Been here once and had a great first experience! I am giving it 5 stars because I felt they were patient and it was a calm environment that I look for in a salon (no one of speaker phone talking loudly). I was indecisive about which color I wanted, and the pedicurist wasn't bothered and even let me know I could change my mind. That helped me feel really comfortable. She was also cautious and didn't give me callus treatment because she thought it would hurt my feet. I appreciated her insight rather than just trying to upsell. My toes look and feel great! The real test will be to see how busy they are on weekends. read more

Verdes Nail Salon does a wonderful job and the atmosphere is clean, relaxed, and high quality. It's the first nail salon I've tried in the South Bay and I'll for sure be a loyal customer. I observed it as very well managed, maintained, and the quality in nail outcomes is A+. Vivian is a gem! I didn't get to learn the name of the woman who did my pedicure, but she did a wonderful job too! I have a ton of callused skin on my feet because I go on beach runs frequently, and she did a wonderful job with the polish as well as the callus removal! read more

Verdes is a nail salon in a small plaza next to the big Trader Joe's one on PCH. I found it on Yelp last minute when I drove to my go-to nail salon and saw that it was permanently closed.. anyway. I called and I was able to walk right in, and I'm so glad I found them- they are better! I got a basic mani pedi, but this 5-star review goes to KC who did my pedi. She was amazing- she really took her time and did an excellent job. Next time I go I am going to request her! read more

paid $120 for dip nails with metallic overlay on Thursday evening. all but one nail has chipped and it's Monday. My nails didn't even last a week. I got my nails done for my vacation and now I'm stuck with overpriced hobo nails. I deserve a refund! read more

I had been going here for over 3 years and would always get dip powder and gel pedicures just because I said can you fix the shape or come back because the color faded , Vivian would say there fine or try to blame me . I've been getting my nails done since I was a kid so I know what professional good service is. Lastly when I was done and paid , i said I want to book my 2 week appointment and Vivian said no just text me and never responded . she knew she wasn't going to respond the fact to refuse service to a loyal customer that came there over 3 years is very unprofessional . I'm very picky at choosing my nail salon since I'm a detail oriented person. I've been doing my nails at Verdes for 4 months now since I moved to the area. My nails never been stronger. They are very good and also always flexible with scheduling. I enjoy being able to text Vivian to check availability instead of calling. If you want to have your natural nails to grow, you should try their long lasting hard gel. read more

This is hands down the best nail salon I've ever been to. Everyone is so so friendly! The place is clean and Jennifer is the absolute best, she is so meticulous and I never have a problem with her work .... I have often had to go back when I've got my nails done at other places because a nail would chip, etc but the gel manicures Jennifer performs can last longer than 4 weeks which is insane. I don't live super close but I make the trek out to the South Bay monthly for my manicure! So happy I found this place read more

I've been going to verdes for a few years and I am always very happy with my nails. It's very easy to make an appointment and the manicure/pedicure is pretty fast - especially when you're getting a manicure and pedicure at the same time. Each of the ladies have done my nails at some point and I am always very happy with the results. I've gotten gel manicures/pedicures, gel extensions and dip extensions and it always comes out great! First and foremost, this place is just aesthetically pleasing. I have been to (exaggerated) millions of nail salons, but this one is just so modern interior design and just clean cut - beautiful. As you can see by the pictures they have posted, but wow, I want my room to look like this. The variety of colors and available designs are just endless. but like rlly, how is it so clean like that? The next thing that pops off is their service. I mean, as professionals, they are obviously good at their job for nail design, but their willingness to put up a big smile when you walk in makes you feel so welcomed and homey. I really really appreciate that. Like - most nail salons may be "good" but not every one of them are "good AND nice." #iykyk. Another thing I cannot keep myself from mentioning is their sense of professionalism. just wow. ik i mentioned earlier but.. how do they get my cuticles like that? I've lived in the south bay for 33 years and during those years, I've had several good nail technicians but none has ever pampered me or my nails as great as Vivian did today. She listened to me, my likes and dislikes about my nails. She is a true artist. She treated each nail as if she was working on a piece of art. I'm not kidding!! Big plus is the salon was immaculate clean, fresh smelling, window were clean. Her assistant, Jessica was so sweet, she placed hot towels behind my back. Ahhhhh, felt so nice! I highly recommend Verdes Nails, Vivian and her staff. I have never experienced such wonderful customer service. Note: her prices are a little higher than my last couple of technicians but worth every penny. Thank you, Vivian..I will see you in two weeks. Can't wait to try out a pedicure as well! read more

Followed Vivian here from another location. She is hands down the best nail technician I've ever been to. She takes pride in her work and is a perfectionist. I am pretty rough with my hands and it shows but she manages to make them look so good. People at work ask me if they are my real nails because they look so natural as well. I must say i was very satisfied with my nails once i got them done. I made an appointment for my feet and nails to be done. They did my feet and eyebrows for a WHOPPING $73 They rescheduled me to come the next day for my nails.I went loved the way she took her time and did a very good job. $70 short full set acrylic. 2 weeks later i called to make an appointment for a fill and ask the price. This was amazingly unbelievable. The fill is $65. I cant understand how a full set is $70 and a fill for short nails is $65. And on that note I concluded my business with them. Wish you the best. At that rate $5 more Id be getting a new full.set every 2 weeks...NOT read more

The team at Verdes Nails did such an amazing job on my dip manicure! I went in with gel x on my nails (done by another salon) that was poorly done and desperately needed to be removed. The team at Verdes went to work removing the layers and layers of glue off my nails and were gentle and patient. I LOVE my dip manicure with OPI Be There in a Prosecco powder and a white chrome top coat. Highly recommend. read more

I was the last to receive service as I had the simplest treatment: a classic manicure. The woman was very rough and in addition to her roughness of scraping my nails, her own fingernails often dug into my fingers as she worked. (I think she was the owner as she answered the phone several times while doing my nails). Then she cut my cuticle on my thumb so deep it was bleeding and wouldn't stop. I only hope the instruments were sterilized. The area still hurts two days later. I should have stopped her and did my nails myself which I generally do. Not the enjoyable experience I expected. And the polishing job was so bad, bubbles formed. Complete waste of time and money, leaving me with pain and a mediocre manicure.

I thought it looked off, but assumed it was just a bad tint. When I got to the car I realized my eyelashes were completely curled in a circle back into themselves. I reached out and Su was kind enough to get me in to fix them a couple hours later. I came in crying and worried my lashes were going to fall out, I was assured it was an easy fix and my lashes would not fall out so we proceeded. In the studio, the fix looked fine, certainly better than before. I was refunded. I think if I had the lash lift with Su originally I would've been pleased with the results and the experience as the studio space is nice. Unfortunately, 2 hours after the fix the lashes started to retain the shape of the first lift again. I reached out again asking what I could do as they had gone back. The text I received back restated what had happened, but did not offer advice. I tried to clarify with a longer description of what was happening and said I was asking for advice. I did not hear from her again. This morning I woke up to my lashes falling out in clumps and the lashes that are left have all broken in half. I'm devastated. I have been getting lash lifts for years and have never had anything like this happen. It is going to take a very long time for my lashes to grow back. I was assured nothing bad would happen in the correction and it was an easy fix. Again, I was refunded, but it's not about the money. My lashes are ruined.
