The only frustration was that many items in the XS section were mixed with M, L, and other sizes, making it a little harder to shop efficiently. The associates at the register were friendly and professional, and they listened when I shared feedback about the loud music in the fitting rooms. I wandered around thinking nothing was calling my name...until BAM! the Dainty Mary Jane Converse caught my eye! Total love at first sight moment! Sadly they only had a size 9 and I'm a size 9.5 girlie. I tried the size 9 but there wasn't enough for any wiggle room! Even my toes said "Girl, absolutely not!" I asked the friendly and helpful staff member for a 9.5 or a 10 however this particular shoe only run in full sizes. They didn't find any in stock but he found them on their online website and offered to order them for me and the price was the same sale price! I was excited! And then it gets better! I saw online they had another color and I asked that I wanted to order the other pair too! The price was also on sale! SCORE! I asked the kind staff member to ship the merch to the store since my apartment building is always locked and it's such a stressful situation to try to catch the delivery person, it's almost an Olympic sport! Meanwhile I spotted a cute brown pair of New Balance sneakers but I didn't see them in my size. I searched high, low, left, right and NOTHING! I asked one of the kind and friendly staff members if somehow he might find a pair in my size! Then suddenly he shows up with a pair in my size like he pulled them out of a hidden shoe portal! I don't know how he did it but I wasn't questioning the process! While trying on the NB sneakers the same staff member brought me a pair of cream colored Brooks sneakers in my size! He told me they're close as it gets to the Hoka sneakers in terms of comfort and quality. And honestly he wasn't lying , they felt amazing! Even my husband caught the shoe buying bug that he got a pair of Crocs! He totally love them! Did I buy more shoes than I needed? Absolutely! Do I regret it? NAH! Not even a little! He properly sized me for a pair of Red Wing work boots and took the time to explain the different options available based on the type of work I do. He made thoughtful recommendations and ultimately helped me find a pair that I absolutely love. It was clear that he genuinely wanted to make sure I left with the right boots, not just make a sale. Elijah also assisted me during my visit and was equally kind, professional, and helpful. Both of them made me feel welcome and valued as a customer. went in sat aug 22 . been buying safety shoes from here last 4 years. have never had any problems…read morehere at all . customer service has always been great. not all locations have been positive . have bought redwings far and wide from san fernando valley wilmington long beach anaheim orange have had good and bad last 40 years say over 35 pairs of boots over this time . mostly good. this store is small and doesnt always have everything on hand but they can order and call u when ready. i keep coming back here because the sales people are good and patient friendly also. nobody wants to show up and be talked to like we are idiots or dont know what we are talking about . i have a pma work voucher every year and come to brea store will continue to purchace here unless i get bad service . so far brea is the best . long beach a close second. oh the leather belts here are the best boggt my 2nd one . cheers
