Despite the positive reviews, I had a horrible experience and will not be returning. I sent one of my staff to pick up a specific toilet for commerical purposes. They offered a toilet that we didn't want. We specifically requested a different type of toilet. We made it clear that the toilet has to meet certain requirements because it is for commercial purposes. The JC Plumbing staff member (Trevor) said they didn't have it in stock. Rather, he told us to wait several days and that we could pick it when it arrived. Not a problem. After waiting a few days, I have the toilet picked up and dropped off at the bathroom site for installation. My contractor then installs the toilet. I go to inspect the work, and what do I see? The same exact toilet we said we didn't want. He already threw away the box. Now I'm stuck with the wrong toilet and it cannot be used in our commercial unit. Moral of the story - double check all their work. Make sure when you're picking up from them that you inspect everything. Don't put trust in their word, no matter how confident they seem or how much they may assure you verbally. read more

The way this business is run is seriously how all businesses should be run. I came in needing an adapter for a replacement kitchen faucet handle from a hose pull out setup because the replacement handle didn't fit the previous hookup from the hose. And my mistake for not getting this nice gentleman's name but he Felt like the owner, the way he treated me. He really took the time to try to figure out how to fix this since all I brought in was the handle itself. Tried many different things and even pulled out different hoses and handles to see how the attachment would fit or not and ultimately even recommended that I don't spend a lot of extra money to try to fix it since it was just a rental unit and simply try changing the O Ring on it. I asked to pay for it but he said it would be more trouble to ring it up and it is only $.20 I was completely floored by how nice he was and the kind of integrity that you had and doing business and actually trying to help people instead of just sell people things as he could have easily just tried to upsell me and have me buy a bunch of stuff. I live 45 minutes away and was here visiting clients for work but I would consider driving all this way just to do business with a store with this kind of integrity "It was only 2 dimes" but it made my day and it was definitely a pay it forward kind of gesture to me! read more

Cole IS THE MAN!!! We recently ran into a minor plumbing issue that turned into a very expensive plumbing problem. We have a super custom master suite bath. The original installation (house came this way) was done in a hokey way which is now causing us serious expenses to repair. The original install for some reason the plumbers cut away the entire counter framing under so the fixture have nothing to "hold on to" Due to this reason we can't use standard faucets that you can buy at Lowe's or HD. We were forced to buy $900+ for two bathroom faucet fixtures . Fortunately JC had the type of fixtures we need with the extra long thread - however these are pricey. I was able to get what i wanted without compromise and we are scheduled with a reliable plumber to install next week. I highly recommend JC. They were informative , honest, got our parts in within 3-4 business days and Cole was just awesome . He answered all of our questions & gave us some really great advice . This will be our new go to for all our plumbing fixtures/hardware. read more

I'm new to making my own repairs on things and required a fix on my fifth wheel's complete hose connect unit. After two stops and several calls to other RV companies, I found an RV repair company which sold me the unit with assurances from the guy and on the item package that I had the correct one for my RV make and model. I happily headed home relieved my RV drought would soon be solved. Um, not so much. Score? Me-0, trailer-1. Upon a recommendation from a trusted friend I headed back out to JC Plumbing n Things; literally around the corner from where I bought the hose connect unit and another hour+ round trip drive to solve this problem. JC Plumbing n Things softened the blow and my frustration. Not only was the staff incredibly helpful, it seemed like they actually enjoy their jobs helping people solve the pickle they've gotten into. The place was busy, the phones were ringing off the hook, but hey, I was in need of a functioning toilet in the trailer. Whatcha gonna do, right? While waiting my turn, I perused many unique and hard-to-find parts and pieces, meanwhile overhearing other customers being helped. Okay fine, I was listening in on others' convos but this gave me a good sense of the patient, nonjudgmental & great service offered here. When it was my turn, less than two minutes later I was checking out at the register with the needed adapter. They know their stuff! Score? Me-1, Trailer-1. My wife went here to purchase a rain shower head, rough-in valve, and wand which we needed for a bath remodel as the one we originally ordered was delayed. She was sold a Santec matte black shower kit that was $799 while I was at work. This same product can be found online for 3x LESS. I understand the need for margin and I always like to support local but this is extreme. Plus she inadvertently bought a non-rain shower head or was given the wrong box - so now we have to buy another as it is way too small and looks comical on the ceiling. Spent weeks looking for a new shower setup for our bathroom remodel that included a fixed shower head and a sidebar with a nice handheld, with the right valves/pipes, faceplate (Complete "package") We were now on a time crunch, so our contractor suggested JC Plumbing N Things in TO - 30 miles from where we live. We are glad he did and relieved that our second trip there was better than the first. Our first experience there was not the best - the individual who "helped" us was not at all welcoming and seemed to be bothered if we asked questions. We left with basic knowledge of their "shower package" and approx on what the cost would be. We tried a few other places and ended up going back to JC's 2 days later. It was very busy and Tanner was finally the one to help us out this time and was super helpful and knowledgeable. Even though we did have to compromised on the style we were originally looking for, we were able to purchase a higher quality product at a reasonable price that we are very happy with -win/win!! Quick note-we had to exchange the fixed shower head pipe connector that came in the "package" for a shorter one but they were happy to accomodate our need. Wished we known about this place earlier as they have an amazing display of excellent quality kitchen/bathroom fixtures, toilets etc., in addition to plumbing supplies. I needed something seemingly simple. A new flapper for a toilet. The plumber is hired stretched a korkey and it didn't fit quite right leading to leaking. I tried Home Depot and the staff recommended another that ended up not working. Then a recommendation from DIY hardware didn't work. Finally tried where I should have started. JC. I had a photo of the problem and they were able to look up the model. They had a thick catalogue of options and had the replacement in stock. Excellent service! read more

The best plumbing suppy parts to go to. All are friendly and very knowledgeable. I went there 3 times for parts. Each time I asked for parts, I needed to reinstall my insert dog dish. I still could not get it, my brain. I finally brought in the insert, and they were very helpful. I did lose a part, and they suggested a better part. I am so grateful for their help. They have signs hanging all over the wall threatening you that if you don't behave like an angel in their store you won't get service etc. - a real joke.
