I brought it to the so-called manager and he instructed me to wait 3 days. So I waited and returned on the 3rd day, but the so-called manager wasn't there but the little weed smoker that initially performed the work was there. The little weed smoker indicated that he will clean the window since it's dry, but after leaving a STRONG ODOR of Marijuana in my car, and leaving window cleaner on my passenger side floor My window were still messed up. Little weed smoker told me to bring my car back when the other guy is here! The bottom line is the place at 2814 Main st. Hartford should be PERMANENTLY CLOSED, or it should be replaced with adults with a professional work ethic, and with people that will value their customers. Not a big deal I thought, he just cares about his customers. We had originally decided to meet in december to have my television calibrated, but something personal came up on his end and he had to cancel. Not a big deal since I was having some financial troubles and didn't mind waiting until things got better. I told him I would get ahold of him when they did, likely in the spring. I contacted him in the spring to let him know I was still interested, but didn't have the money then and I would contact him later on when I did. A couple months later in the summer I emailed him to schedule an appointment for the fall. When I did this, he then quoted me a much higher price than he did in the winter, and said he needed to be paid all of it up front. I did not have the money to do this, so I said "Unfortunately I don't think I can afford it right now. I'm heading back to school in September, and thought I would have the extra funds but it's looking like I won't. I don't mean to waste your time. I hope you will be available in a couple of years when I finish and am working in a field where I will be more financially stable." His response was "I appreciate your honesty, but the fact is you did cause me to waste valuable time and effort responding to your on and off again quest to get your TVs calibrated. That's why I insisted on a pre-appointment deposit because I was very concerned about you changing your mind. I do wish you well and hope that you achieve financial stability." I found this reply to be rather rude and hypocritical considering he was the one who initially cancelled our original meeting, and costed me 100 dollars on my phone bill. I let him know this, and he told me to grow up. So yeah. Those are the facts.

We get Into it to enjoy music right? So John had my girlfriend and I sit with him for over and hour demoing amps and speakers. I ended up buying a Rega Elex MK4 which was a massive upgrade for me and honestly a big investment, but they really did not push me to spend one dollar more than I could afford. While we were there I told him what bookshelf speakers I had and he connected some similarly sized bookshelves with a pair of REL subs and I was just completely enamored with the suddenly gutsy sound. Fast forward a couple of months and I went to buy the REL, which has totally exceeded my expectations.
