My general dentist referred me to Dr Ryan Taylor for a deep pocket gum issue I had following a root…read morecanal on my molar. I was presented with several options, which included laser gum treatment with a filler of bone graft. After weighing pros and cons, I opted for extraction of the molar with an eventual implant. The decision to extract and implant was in my view, solving the problem for life....if there such a thing. Pre op and post op I was treated with care and concern. Dr Taylor is personable as is his wonderful staff. Every effort was put forth to make me comfortable and at ease. The extraction went great, I healed beautifully, and I didn't need the medication for pain relief, although I may be in the minority. After several months, it was time for the implant. This time I went in with even more ease knowing I was in good hands recalling how smoothly the extraction went. I was shown the implant, the procedure was explained, and I asked questions which may have sounded a bit silly, but they were answered with concern and respect. Following both procedures, the office made a phone call to my home that evening to ask how I was doing. I was happy to report that all was well and that after a few hours of rest I was up and about with my regular routine. The literature and post op instructions were easy to understand and follow. If there is such a thing.........I had a great experience undergoing an unpleasant procedure! I would recommend Dr Ryan Taylor and his staff to anyone without hesitation!

Our dentist sent us here for a periodontal procedure for my hubs. Dr Estrin was fantastic and…read moregentle. He took his time explaining things. At our follow up he was so personable and made us feel very comfortable. I would recommend him to anyone. However, the office staff ruins the experience. When I called to ask about an appt and insurance the woman on the phone acted like she had zero interest in assisting. When I asked if they could verify our insurance she said she would need to schedule us first and then she would call back "soon." I waited 2 weeks and ended up cancelling because no one called. My hub's periodontal situation took a turn and I had no choice but to call in and reschedule due to other periodontists having full schedules. When I explained why I cancelled, I was rushed through the process and my concerns were never spoken of. I also brought that up when we arrived at the office and was brushed off again. Your front office is your patient's first experience, and therefore shouldn't be taken lightly.

Great care, staff and surroundings! We are new patients and couldn't be happier after experiencing…read moremuch turnover with our prior provider. We take dental care seriously and really feel at home with everyone we've encountered at this office. We followed our hygienist (Kelly) who returned to this practice after a few year departure needing to be with an established long term provider with state of the art facilities and care.

I went to Dr. Dorciak, on Clark in Sarasota. Two and a half years ago. I paid up front for an upper…read moreand lower bridge to be made. It took 32 months, yes, two years and eight months and 40 trips back for one reason or another. They took many impressions. Each time I had to make another appointment to have the impression completed. And sometimes I had to return the same day and sometimes a week later. I had to keep returning for a color match. And then when the bridges were completed they either didn't fit, were too tight and or too loose and one time I couldn't take the upper bridge out and the tech almost couldn't get them out. The technicians, I was told, are specially trained to do the work that they were doing on me. I was told that it might be a good idea to use poly grip to keep them from rocking back and forth. I suggested that since I paId almost $4,000 they can make a bridge that does not rock back and forth. And there were a number of times when I was almost home and Dr. Dorciak called me to return to the office for another photo and color match. I went in crying that it was 11 months and I still haven't received my teeth. At one try on the tech worked very hard to put the bridge in and then couldn't get it out. At one trip back to the office the teeth wiggled. I was told by the tech, someone that hadn't seen me before, and wasn't aware that I've been coming to the office for fittings for many months that I should consider my decision to ask for a new set because they were very expensive. I explained that the teeth were one week old. Her face showed shock. This was months after the work started. After almost two years and 40 visits I received my uppers and lower Bridges. . I have to say I have had partials, bridges and dentures eve since I was 16 years old. So I'm aware of how the entire process should be. October, 2024 I received the finished product. A few moths later I needed an adjustment, then I went back for another adjustment. I was losing my patients and walked out angry with the dental staff. Now one year ago, which was 18 months after I got the bridges the two top teeth were separating from the base. I was informed that the cost is $175. per tooth plus the cost of the visit. They informed me that ware and tare happens. And i could not see Dr. Dorciak. The saddest experience was in May while eating a soft roll at a restaurant the bottom bridge broke in many pieces. I was lucky that I didn't choke. The metal and the teeth were in little pieces. I don't know how to post a picture. Because seeing is most definitely believing. The office will not let me see Dr. Dorciak. I sent them the photos of the many pieces of my not even three years old dentures. They said the teeth were three years old and they don't last forever. They still said I could not see the Dr. and the lab can repair the bottoms the cost will be between $700 and $1900. Repair??? You cannot repair the damaged bridge. if you read reviews please take this information that I am sharing with you and find another dentist. I will not give that practice another dime. I have a new bottom now from my NY dentist. There was one visit for the impression and the next visit to pick up the teeth. Thank you. Cathy wood. Sarasota
