Everytime I'm home I always make a point to see Jax! Nobody does lash lifts like her. I've tried other places in the past and they just never come out as good. Ive been doing lash extensions for about 5 years now and never cared much about lash lifts until I saw Jax's profile on Instagram. Immediately I was like "I have to take her course!" Her lifts are seriously the highest I've ever come across. I signed up for her private course in Orange County. When you want to be the best, you have to get trained by the best. I waited so long (out of our control) to be trained by Jax and it was definitely worth the wait! I did a Private 1:1 Training and it helped me elevate my business and technique so much. So... I was blessed enough to be selected as a lash lift model for one of Jax's legendary courses. I was prompted of my selection, what to expect, and even texted beforehand about my pre-care guidelines by her assistant a day in advance. She made sure I knew to not drink coffee, and to come with a bare face as to get the best results! From the moment I was booked, when I arrived, and when I left, Jax and her team was nothing short of amazing, thorough and informative. Long story short-- my lashes have NEVER looked better. I made sure to pick up the Keratin Serum (created by Jax herself), and it's absolutely AMAZING. Sitting in the chair & being able to observe her class in person.. I can say she provides so much value, intention & knowledge for each one of her clients and students. I do not have the skill or know how for this industry... but damn did I want to sign up for her next course after witnessing her education style and articulate technique in action! I love this place, the fact that was in Pacific City made it so fun for me when I arrived a tad bit too early. I browsed around and was then greeted by the welcoming receptionist. Toria was so sweet! I have been going to Jax for years and I am amazed every single time. I have naturally very straight eyelashes that grow downward, so I never thought it was possible for lifts to work on me but once jax works her magic, I have beautiful, curly, eye opening lashes that bring in the compliments left and right. LOVE Jax! She is VERY experienced and knowledgeable about her products and only uses the best. At first, I did check out other places and their prices, but she came highly recommended, and now I know why! The first time I came to her was for lash tint.. I wasn't quite ready for extensions yet because I was nervous for one, and 2, I loved my natural lashes and didn't feel the need to change that. But then I decided to get lasik, and was told I couldn't wear eye makeup for a week, and couldn't rub my eyes for at least 3 months. I have blonde lashes, and for those of you that have them as well, understand how important our mascara is! It was the perfect opportunity to start with lash extensions at that point. Jax answered every question or concern I had, gave me very detailed cleaning instructions, and was always available by text after my appointments if I needed anything. Not only is she super sweet, but truly takes care of her clients and individualizes their appointments to their needs and lash goals. I LOVE my lashes! I'm hooked. I started out with the hybrid, and then felt like I wanted more volume, while still looking professional. Jax understand what that meant for me and nailed it! I love them! I plan to continue getting extensions for a couple more months, at least, to grow my natural lashes out to be healthier. Jax has been taking care of my lashes for many months now. My lashes are naturally quite long but blonde and poked straight so left natural, I look like I have no lashes. The keratin lash lift and tint makes a huge difference- I literally look ready for the day when I wake up. I receive a lot of compliments! The process has also been gentle on my quite delicate lashes which were fried by lash extensions done elsewhere. My lashes now look good for many weeks, and I've never had a reaction. Jax is the most amazing, hard working, and one of the most sweetest, down to earth human beings I've ever met. I have monolid eyes so I'm very picky with how I get my lashes lifted! I admire Jax because she studied my eyes a worthwhile before getting to work. The last place I had my lashes done was very affordable but it was not worth the quality (oh my god, at all). Jax makes you feel homey, and the conversation we had about life made me feel like I have known Jax for a lifetime. I had an amazing group training with JAX this past summer in MIAMI I traveled all the way from Minneapolis Minnesota to take her training. 100% recommend taking her course she has so much experience with lash lift she is so knowledgeable and literally taught me 3 things! I always know I'm gonna get the best service with Jax! I had the honor of being her lash lift demo model for a class she was teaching & she makes it such a comfortable experience for the model as well as the students. Listening to her teach the class, you can tell she's really spent time mastering her craft. Even still, the results speak for themselves! I have been to several ladies for eyelash extensions. I am EXTREMELY picky. I truly thought that I would never find a person to give me the eyelash extensions that I wanted. Let me tell you, I was sooooooooo wrong. I found Jax. She is truly an artist. She listened to me, she repeated to me her understanding of what I wanted, and then she proceeded to tell me what our plan would be to repair my eyelashes and finally get the eyelashes I had always wanted. She described in detail the phases we would go through over the next 2 weeks to accomplish the lashes I wanted. She was right on. Exactly everything she said she could do, she did. Ladies, if you have not been over-the-top happy with current eye lash extension person, please try Jax. She is warm, loving, friendly and absolutely perfect to me. Thank you Jax! read more

I'm writing this review a month after I had the lift done because I wanted to see how the lift would wear throughout the month. The initial results of the lash lift were pretty good. Most of my lashes have fallen down at this point. The reason why I would have to give this place 3.5 stars was because I felt very uncomfortable throughout the process. I had opted for the regular keratin treatment but during the beginning she explained that it would be better for me to do the premium. I didn't comment since I was set on doing the regular lift. Later, she AGAIN told me it would be better for me to do the premium since my lashes would be significantly lifted compared to the regular. It made me feel that if I didn't get this premium lift my lashes would not be lifted... So I conceded and I got the premium done. Afterwards she informed me that if I wanted to keep the results I would HAVE to purchase the $40 lash serum that she sells. So i caved and purchased that as well. I felt that I was pushed into purchasing more and more things and in the end spent way more money than I originally planned on. Although I know that this is her business, I wish she wasn't so pushy on pushing more and more things on you. The environment made me feel very uncomfortable. She was also late to the appointment because she went to get her nails done in the same plaza. She did inform me a few minutes prior but I thought that was a little unprofessional. With all the five star reviews... I do not know why I had such a different experience. I do not think the lift was worth that much money and unfortunately, I do not think I will be returning. read more

If you're looking through Yelp aimlessly like I was, stop your search and come to Jax. She is truly the best in the business. This was my first time coming to the salon, and I was 15 minutes late bc I took the wrong freeway. She was totally understanding and it didn't effect how she treated me or my results at all. She is so funny and kind and made me feel completely at home. The results speak for themselves. The best lash lift I've ever gotten, and the tint just makes it that much better!! She even did my eyebrows while we were waiting for the dye to set it. Seriously guys, she's the best. After she finished, she helped me find a lash serum, hooked me up with keratin mascara to help preserve my lashes, and even referred me to a nurse for injectables I was interested in. The first time I met Jax, she advised me that my lashes were a bit sparse & that I should probably wait to do the lift until they grew back. She took the time to explain that if she did the lift my sparse eyelashes would be more noticeable and I probably would not be happy with the result. She even sent me the link to a product she recommended to help them grow. I was pleasantly surprised she would be so honest and didn't mind missing the appointment fee. There were a few things that lead to my review…read more The first is, when I got to my appointment, my technician was still working on someone (which is nbd). After a few minutes of waiting, the previous client left, and she had me immediately lie down on the same table. They didn't wipe down the table or use sanitation/disposable cloths, which kind of bothered me. I requested for a wispy lash look. Typically at my previous appointments at various lash extension salons, the technician would ask me detailed questions about my preferences, and ask me what length, curliness, and volume I like. I wasn't asked any questions, only told to show me a picture of lashes I wanted. I felt like the extension process was fine, was poked a few times. Finally I was disappointed at how fast my lashes fell off (~5 days), which was a bummer because I got them done to look nice for a bachelorette party coming up in a week. I felt like the appointment was fast (45-55minutes).

It just feels like you are getting pampered right when you walk into a well managed facility, with beautiful decor and professional service. I made the appointment online through their website. They followed up via text message up until appointment day. The whole procedure was done so effortlessly, I dozed off lol. The best part is waking up to a set of beautiful lashes. I got the mega fill. Since my lashes were foreign, we worked with what we could. They still came out beautiful! I think once the old lashes fall out, they will look even better. My lash artist advised me to get a new set if they don't fall out by next session. And I will definitely be back next time. The man up front also explained after care and upcoming appointments with me. He not only gave me lash brushes, but a protector in case I need to take a shower before 24 hours. It's always the little details I appreciate. Most importantly, the lashes look like high quality. Hopefully the retention will be good, but so far, I am loving it here!

If you've ever had top-notch lash extensions, you will probably be very disappointed with these…read more With my previous lash artist, my extensions looked and felt so natural that I could brush through them just like real lashes. There was no noticeable buildup of glue, and each extension was carefully applied to an individual natural lash. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. The extensions were applied with what felt like a very large amount of glue, creating noticeable clumps. Rather than delicately attaching each extension to an individual lash, they seemed to be laid on in heavier sections. The result was lashes that hung downward and looked limp, which I assume was partly due to the weight of the glue. Trying to brush through them was extremely unpleasant--it felt like brushing through a barbed-wire fence. Another issue was the placement. Very few lashes were applied toward the inner corners near the nose, leaving that area looking sparse and unfinished. Most of the extensions were concentrated toward the outer ends. My previous lash artist covered the entire lash line, creating a much fuller and more balanced look. The process itself was also concerning. Scotch tape was used to protect my lower lashes, which was honestly horrifying and not something I had experienced before. She had the strips taped to her arm to weaken the stickiness (I assume), then pulled each off and applied it to the lower lid, which is pretty gross considering it pulls skin cells off which are now taped to your EYE. Overall, if you're accustomed to high-quality, meticulous lash work, I would look elsewhere. If you're looking for something cheap and average, though, she probably won't disappoint.

On multiple occasions, before | was even able to put my name down or explain what service I was coming in for, I was told by Sue, the technician, that she had another appointment (once an eyelash appointment and another time a facial). Since there appears to be only one technician on site, 1 was left confused, as there was no follow-up regarding what service I was requesting, how long the wait time might be, or whether there was an option to return at a different time. The interaction felt rushed and unwelcoming, which came across as unprofessional. Even for a brief service like eyebrow threading, clear communication and basic customer courtesy are important. I value transparency and professionalism when choosing a business, and unfortunately that was lacking during my visits. I hope this feedback helps improve the overall customer experience. not very welcoming at all !After being turned away, I returned to my car to leave. While doing so, I noticed that another client who arrived after me was taken in for service. This was confusing and disappointing, as it contradicted the reason I had just been given.

Jax is a healer. I don't even think she even realizes how much! Her calm demeanor, her voice, the way she attentively listens without judgment. She just has this restorative aura that's difficult to explain unless you've been around. I have driven from Chino Hills to see Jax every two months for the past 5 years and I have to say, every experience with her has been an actual gift. When I first started to see her, I was going through major postpartum depression. Every time I left her studio, I instantly felt lifted. She really knows how to speak life into people, that's for sure! I will never forget how she even took time out of her day to check on me multiple times after each session just to see how I was doing. That meant so much to me. Fast forward five years and she's now a close friend I can't imagine my life without! My goodness, you'd think I was writing a review for my therapist haha. Okay now let's get to the main point. Lashes! It's obvious Jax is an incredibly talented artist, no one out there even comes close! I have moved from Miami, NYC, Colorado and all over California and must have tried a couple dozen girls. Jax's results are incomparable. I have tried a few of her students while I was out in the East coast and they are also great, because they've had such an amazing teacher! You can just feel how much she loves her work as soon as you step into her space. Her entire studio has been curated to cater and appeal to the senses. She has a zen aesthetic, warm beds, blankets, and always smells fantastic. The playlist is on point every time! I think what makes her even more special though, and what's amassed her such a cult following is that she is genuinely such a sweet and lovely human being. Reading reviews from her other clients and even her students allows me see that it's not just me who feels this way. She goes above and beyond to make everyone feel well taken care of and that's just something I've never had with any other service provider. I feel so lucky to have found her. I really think the world would be a much better place if everyone had a Jax in their lives! read more

Jax is so amazing!! She literally changed my life. Gosh, I hated curling my lashes and putting on mascara everyday. I hate mascara period. I've gotten a keratin lash lift, and brow shaping with her. I've never been happier with anyone. She's so sweet and funny and makes me feel so comfortable. My lash appointment with her is basically my therapy session too lol. I had a bad allergic rxn after two years of having lash extensions from another place. I was ready to give up and then I found Jax on Instagram and her work is unbelievable! It was super easy to reach her an schedule an appointment. I really love that the keratin lash lift is so much easier to maintain than extensions and just looks so natural and the best part is I can say these are MINE. Jax also recommended the keratin aftercare serum and it's really helped my lashes get healthier too! I am also using the growth serum she suggested and my lashes are even more to die for every time! Jax is for sure my go to lash and brow girl. Now I wouldn't ever go to anyone else! Also, I have gotten 4 lash lifts with Jax now, lashes still healthy as ever! In fact they're even healthier, thicker, and longer now even after getting back to back lash lifts because Jax really knows what she's talking about when she gives you tips on growing your lashes! Not fussing with the lash curler and mascara has allowed my lashes to repair from the damage and also damage from my previous extensions. So grateful for Jax. I recently got my first lash lift at LFT CLB, and while it was a bit pricier than the $75-$150 range I had seen elsewhere, the quality of the results I saw on Yelp convinced me to give it a try. Jax, my lash guru, did not disappoint. She was methodical and took her time to achieve the exact look I wanted. Jax is incredibly sweet and good-natured, with about a decade of experience that truly shows in her work. The salon is small but mighty, with a great aesthetic and calming, day-club-style music. The price of my lash lift was $185 plus tip. To be fully transparent, she was late to the appointment but made up for it with extra time at the end. Marcy is THE BEST! She makes my lashes look fabulous, I get so many compliments. The fact that we now have to wear masks, lashes and brows are the only beauty features showing, I'm all for investing in the best when it comes to beauty services. I was recently used as a model for one of Jax' training classes in Scottsdale. Her and her trainees were very professional and kind. I had the brow lamination and the keratin lash lift and let me tell you the results are awesome. I naturally have small eyes and short eyelashes, but this is a game changer. It looks like I have mascara on, and they are lifted way more than I could ever do my self at home with an eyelash curler. I would recommend Jax to anyone looking for either service. read more

Just got my keratin lash lift with Jax after a 5 month lag! From my photo, you can tell I've been a little harsh on my lashes lately, particularly with my eyelash curler, so lesson learned, but the lash lift itself looks so good. I've been seeing Jax for the last year or two and have gone to Amy several times as well. Both are amazing at lash lifts and I love that Jax is super flexible with scheduling. I've been coming to get my eyebrows done with Jax for almost 1 yr now. She is the best in the business. Gets them clean while still looking masculine. She always gets it right. Recently I pointed out to her I had eyelashes growing down that affect my vision. I didn't even know what a lash lift was but she told me about it and I was down.
