drinks too. The worker said they will have to wait as well. This makes NO sense, no one has ever said that to us before. I managed 2 coffee shops that were also double sided drive throughs. One in Bel Air plaza and in American Canyon and we had MULTIPLE vehicles come through on a warm summer day to get multiple cold drinks. Not once did we ever tell a paying customer who had already been waiting, that they would now have to wait for alll the other cars that pulled in after them because they were getting 5 drinks. I don't know if her co worker called in sick, or maybe she was just scheduled alone. Either way this is horrible service. We left as what would be the point for us to sit there and wait for everyone else who drove in AFTER we did. I don't know if this is what Java Hut allows their employees to say but this was shocking to hear. They have amazing drinks and I know the morning staff is amazing and fast. Been coming to this place for years and well within the past year my coffee drinks been lacking and also came in today (04/10/15) as well and same thing...and my drinks not hard. So I don't know what the problem is love the place but I don't enjoy drinking burnt coffee or iced coffee drinks with a lot of coffee grinds. Hope they step up their game AGAIN! read more

I work in Yountville and the new Java Hut here is really the only place we busines owners and employees can grab a quick cup of coffee. The coffee is quite nice and the "Chini" thing as well. My issue is NOT the product, it's the food handling. The staff has apparently been taught to flip your cup over and place the lip of it on the counter, write your order on the bottom and then slide it - still lip down - over to the barrista. Even though the counters "appeared" to be clean, ALL counters are filthy in this type of environment....Money (I believe the health code requires employees to wash their hands after handling money and then handling supplies and food), spills, fingers and hands, and probably even employees sitting up there when it's slow. Even when you wipe it down, towels are FULL of bacteria, and frankly I like taking the lid off and sipping my coffee. There's a reason Starbucks writes your order on the side of the cup and slides it over sitting upright. If you're not willing to bend over and lick the counter yourself, don't put the rim of my cup on it. I also don't need the attitude I get when I ask them NOT to do that. I also don't think the "Open Air" straw arrangement is very sanitary, and actually wonder if this all isn't a violation of the health code. Ironic considering Yountville is a mecca for fine dining and high standards in that arena. Meanwhile, I won't be frequenting the place any more, or referring any visitors over there. If the policy changes I would be delighted to do both and to also amend/withdraw this crummy Yelp. read more
