Just got a pedicure which is a little high at $24.00. But I get this done once a Month as a treat to my self after working in catering kitchens all month. First off did not like that I was in a seat for 10 minutes waiting while another woman customer walks in and she gets started before me. Bad service right off the start. Just because I am a guy does not mean I don't know the difference between a bad and good manicure. I asked to cut the nails short which did not and now I have to cut them shorter myself now. Also my cuticles are still on my toes so now I have to do that as well. I would worry more about service than asking me for my name and phone number. Wasted money on this service for me. Worst nail experience I've ever had. My normal place was booked and I needed a last minute fill and repair. not one single nail matches. Shape, Thickness of acrylic, design, acrylic has bubbles and discoloration under the gel, literally every finger is bleeding, the fill has gaps, she kept dropping the instruments on the floor, OVERPRICED AND TOOK 2 HOURS. This photo is my nails a full week after I got them done. I've been getting gel nails for about a decade. Hands down (pun unintended) this place does the absolute best job. The services are your basic (but good) manis and pedis but for some magical reason they seem to stay looking fresher way longer than any place I've ever been to. You can manage to hold on to a gel mani for a solid 3 weeks- with them looking basically perfect which is pretty amazing in my book. I went here on a whim after work one day because it's in the 'hood and has good reviews. Overall it was OKAY. Everyone was very nice, my toes look lovely, and they were able to take me in right away, but there were some negatives that balance out those positives. Those negatives... My nail technician poked me so hard while cleaning my nails I thought she drew blood. Then, her phone rang loudly and she answered it and proceeded to do my nails while she talked on the phone for a minute or so. My foot/calf massage was short (though pretty great) and the creme she used was so disgustingly oily I couldn't wait to get it off me when I went home. Looking back on it now I think she just forgot to wipe it off... When checking out, I realized they charge a flat $2 fee when using a card instead of paying with cash. So, that's also kind of meh too. Not terrible. Not great. Pretty okay. read more

Couldn't be happier with this nail salon! Came in at around 6:10 for a full set + gel, and was taken immediately ( I called before hand and made an appointment). I'm pretty sure it was Michelle who did my nails. She paid a lot of attention to detail even though they closed at 7. She did not try and rush through the job and she stayed way later than she needed to in order to make sure my nails looked perfect, and she accomplished that! read more

The first time I came here my experience went well. I just got a full set of acrylics for $45... I love the colors and options available for nails. My acrylics were evenly shaped and very clean. I came in for a second time for a filling and somehow i was charged $50 ! I've never been to a place where my filling is more expensive than a full set. After the filling, my cuticles and the skin around my nails were stinging for the next 4 days... there is also alot of glue on the under part of the acrylic that was not was not shaved off. Jeanny is always trying to accommodate the best she can! I come here for gel manicures and pedicures and I've been about 5 times since moving to the neighborhood. One gel manicure I got done didn't last and was peeling at the edges after less than a week and they happily squeezed me in and fixed them at no cost. Every other time, my gel manicures have been long lasting and well done. They last 3-4 weeks every time. Love Jeanny's talkative nature and say she runs things! Had a wonderful experience. As soon as I was sat down, one of the ladies provided me with bottled water. Joanne who did my manicure was very gentle and very detailed. She carefully filed my nails and pushed and cleaned my cuticles. Tracy who did my pedicure was very good, too. Her attention to details is outstanding. My big toes were hurting and she was able to ease the pain by carefully taking off some overgrown dead skin. Some salon would immediately cut off nails from the side, which is not very good... But she was able to identify that I only have overgrown dead skin. I got their deluxe pedi, and her foot/leg massage was really great. She asked how much pressure I want, which other salons don't do. And finally, I believe it was the owner, Jeanny. She came over and brought over some supplies for the salon. She came in and greeted everyone with a big smile. I went here without reading any reviews or knowing anything about this place. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. The manicurist I got was super sweet. I got a gel manicure for $25. After she finished my nails, she noticed that there was a bump on one of my nails so she filed out the bump and repainted my nail. She was very meticulous and made sure all of my nails were painted carefully and thoroughly. The reason I gave it a 4 was because someone was being reprimanded right next to me. I think she was a new employee and she made a mistake, but instead of pulling her aside and talking to her in private, she was being reprimanded in front of all of the customers and employees. Decided to try this place out for a mani/pedi. Will not be returning. Everything that turned me off: - pedicure took 1.5 hours - I literally had to mention this (as much as I didn't want to) and get an estimate for manicure because I didn't have another 1.5 hours just for mani. (2.5 - 3 hours for a mani/pedi is just ridiculous.) - they said mani would take 20-25 minutes - to meet that estimate, another lady come over to help - both ladies were now rushed, trying to get me out of there in time - the manicure was not great - nails filed unevenly, cuticles not cleaned up, sloppy polish - no extra nail dry (fan or light) offered to help dry nails - had regular polish, btw, not gel. regardless, usually there is something to help the nails dry. re: pedicure - ok pedicure, sloppy polish re: manicure - came home, took off polish, and re-doing the entire thing myself - filing, cuticles, polish. should've left after the 90 minute pedicure. wasted money on mani afterwards. Disappointed with this place because it looks like the other reviews are really good, which is why I tried them in the first place. Some pros: place is nice and clean. good pedicure chairs. I have been going to Jeanny for 3 years now and she is simply the best at acrylic nails. I get gel over acrylic and I can go as long as 4 weeks with out a chip or crack. Her nails are so durable its amazing. She also keeps the acrylic very thin and natural looking without any weird edge. She shapes her nails perfectly. I also enjoy a pedicure by Tina. She really spends time getting my toes just right and gives a good massage too. I rarely get my nails done so I figured I pamper myself and get some "beach-proof" nails: I got the gel manicure and pedicure for $60. Mia did my pedicure and Trish did my manicure, and both did an amazing job. It took a bit longer than expected (almost an hour), but that's also another reason why I got gel so that I don't have to wait for it to dry. The manicure is still holding up pretty good after 3 weeks (no chips what so ever). A couple of the toes lost the gel top coat shine not even a week in, not sure how or why, but I went back and Mia put a new gel top coat on all of my toes no questions ask. The service here is super and the technicians are all very friendly! read more

I came here around Christmas time to get my nails and feet done, it was an hour until closing time so I figured I would have enough time, unfortunately it took a lot longer than I planned but the staff didn't make me feel bad or awkward at all. This is not my normal spot(i live in orange county), but my boyfriend lives down the street and he offered to treat me for a mani and pedi, so i checked all over on yelp for best nail places near here in redondo beach and saw this place. First and for most, the staff there was so friendly and made me feel so welcomed, i felt comfortable right away. Also, no foreign language was spoken at all when i was getting my nails done which was an absolute plus. The lady(forgot her name) who did my gel pedi did an awesome job and was very sweet, and Jeanny the owner did my gel mani was the best, my nails look so amazing and didn't have to tell her what i wanted or fix nails, it was done perfectly. Not only did the women and Jeanny doing my nails did an amazing job, they were so kind, gentle, and TOOK THEIR time doing my nails so it would look the way it should, i noticed that they were understaffed bc 3 of their employees had to leave for a family emergency, but those 2 ladies took their time on me even though they were busy. If i could give this place a 10 star rating i would. I've never been to a salon that had this good of customer service and doing nails this perfect, i will definitely be coming back to this place again and will be willing to make the drive every time !
