Everytime I'm home I always make a point to see Jax! Nobody does lash lifts like her. I've tried other places in the past and they just never come out as good. So... I was blessed enough to be selected as a lash lift model for one of Jax's legendary courses. I was prompted of my selection, what to expect, and even texted beforehand about my pre-care guidelines by her assistant a day in advance. She made sure I knew to not drink coffee, and to come with a bare face as to get the best results! From the moment I was booked, when I arrived, and when I left, Jax and her team was nothing short of amazing, thorough and informative. Long story short-- my lashes have NEVER looked better. I made sure to pick up the Keratin Serum (created by Jax herself), and it's absolutely AMAZING. Sitting in the chair & being able to observe her class in person.. I can say she provides so much value, intention & knowledge for each one of her clients and students. I do not have the skill or know how for this industry... but damn did I want to sign up for her next course after witnessing her education style and articulate technique in action! I love this place, the fact that was in Pacific City made it so fun for me when I arrived a tad bit too early. I browsed around and was then greeted by the welcoming receptionist. Toria was so sweet! This was my first ever lift & it was amazing!! I have rlly stubborn asian lashes especially with my right eye. My name is Gabrielle Luna and I own a Lash Extension and now Lash Lift Salon in Santa Barbara, California called Custom Built Lash Co. I wanted to expand my service menu from only extensions to lash lifts and brow laminations and I was referred to Jax from a friend and fellow lash artist. I took a private Mile High™ Lash Lifting course in Orange County with Jax. I'll be honest and say I didn't really know what to expect. I knew the training would be an investment for my business but never would I have thought that Jax would be so amazing even after our training was over. As far as the actual training, I spent a full day with her and I was able to learn lash theory, I got full kit and we had not one, but two models! The first model, she did a demonstration that I was able to take pictures, notes and videos while she explained what she was doing and why. The second model, I did the lift with her close supervision and very little guidance. I felt confident enough to do it this way just by watching her demo. Jax is such an amazing instructor and I am so very grateful to have trained with the best of the best. The training also wasn't strictly technique training. I learned so much about business, selling retail, setting prices, and making the most out of my products. I left with a training manual which is so nice to physically have at the salon as well as a full product list with links! Having her ongoing mentorship has been so wonderful. I really look up to her, she's an awesome teacher, amazing business woman AND mom. Seeing her work as much as she does and train other lash artists atound the world is so inspiring and it actually pushed me to get into Lash Extension training as well. This was my first time get my lashes done EVER. I'm one to be very pick my and after seeing other yelper's reviews, I took the chance of scheduling with Jax and I'm proud to say that I love my lashes! She told me were long (which I never knew cause they're always pointing straight down and even when I curl it it still looks short). It looks so natural!! Absolutely love getting my lashes lifted from Jax! She is so great! My lashes are just straight and never stays curled even when I try to curl them. But when I get them lifted from Jax, they stay curled. It looks natural and lasts me about 7 weeks which is pretty great! High recommend getting this service done by Jax. read more

Simply thrilled with the results of my first lash lift with Jax. The results are dramatic. I have very thick and coarse lashes and she had to spend time opening the cuticle. I posted my first pic from the first day and I wanted to wait until I could see the results post vacation where I was in the water daily to see how they hold up. AMAZING!! I went as a model to get my eyebrows and eyelashes done while Jax was teaching in Miami. My experience was nothing short of AMAZING. I have been seeing Jax for a lash lift and brow lamination for almost a year and could not be happier. I used to love getting lash extensions, but hated the upkeep and limitations with water. The last lift has been so perfect for my active lifestyle. I love how I always look awake and how much it brings our the natural length I have. My lashes are naturally super straight so having a nice lift and awesome volume has been amazing! I also have been loving the brow lamination to give my brows a fuller look. Jax is the best at creating a nice natural shape that is easy to maintain on your own between visits. I could not recommend her more. She's so laid back and easy to talk to, and if you aren't in the mood to talk she always has great music on in her studio. Definitely check her out she books up super fast!!! read more

I am absolutely stoked on the results and experience for my keratin lash lift + tint. I am writing this review three months after my initial service and let me tell you, my lashes were dreamy for a solid two months from the date of my appointment! I was interested to see how the lift would fare with me surfing 2-3x a week and the results definitely lasted a solid 8 weeks with no harm to my lashes. For this service I was lucky to be a model for Jax and one of her students. Jax is a great communicator and super kind along with being licensed and professional. As a licensed cosmetologist myself, it was really cool observing Jax and her student throughout the training operating with patients and precision. I was so hesitant on signing up for the mile high class since I been offering lash lifts for three years now. I was worried about going in and not learning something new. WELL I WAS WRONG. Jax is so talented and has so much knowledge when it comes to getting a mile high lift. There was not one thing that I didn't learn in taking this course. She went into detail on what I could be doing wrong when I wasn't getting great results in my lifts. If you are hesitant on signing up for the class due to thinking you won't learn something next or because of the price tag, I say go for it! It is so worth it. I went in for a lash lift service with Toria and the whole experience was great! Her space is located within Pacific City right across from the beach, the studio was so chic and the playlist was a vibe. I've gotten my lashes lifted before and the eye pads usually end up bothering me but she took the time to make sure I was completely comfortable the whole time. I love the lift since I have super straight lashes so now I can just put some mascara on without having to use the eyelash curler throughout the day. Where do I even begin! Jax is an ANGEL. I'm finally getting around to writing my review but I've coming to "Lash Beach" for about 3-4 months now. I have always been really nervous to get lash extensions but I finally made the decision after my LASIK eye surgery. I had to be extremely careful with my eyes so the thought of putting mascara (and having to rub it off) scared me. I wasn't allowed to rub my eyes post LASIK for at least 3 months. I searched online and found Jax! She made my 1st time experience so unbelievably amazing! She educated me on my lashes, what the procedure would consist of, how to take care of my natural lashes as well as the lash extensions. I have since fallen in LOVE with my lash extensions. They literally look so amazing and basically requires no other makeup!! (Plus all of my pictures look bomb with my lashes!) If you're ever in doubt, TRUST JAX. She is an expert at what she does. You can't get a better lash lift anywhere else. Jax is simply the best at what she does. So knowledgeable, attentive to detail, and caring about her clients. I don't know what kind of sorcery goes into giving my stick straight lashes a dramatic, lasting lift, but thank goodness Jax apparently does. Plus her keratin serum works wonders and has really strengthened my lashes. I've been coming to see Jax for about 3 years and she is AMAZING! Yes, her prices may be a bit higher than other places you may find, but I PROMISE she's worth it. This was my first time getting lash extensions and I am soooo happy with my results. My appointment was with Marcy, she was great and very professional. The salon was easy to find and beautiful inside. She kept the vibes cozy with a heated blanket and good music. I was comfortable and relaxed my entire experience. My lashes look absolutely amazing!! Jax Orange County made me obsessed with my lashes! Right off the bat, the space itself is beautifully decorated and so relaxing! It's in a very nice building in HB, so just walk right in & go to her suite! Marcy did my lashes and she was so sweet!! She asked me what type of lashes I was looking for & I honestly wasn't sure and asked her for what she thought looked best on me. I ended up getting a classic set & think she absolutely nailed it & they turned out beautiful! The entire process took about 2 & a half hours and I got so relaxed I think I fell asleep at one point. Jax is a healer. I don't even think she even realizes how much! Her calm demeanor, her voice, the way she attentively listens without judgment. She just has this restorative aura that's difficult to explain unless you've been around. I have driven from Chino Hills to see Jax every two months for the past 5 years and I have to say, every experience with her has been an actual gift. When I first started to see her, I was going through major postpartum depression. Every time I left her studio, I instantly felt lifted. She really knows how to speak life into people, that's for sure! I will never forget how she even took time out of her day to check on me multiple times after each session just to see how I was doing. That meant so much to me. Fast forward five years and she's now a close friend I can't imagine my life without! My goodness, you'd think I was writing a review for my therapist haha. Okay now let's get to the main point. Lashes! It's obvious Jax is an incredibly talented artist, no one out there even comes close! I have moved from Miami, NYC, Colorado and all over California and must have tried a couple dozen girls. Jax's results are incomparable. I have tried a few of her students while I was out in the East coast and they are also great, because they've had such an amazing teacher! You can just feel how much she loves her work as soon as you step into her space. Her entire studio has been curated to cater and appeal to the senses. She has a zen aesthetic, warm beds, blankets, and always smells fantastic. The playlist is on point every time! I think what makes her even more special though, and what's amassed her such a cult following is that she is genuinely such a sweet and lovely human being. Jax is so amazing!! She literally changed my life. Gosh, I hated curling my lashes and putting on mascara everyday. I hate mascara period. I've gotten a keratin lash lift, and brow shaping with her. I had a bad allergic rxn after two years of having lash extensions from another place. I was ready to give up and then I found Jax on Instagram and her work is unbelievable! It was super easy to reach her an schedule an appointment. I really love that the keratin lash lift is so much easier to maintain than extensions and just looks so natural and the best part is I can say these are MINE. Jax also recommended the keratin aftercare serum and it's really helped my lashes get healthier too! I am also using the growth serum she suggested and my lashes are even more to die for every time! I was recently used as a model for one of Jax' training classes in Scottsdale. Her and her trainees were very professional and kind. I had the brow lamination and the keratin lash lift and let me tell you the results are awesome. I naturally have small eyes and short eyelashes, but this is a game changer. From my photo, you can tell I've been a little harsh on my lashes lately, particularly with my eyelash curler, so lesson learned, but the lash lift itself looks so good. I've been seeing Jax for the last year or two and have gone to Amy several times as well. Both are amazing at lash lifts and I love that Jax is super flexible with scheduling. I've been coming to get my eyebrows done with Jax for almost 1 yr now. She is the best in the business. Gets them clean while still looking masculine. She always gets it right. Recently I pointed out to her I had eyelashes growing down that affect my vision. I didn't even know what a lash lift was but she told me about it and I was down. Next thing u know I can see so much better now. I think this is something I will do regularly. Didn't know this was possible, thank u Jax! read more

Wow! Jax is absolutely A-mazing!! She is so sweet, so precise, so knowledgeable, so talented and she's a fabulous teacher! WOW! My lashes have never looked so long! Jax Orange County was recommended to me by one of my good friends and I was lucky enough to get to work with her and her students while she was in Scottsdale. Not only is she the nicest human, but her attention to detail and results were truly amazing. I went to the Portland class & got a lash lift, tint, and brow lamination and it turned out so amazing! Jax is so professional & an amazing teacher, always making sure each step is carefully done.
