UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES! This dealer plays a bait and switch game with their online listings. We tried to buy a 2025 Jeep Sahara 4xe. The price listed online was about $32k. After wasting two hours at the dealership doing a test drive and requesting, multiple times, an "out the door" price, we were finally presented a sheet of paper showing a total price of over $46k. This included many extras, such as $2995 for a Certified Pre-Owned warranty, despite the fact that the car was advertised as CPO at the $32k price. They also included a $1995 charge for a "Payment Processing Fee" among other nonsense. We left the dealer and were followed to our car by two other salespeople who tried talking us back inside. They were wasting their breath. We will never set foot in this den of thievery ever again. Buyer beware! This is rip-off joint. read more

Huge time wasters. The advertised price is not real. I contacted this dealership about a vehicle advertised as Certified Pre-Owned at a stated price. The listing, vehicle description, and CARFAX all indicated the vehicle was CPO. However, once I requested a written price breakdown, the cost suddenly increased by thousands of dollars due to undisclosed dealer packages and a separate charge for CPO that was never mentioned upfront. I was then informed that the advertised price was only available if I used dealership-arranged financing, and that outside financing was not accepted. This requirement was not disclosed anywhere in the listing or initial conversations. The dealership repeatedly pushed phone calls instead of providing clear, transparent numbers in writing. I have purchased many vehicles over the years and have never experienced such a disconnect between advertised pricing and actual purchase terms. While the vehicle itself was fine, the pricing and financing practices felt intentionally opaque and misleading, which ultimately led me to walk away. Buyers should be extremely cautious and confirm all pricing, fees, and financing requirements in writing before investing time with this dealership. read more

Called in to discuss pricing and made an appointment to come in to then spend 2hours trying to test drive a brand new suv that was buried on a lot with rusty brakes, dead battery and engine light on. Sales lady consistently lied including on pricing that ended up overcharging at the end. They promise you anything to trick you to the store and then overcharge. They have tons of inventory that got dusty with rusted brakes, and dead battery. They don't respect you or your time! Really Terrible experience. I had my Jeep 2017 limited serviced there and have had nothing but problems with it since then. They overcharged to fix the sunroof because they knew they could take advantage of the situation because motor was fried and open. They left loose screws up there rattling around making noise. Then after a year later I have the same problem where I need to get that fixed again and pay thousands of dollars. They returned the car to me dirty and also didn't even let me know when it was finally ready after it took 4-5 days to fix, calling constantly for an update. No one contacted me it was ready. Very unprofessional and uncourteous scam artists. I should have looked up online before going there but All you have to do is look up the name online and see the issues with their locations and the issues with the Leadership and members of the family from the top down. Called about a 2024 grand Cherokee that was advertised for $35,940. Spoke to a manager Michael Shmell before I came in and he assured me the car I was interested in was available and that was in fact the price. Came in to see the car and it took 30 min for the salesman to find the car. Apparently the brand new car had a dead battery. I drove the car and when we returned the salesman presented me with a price of 52,495 otd! I was told that the $35,940 is with 10k in rebates that I didn't qualify for and they also added $2495 for a paint protection package that I had no interest in and another &2000 in LoJack ?!!!! What?! I was told to get the 35940 I would have to lease the car, be a first responder, recent college grad, and numerous other rebates that sounded made up to me. Then a manger Abdullah (smelled like a ashtray) came over n said to just lease the car and he could save me another 2 k however I would have to pay another $5000 for the Lojack n paint package!!' This was the worst experience l've ever had buying a car and would never do business with such a dishonest dealer. Check the other reviews and you'll see similar reviews so this seems to be their way of ripping off customers. I would give zero stars if possible. Extremely stubborn customer service. I have a warranty that has not expired and the service they did on the Jeep was suppose to be covered. I had to go to the finance department to pull my finance papers. AFTER politely asking them to re-check their information, the service Manager was stubborn and would not. Unfortunately, I cannot go to any other Napeltons to get my car repaired because the car is under this locations warranty. Its upsetting that one has to go to the finance department for you to prove and get work done on your vehicle. read more

This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a car dealership. I made an appointment for a repair. When I brought my car in for the repair, I was told it would be several hours before they were able to look at my car and diagnose the problem even though I had scheduled an appointment with the expectation that they would look at it right away since I had an appointment. I also told them that I had purchased a service contract for $2500 at their facility when I bought the vehicle new and that I thought my repair should be covered by my service contract. They told me they would check into it and get back to me. The end of the day came and nobody had called so I called to check in. I was told that my car needed a new seal in the exhaust system and that it would be ready the following morning by 10:30. I was also told that the repair would be just over $200. When I arrived at 10:30 the next morning to pick up my vehicle, I was told that they "forgot" about my vehicle and the work had not been started yet so I was forced to wait for the work to be complete. When the work was finished, I was told that the cost would be $580. I had added new windshield wiper blades to the repair but didn't expect them to cost almost $400 extra. When I confronted them about the change in cost, they brought another person over to look at it and the cost ended up being reduced to $367. When I inquired whether they had confirmed that the repair would be covered by my service plan, they told me they would look into it and issue me a refund once they confirmed with the provider. Five days went by and nobody called me so I reached out again, I was told that the repair was not covered because I needed to have the service done where the car was purchased. The dealership where I brought it in for the repair was where I bought the car so I was confused. I was told that this dealership had been sold and that it was no longer Napleton Jeep. Now it was Jeep of Chicago. This made no sense to me as I was not informed that there was new ownership and that my repair would not be covered because the agreement was sold by the prior ownership. I spoke with a director to voice my concerns and was told that in order for the repair to be covered by the service plan, I would have had to take it to Napleton Mazda in Schaumburg. I asked for the director to see what he could do to help work with the service agreement provider and he basically said we didn't sell you this service agreement so we can't help you. read more

I rented a rental car for the 5 days my car was at the shop and when I called Monday they still hadn't touched my car for any maintenance whatsoever! A number of months ago I brought my 2010 Jeep Liberty (3rd vehicle purchased from them) in for some braking issues. It happened to be during some of the coldest days this winter. After 3 days and no call I finally called them to find out no one had looked at the vehicle yet. After not getting any straight answers I asked to speak to the Service Manager. I was asked to hold as he was on another call.... 20 mins later I hang up to call back and am now told he isn't currently in the office. After another 2 days of calling and finally speaking to the service manager I was informed that they have been understaffed due to the weather. To which I reply, oh the cold weather I have been taking the bus in the last several days? I had the service manager agree to have the vehicle ready in 1 day and in return have it detailed inside and out. 2 days later, not 1, finally receive the call that the vehicle is ready. Not only did I have to pay full price for the work, but I enter my vehicle and find that they never detailed it. I run my finger across the back and it's filthy. After purchasing 3 vehicles there I thought I would have rated better service. I will never purchase from Napleton again, nor will I use their servive center. Do not use their company. Brought our car into this dealership for the first appointment on Friday morning. I had previously gotten the diagnosis from my mechanic but he was unable to reprogram the computer. We told the service man what was wrong with it and handed him the diagnosis sheet. He told us it would be a couple hours and to remain in the area. Several hours had passed without hearing anything so I called in to see what was going on. They had not even gotten to the car at this point. He called me back finally half an hour before they closed for the day and said they wouldn't be able to get to it until Monday despite me having brought it in early on Friday. Halfway through the day on Monday there was still no call from them so I reached out again. They had replaced the part I asked them to but had stripped one of the bolts and couldn't put the engine back together until they ordered a new bolt. He said it would be ready Tuesday morning. Tuesday afternoon came around and we still had not heard from him so I called AGAIN. He told us they they had ordered the wrong bolt and we would have to wait until Wednesday. We complained that they had the same car in their inventory and had them take the bolt from that car to fix ours that day. They got our car back to us finally on Tuesday evening. We now took the car to a better dealership to have it fixed properly and they informed us that whatever they did at Napleton had BROKE THE COMPUTER OF OUR CAR and it would cost us $2800 to fix! The service and work of this dealership was absolutely disastrous and has now cost us both time and money that was unnecessary. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NEVER GOING HERE AND TAKING YOUR BUSINESS TO A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP IF YOU WANT THINGS DONE PROPERLY AND QUICKLY! read more

On May 13th I took my 2014 JEEP into Napelton's Northwestern for a oil change. I left with a lease on a new 2016 JEEP Grand Cherokee. My sales associate was Mustafa. I was impressed by the enthusiasm and willingness of Mustafa to find the exact car of my desire. By going through a series of questions designed to flesh out all the details in a vehicle that would make me happy we agreed on a metallic cherry red Grand Cherokee with an extended sunroof feature. Once we zeroed in on our new dream JEEP he searched it out even though it was not a vehicle in inventory, and sourced it through another dealership in the short while I waited at his desk. Because my previous JEEP was leased through Napelton's Mustafa treated my relationship with the dealership preferentially and without haggling I received a great price for my trade and fair price for the new 2016 JEEP. I was in and out with a new car in under two hours. I needed to come back to claim the actual vehicle once it was delivered from its original dealership but that was available to pick up in less than 24 hours. I bought my car from Napleton so I went to this one to get a light that kept coming on checked. I told my service advisor I would wait for the car. 2 hours later I had no update. I went to ask for an update, my service advice was no where in sight. I was told it wouldn't be much longer. ANOTHER TWO HOURS LATER my service advisor was looking for someone else and saw me. She told me sorry it was taking so long but this was why she didn't advise people to wait for wiring issues (she never advised me this). After FIVE hours I was told what the problem was but they didn't have the part for it so I would have to come back. I ordered the part and dropped off the car for the 3 hour repair I was quoted. A DAY AND A HALF LATER I still had not gotten an update on my car. I called and was quoted a time. When the time came and went I called back and was told the car had been ready for a while but I was never notified. I got my car and drove it home. 3 hours later when I drove my car again, the SAME light came on. The problem was not fixed. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

Napleton's took our mini-van, charged us over $100 just to "inspect' it (a.k.a. find other stuff to charge us for) and then refused to pay for the sideview mirror that got broken while the van was in their possession. Most horrible service I ever received at a "Certified" dealer. Took my jeep in on a Tuesday to get diagnosed to see what the problem was supposedly it was fixed I picked up my jeep the next day. The following day I drove my vehicle to work and it started the same problem even left me stranded. I had my vehicle towed back to the shop they were supposed to look at the vehicle in the morning never received a call I had to call the to get answer which was they never had time to check the vehicle. Spoke to manager Doug which was no help kept giving me the run around when asked to speak to a manager above him he would not give me the name. I kept getting a response of I'll call you tomorrow which he never did. I had to call him and response "sorry we're under staff" Never will I recommend anyone here. Service technicians kept guessing on my vehicle to see what was wrong money does not grow on trees to be throwing away on guessing especially if there "certified" I been calling off work due to no vehicle. read more

HORRIBLE BUSINESS!!! ALERT!!!! ALERT!!! DONT GO HERE! My Jeep Cherokee went in to get the AC recharged (tuesday). Juliet said they had done it and that the car would be ready to be picked up the next day (thursday). We called and spoke to Juliet who stated that yes the cars fluid's were topped off and it was ready to be picked up...The car's AC was supposed to be recharged not the for the fluids to be topped off??... she said she never said that the AC was recharged and that they were really busy and couldn't get it done today. We confronted her over the phone and she admitted to lying and said "she didn't know why she said the car was ready." Called back on friday to check the status of the vehicle and now there was an oxygen sensor that went off because they improperly put the car up on the lift and it damaged the oxygen sensor. They said it would be done on monday. Called on monday today (11-july-16) and they said they are working to fix the cars sensor problem and if changing the sensor didn't work they would have to put in a new catalytic converter. I just don't understand how a business can run like this. They lie to there customers and when they make a mistake they don't rush to fix it. This car should have been made a priority and should have been done already. It's absolutely horrible! The worst place ever! Do not bring your vehicle here. UPDATE: Owner called my dad not 10 Minutes after i posted the review on google demanding I take down my review OR THEY AREN'T GOING TO WORK ON MY CAR! This just shows what type of business they are! After taking my car in for service, they told me it needed some additional work (which I knew was coming). I decided to walk over to the sales department and see what they had in slightly used vehicles. I was connected with Moustafa Abd-Elsalam. He asked what I was looking I was looking for and then showed me exactly that, a loaded Jeep Renegade with extremely low miles at an amazing price. I was not quite ready to purchase that day, but he kept in contact with me, not in an obnoxious or overbearing way. When I had put a few things in place I scheduled an appointment. Moustafa answered all of my questions quickly and honestly. I did not feel like I was getting the runaround or taken advantage of at any time. Then it was time to talk with the banks. I went into Angel's office to continue the process. He worked with me to get a great rate and made sure it was the best available. He could have not been more friendly and professional throughout the whole process. Thought out the whole process I was completely taken care of, never forgotten, and made a priority.
