Joseph came in and finished installing the carpet in one day (exceptional job as my initial review states). However my bathroom floor tile contractor was lagging behind. Therefore a 1/4 inch gap still remained, which Joseph spoke to my contractor about and coached him on what to do. Anyhow, Joseph agreed to come back in the future to "tuck in the carpet underneath the tile" to make it nice and seamless with a super smooth transition. Seriously, he did a phenomenal job and totally made the transition smooth, looks seamless, and feels great! No need for a transition piece... it looks amazing! I'm so happy! Roma did a great job helping us with several projects. First, we wanted to replace all our kitchen cabinet hinges with soft closed. Roma took an extra trip to our home to look at the current hinges so that he can research and order the replacement hinges that will fit well without requiring further alterations on the cabinet door. We were very satisfied with this project, immediately booked him for two additional projects to repair and repaint some areas of interior walls and to replace all of our under-cabinet lights of various sizes. We had a clogged downspout that we needed help cleaning, so we hired KST Handyman through Yelp…read more Alexei came with another person George to help out with the job. They were very nice, friendly, and professional. Their English was not that great (by their own admission) so they often used Google Translate on their phone to translate, which actually worked a lot better than I had expected. We were able to communicate with them just fine. They mentioned they were from Russia so if you can speak Russian that would be great. They wanted to connect their pressure washer to our hose to pressure wash the clogged gutters, but our hose recently broke and thus we didn't have one, so they went out to Home Depot to purchase one for the job. They also got on the roof to manually scoop out a lot of the debris in the gutters. To fix the clogged downspout they removed the gutter from the wall and emptied them and pressure sprayed the inside of the gutter to clear them out. The gutters looked pretty good after they cleaned everything out. They also readjusted the gutter to fit into the French drain better (it was misaligned from the previous job from another contractor). We would be happy to call them up again if we had any more house jobs that needed to be done!

We hired ESS again for this project. I really appreciated their care and attention to details to help make everything look just right--from matching paint color to helping decide where to place the new lights. They also repaired some kitchen cabinet trim and drawers as I requested. Also, like before, they went above and beyond when they found a faucet and garbage disposal in the island sink that needed fixing, and just fixed it. Again, great job!
