I thought I was doing business with a company that had integrity but unfortunately not. I have paid for a Spring / Fall service and then sold my home prior to having the Fall service completed. My new home will not be built for a few months and JC Mechanical refused to carry over my Fall service to the following spring on my new home. I called to have my AC checked. I suspected a free on leaks. Technician came out without a device similar to an inficon and claimed that he was going to pour something down the line and come back 7 days later for close to 400 and I needed to pay a service fee of 110. Other companies charge far less to diagnose and do it then. They need to do better. read more

I'm new to Lascassas and about a month ago my unit quit cooling. I asked for recommendations and about 25 people recommended JC Mechanical. I scheduled and Jeremy came out and fixed my unit. Showed me the part that needed to be replaced. My air works great! Since I wasn't sure when my ducts had been cleaned, I scheduled it for 9am on the 10th. His crew arrived at 8:55 and went to work. They explained what they were doing, wore shoe covers, and answered my questions . Showed me pictures of how bad it was. (Previous owners had insulation reversed under the house so insurance got sucked into system). It took them a little over an hour to finish. They swept up what little dust escaped. I am VERY pleased and plan to call them again next year to clean. read more

Initial quote on 6/29/22 to install 2 vents and ductwork to my sunroom. Original install date was 7/6 but was told they overbooked. Rescheduled for today, Fri 7/8. Crew showed up this morning, one guy with lit cigarette come to my door smoking the whole time even while I was near them to show the sunroom area. Then wood and lattice work being pried up breaking off in pieces. I suggested sawing but they wouldn't. Was told everything would be taken off and put back on the way it was when technician came out to give quote. Quote price was for complete install/labor. Called owner. Owner came out and said he's not responsible if wood and lattice gets destroyed. The most concerning thing was what he said after I told him about the guy smoking of which I am allergic to. Owner of this business asked me "Was no smoking written in the contract?" Are you kidding me? This is supposed to be a professional 5 star rated company highly recommended! He then pulled his crew and left with my board cracked and the guy made sure he threw his cigarette butt by my mailbox for spite before they left. There can't be any way they have 5 stars with this kind of service without having bad reviews removed some how.. I do NOT recommend this company to anyone for lack of professionalism from the owner and his crew. I also have this on my Ring cameras for proof. Horrible experience! read more

I've been using JC Mechanical exclusively for my HVAC needs since 2015, I believe. His first visit, he impressed me with his understanding that sometimes a person can't afford bells and whistles, so he got my equipment working again for a more-than-reasonable price. He didn't try to oversell me, didn't try to scare me, but did set me up with expectations for my unit. When it could no longer be repaired 3 years later, he replaced my equipment for a reasonable cost, again keeping in mind what my family could *actually* afford, and did so with grace so that I didn't have to keep explaining what was possible in our situation. It's difficult to find someone in this industry that's honest, hardworking, kind, and professional, but you've found him here. I'll never use another HVAC company and recommend JC Mechanical every chance I get. read more

Unfortunately, I worked a 12h night shift and came home to discover my central unit was not working in 30+ degree weather and my home was was cold indoors. Thankfully, my neighbor has a license to fix air conditioners only to be able to dabble with his. He took a look at mine and discovered the inducer fan would not spin due to rust and breakage in the squirrel cage. It is Saturday and my neighbor drove me to Nashville to pick up a part. It was the only place open, had my part and would close at noon. We spent more time on I-24 than needed due to road construction and had to return back home in the same traffic jam. It is nearly noon and I haven't slept yet, had to work another 12h shift and I was nearly in tears. My neighbor saw that, although the piece would fit, the inducer had an extra wire he did not know what to do with. He suggested I start calling central heating and air businesses. We started at the top of the search page and worked our way down. Some places would not touch a part already purchased (most likely to charge you more), another stated it was the wrong part without even looking at it (again, to charge more), and all were so busy that it would be several days before someone could fix the unit. My neighbor suggested I get floor heaters to place around the house while I worked. I have dogs and that is out of the question. So, I tried one more place...JC Mechanical Heating & Air and spoke with Jeremy. He, too, was not available; however, he took time out of his busy schedule to educate my neighbor as to how to connect the wires to the inducer. This was about a ten to fifteen minute conversation. The installment work. I was so flabbergasted that Jeremy was kind enough to assist us when he did not have to do so and he did it out of the kindness of his heart. There was no motive to his actions. Of course, I called him back to thank and praise him. So, if I have any more difficulty in the future, I will surely contacted Jeremy at JC Mechanical for my central unit needs. I just wanted to write a review on on a Air Conditioning HVAC company named JC Mechanical Heating & Air Conditioning. (615) 440-6687 http://jc-mechanical.com/ First and foremost I can't believe how scary it is to buy a new A/C system. It literally felt worst than buying a used car because I had no clue who to call or who I could trust. Now several months ago I posted right here in Hip Smyrna for help to find a good AC company and one of you recommend JC Mechanical among others. I had 4 different companies give me a quote. His was the third least expensive. The cheapest company I could not find creditability any where online and that made me nervous. What I liked about his company are the following: 1. Hell sells and installs York units which are awesome. If you go on Yorks website and type in a zip code for installer near your area and your in the Rutherford county area his company pops up as a trusted York installer/seller which means if York trust him to get the job down then he must have skills. 2. He is a family man as you can see below. His wife maintains the office line and when I called at 8:30pm she still answered the phone even though I think I could tell she was putting the baby to bed...lol which didn't bother me because I own a small business ( Donelson Massage Center) so I respect small business owners and how the family gets involved. She was extremely nice to me. 3. The owner name is Jeremy. Every Time we talked on phone he addressed me by Mr.Rubio and used phrases like "yes sir" "No sir" and had attitude of gratitude.This man was clearly raised well and is a good example on how to conduct business! 4. I'm super busy and I didn't even have to meet him which I did briefly meet his crew and they were strong young men who talked with respect as well. Once the job was done I simply mailed him a check which was great.They installed 2 units at a good price and had me up and running in no time. Jeremy even came back two times to make sure everything was running good. If you live in the Rutherford County area I recommend JC Mechanical for you AC/Heat needs!
