An employee here took one look and said "it's too hard". What's hard about pulling two screws with the correct tool (that we know you have), pulling out an old bulb, putting in a new one and screwing the screws back in? I went to another O'Reilly location and they did it for me in less than 10 minutes. Seems like the staff here were lazy and just didn't want to do it.

Get a boost, bring it back to the place, they say battery is fine, starter and alternator failed their test. I stop at home, car won't start, boost doesn't work, have to get towed, then mechanic says all parts are good, just the battery install was loose. I go back to the store to be compensated and Greg tells me it wasn't their fault, why should he trust the mechanic (idk maybe bc he actually fixed my car), the mechanic is just angry I didn't go to him to replace the battery (mechanic is super honest and I've been going to him for years), his "Zoners" are all experts and would never mess up, (the kid who did it is off from college for the summer and has been working there for a couple months lol). It's the kind of sleazy car stuff from a bad tv show. DO NOT GO.

Turns out an hour after I picked up the item, it was the brake pads in the REAR that needed attention. You would think that making an even exchange (swapping one item for another that is the same price) would be easy? Maybe at Target, or Walmart, or even (gasp) 7-11 it is. But here? Oh no. Not at all. Let me preface this by saying I used a combination of online credit and a debit card to pay for my initial purchase. When I went into the location, one particular employee (I won't doxx him on here) make it very obvious that it was a huge inconvenience for me to ask him to help me with my purchase. First, he tells me that they don't do exchanges. (After I spoke to Corporate, it turns out they don't.) He said they would process the return and I would have to make a whole new purchase. But.... when I asked him if I would receive my credit back to use it on the new set of pads, he rolled his eyes and said "Don't know". So at this point I'm going to have to pay full price, when I initially used a substantial credit in the first place. It was obvious to me that he just wanted me gone, so he could go back to doing whatever it was he was doing. (Nothing.) So I left, without the part I needed. I called Corporate and not only got my credit back, but got the order placed at another location, and it was cheaper too, even with the credit. This location? Not again. We'll see how the Skokie location is.
