We were supposed to receive the salt since we got the lime mix. Juan doesn't do contracts it's all done by text. I would suggest he should do a contract to cover himself and that way everything is in writing and no one is disappointed. read more

JC arrived on time to set up machine and get it going an hour and a half before party began. Communication was very good via phone calls or texting. Machine worked perfect! JC suggested how much tequila to add to each container (2 liters for each flavor?) and some guests thought it was a bit strong so maybe you should add less tequila but I and many other guests thought they were PERFECT! :) I recommend using bottled water to fill up machine not tap and thankfully had plenty of gallons of it at home. I highly recommend and will most defiantly use them again! read more

We hire the Karaoke service for our Halloween party, was very punctual rasonable price $ 200 fee +35 for transportation they drop off saturday morning and pick up monday morning and they install all system with bluetooth to play our music, and speakers' tv with stand' 2 microphone and 2 books with 4000 songs, my whole family have a wonderful time singing dancing, and for sure! Poor communication and customer service from the owner. The delivery people were very nice and helpful. The machines worked fine. I ordered two lime margarita mixes and told them the machine was going upstairs. The day before the party, the owner texted me to confirm one strawberry and one lime. I corrected him via text and again said two lime, no strawberry as I'm allergic! The delivery people showed up the day of the party and said they couldn't carry the heavy machine upstairs. The owner called and said they could do it for $50. Fine. I had 65 people arriving in 4 hours so I was willing to pay. They said if I provided the water and tequila they would set it up and get it started for me. I very much appreciated that because I was in full party prep mode and had a lot to do. My husband brought them the tequila and water and they did it. About an hour later, I went out there to set up the rest of the bar and saw there was one strawberry and one lime!!! I freakin' could not believe it! I called Juan and he actually started blaming me and the delivery people. He argued that because my husband was there giving them water that he should have stopped them from doing the strawberry. Now, I'm the one who ordered it. I'm the customer. I'm the one paying. My husband wasn't involved in the least - he just gave them water and tequila. He doesn't know what I ordered. He didn't know if that was strawberry, raspberry, or pink lemonade for goodness sake! Then Juan asked why did the delivery people start it for me. I'm like, I don't know. That's your internal company issue, not mine. So he said he would bring me a lime mix in about an hour, which he did. Luckily, we had an extra bottle of tequila! I asked him to give me credit for the bottle we wasted in the strawberry which had to be thrown out. Again, he started giving me a hard time. He was quite antagonistic to the point where one of my guests, felt the need to walk over and stand beside me because he was concerned about this man's tone of voice. I finally said to Juan, why are you mad at me? I'm your customer and I haven't done anything wrong. It was so stressful and upsetting when I should be having fun getting ready for my birthday party! I advise you to use another vendor. I had two other vendors at the party, one for the photo booth (EZ Photo) and Dad's Casino. They, by contrast, were amazing and couldn't do enough to be helpful, professional and friendly. read more

Karaoke did not even work! They came to 'fix' it once but it didn't work at all during the event. They ignored our calls and messages and we were stuck with a broken machine all night that was useless. No apologies and no refund. And they were extremely rude about the whole thing. One mic didn't even work, the screen keps going out, lyrics didn't show up on the screen...really ruined the whole event as nobody could even use it. I wanted a margarita machine for my 30th bday tropical themed party but after a bad experience with Margarita Man I was able to find Juan on yelp and book him last minute. Juan was very responsive and professional and had the best rates in town. The margarita machines were a huge hit at the party!! We rented a Soft Serve Ice Cream Machine from JC Margaritas for a 150 people party (75 children!). We had many children and this was a fun dessert. The machine (handle to get ice cream out) broke after 10 minutes. Machine was different from other machines from different vendors we used. The other machines are metal and this one was all plastic. The moment the machine broke I called Juan. He said that he could not do anything about this. Without talking to me he sent somebody out to look at the machine. The machine could not be fixed. The person who came out never asked for me and left without talking to me or my wife. I assume he spoke to the servers of the venue and Juan stated that they could not take the machine away at that time. This makes sense, since the machine was in the back of the building and needed to be emptied first. We do not want to even pay more attention to this broken machine. The day after the party I contacted Juan and expressed my disappointment that the machine was broken and that there was no solution during our event to get this replaced or fixed. He told me that he would get back to me on a (partial) refund of the rental fee. I texted him twice the week after and called him today. He does not want to refund because his employee was not allowed to take the machine out of the venue during the party. He also stated that he could not refund for the broken machine because the servers of the venue scooped some soft serve ice cream out of the machine for a few disappointed kids.... My experience is that I paid a full rental fee for a machine that broke after 10 minutes and could not be fixed or replaced. I think the quality of the equipment is poor and the service is disappointing. I would not recommend JC Margaritas and Party Rental. read more

Just rented karaoke for teens birthday party. It was a blast. Everyone loved it. JC was extremely professional and punctual. He is prompt in responding to calls before getting his business and most importantly after. Once he set up the equipment at home and left. I had an issue to restart something ( I forgot something), I called him up, he walked me through it even with so much noise in the background, he didn't lose patience nor gave up.
