The mechanics are incompetent. Brought the vehicle there atleast 10 times for same ongoing problem. The salesperson was horrible. The vehicle was purchased there and has been bad since day one. I wouldn't go there again in a million years. Went to a different Chevy dealer they fixed the problem finally. read more

Poor experience. Tony Iaquinto gives sales people that bad reputation. I wont go into details, but who refuses to sell an as-is trade in over $26. As a former salesperson, if it was my deal i would offer the customer the difference to get the sale and gain a happy customer. I have a recall on my car so I called this place cause this is where I bought it from and I also have a rental thing with it so mind you I live almost an hr away and I have gotten rentals before when they have kept my car that said I call they make my appointment I asked about the rental she was like yes you get a rental since you have that on you warranty and we will have your car overnight I go for my appointment and I'm like I'm here for my rental and dropping my car off well then she is like a 400 dollar deposit for what I have never ever had to put a deposit down in the past for a rental from them then I was like you couldn't tell me this on the phone just make me come up here a 1 hr drive to and from i don't have 400 dollars and she was like we don't have to tell you. Ok well your not getting my car then and I won't be getting the rental and I will never buy another car from here again this is crappy service and I won't be back there. So head all the posts on here. I've had my car for almost 3 years and have had a few rentals and no one asked me for a deposit ever. Walked out because Sales manger Ron. refused to fix a chip in windshield. Said if he fixed one he'd have to fix for everybody. Okay, brought my 2016 Trax in for oil change and have it checked out for a miss with the motor. They called with the diagnosis, about a $750 fix. I kinda expected a high number and I did have other options for repairs. I declined repairs and picked it up($214 for diagnostics)there was a 8.47 charge for shop supplies. I was told this was a charge for the rags they use for cleaning things in the shop. YES, we are now being charged for their cleaning supplies, that's like going to a restaurant and being charged for filling their mop bucket to clean the kitchen. I bought my 2016 equinox in due to the car intermittently shutting off while driving. My check engine light came on- P0011- camshaft position-over timing- advanced or system performance. When I took it in the dealership changed the oil- reset the computer and told me it was fixed- and charged me for an oil change- next day I resumed driving the vehicle and it again shut off on me while pulling out onto a main highway almost causing a collision with another car- with my 9 yr old son in the car. The check engine light did not come back on but I took the car back again and they checked the sensor and what do you know- the sensor was FAULTY! What I don't understand is why wouldn't they check the sensor when the check engine light was on in the first place! I will never do business with them again! read more

I visited Jeff D'Ambrosio Chevrolet to buy my my first vehicle. I bought a new Chevrolet Colorado and love it! There are so many cool bonus features that come with a new Chevrolet that I had no idea! Initially, when I got home and reviewed the paperwork, I noticed there were a couple things that didn't align with what I discussed with a salesman there. It was my first vehicle purchase and I was very confused and had felt the #'s changed on me. I was very upset and went back to the dealership. Thats when we met with their general sales manager, Tony, who made everything perfect!!! He truly went out of his way to get me the best deal. Definitely, always talk to Tony when you buy a new car here!!! He's the best! He's so caring, explains everything clearly (which is very important), and truly loves his dealership. He has earned the dealership its high reputation and is the reason for my 5 stars!!! read more

In May of this year, I placed an order for a new 2022 Trailboss. This required a $500 deposit. The agreement states that if cancelled or I refuse to take delivery they have the option of not refunding my deposit. The truck has not been built but is scheduled for production mid-June. I was initially told that the truck would arrive around Sept but now it would be July. Normally that would be great news but unfortunately due to a personal issue, I needed to tap into my downpayment fund needed a little time to make that up and decided it was better to cancel the order (June 3). I shared that I would be ready to purchase later this year and explained to the dealer that I had a hardship and that while I regretted to do so, I needed to cancel. They stated that I was not able to cancel and that that I will be forfeiting my $500. This deposit is being forfeited as damages. What damages? These vehicles are selling before they actually land at the dealer, hence ordering. I guarantee they will increase the selling price from my contracted price and make more money in addition to my $500. I get that this is their choice but it does say a lot about them as a dealer. Ultimately, it is my fault for selecting them. I will not make that mistake again. read more

I went to jeff d ambrosio chevrolet for an oil change and inspection. Requested inspection as I am driving cross country. They said my car was in great condition. They are idiots. Got my car checked elsewhere just in case - I had a rusted brake line that was leaking brake fluid AND the idiots had topped off my fluids but didn't understand how to check tranny fluid in a Pontiac Sunfire and overfilled by at least a GALLON! You check the level with the car running while loosening the bolt on the trans to see how much fluid runs out as there is no dipstick - I'm betting these idiots just filled the reservoir until they could see it in the opening. Second mechanic said it was so much trans fluid the pressure was starting to ruin the seals and fluid was leaking out. He let me watch and it poured out like a damn river. Incompetant fools at this dealership garage! DO NOT GO HERE!!! read more

I had a very bad experience on 01/19/2022 with the service department here concerning the PA state inspection on my 2016 Ford F-150 pickup. I was in an adjoining waiting area when an employee entered and told me VERBALLY ONLY that my truck failed inspection due to a malfunctioning driver side windshield wiper AND that my rear brake pads had only 2/32 pad left and I needed 3/32 to pass. I was quoted a price of over $300 for the job and I declined the offer and the truck was failed. I installed rear brake pads on the vehicle the same day and also a new wiper blade. The removed pads were way over 2/32" and in no way should have failed. On 01/20/22, I returned for a re-inspection (old pads in hand) and I was told that the technician who supposedly measured them the day before was not available since he was working in the back. The person who did try to measure the pads was totally inexperienced and really did not know how to measure them. I was told by him that it was a "miscommunication" and that I was not failed for the brakes, but it was just "suggested" that I might want them. LIE, LIE, LIE. I get the distinct feeling that the technicians are leaned on to sell products and services and that they roll out the PARTS CANNON and aim it toward unsuspecting consumers. Shame on you Jeff D'Ambrosio and shame on the PA licensed technician to submit to the pressure put on him from above. PLEASE, BUYER BEWARE before you do any business with this organization read more

Matt, The service manager was great when I found myself in a bind. I had lost both key fobs to my Cadillac SRX over a weekend. When I called the dealer where I purchased the call - they were less than helpful getting me new fobs/keys and my car on the road again. Matt was referred to me by our auto mechanic (who would have helped but there was no way to start the car) who was extremely responsive and helpful. The only issue I had was the bill came out much hire then discussed but went I brought that up to the cashier, she went and had it reviewed and was able to make it whole. read more

I came in unscheduled on a Saturday morning, Sean was honest with me and informed me he couldn't take me right away, but that he would satisfy my service request. I left my vehicle, and true to his word, Sean followed through as he always does! I know the service department is very busy, and I schedule as best I can, but there are times where my schedule doesn't allow me to make an appointment. Sean always seems to find a way to make it happen! This is why I come back again and again. Buyers Beware! I purchased a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 from there partner dealership (Jeff D'Ambrosio Chrysler and Jeep). I live in Chicago, and this dealership is in PA. I spoke with a salesman their who put me in contact with one of the dealerships employees, because it was the employees personal car. That the dealership was selling for him. I spoke with the employee at least 2 dozen times and hundreds of text messages back and forth. He knew I lived 12 hrs. away and planned on having the car shipped to me. I wanted to be 100% positive about the condition of the car. I asked him numerous times if there were any mechanical issues or dents, dings, scratches etc on the paint. He reassured me that the car was perfect. He told me there wasn't a single scratch/ding on the car. I asked him if the car had ever been in an accident or had any paint work. He did tell me that there was a minor fender bender on the front left side and send me pictures of the damage and pictures after it was repaired. I was okay with that. He promised me there was nothing else done on the car, it is absolutely perfect. I ended up buying the car. I had it shipped to me. When I finally received the car, I saw that the entire front end had rock chips all over, they were some scratches on the back bumper, there is a piece of paint missing on the rear hatch. I wasn't happy, but I didn't say anything and didn't plan on doing anything about it. I figured that it's a used car and I can't expect it to be perfect. A few days later I washed the car and noticed a huge piece of paint that flaked off on the drivers side rear door. I immediately brought it to a body shop. I was in shock with what they told showed and told me. The front end of the car had been repainted of at one point, which I know about, but the bad paint was the drivers side rear door, rear outer panel was just recently repainted. The body shop has said that this was most likely a parking lot paint job- they didn't remove anything, they didn't even sand the old paint down. They just sprayed it. There is over spray all over the truck, all over the trim pieces, taillights, door handles etc. Since they didn't prep the car for the paint job, know all that paint is just flacking off. They told me that a few car washes or bad rain storms all of the paint will peel off. I couldn't believe my ears. This beautiful car that I spend so much on, and almost half the car has to be repainted know. Aside from that they have to wet sand and buff the entire car to remove all the overspray. I was quoted $1,900.00 to do the repairs. Plus an additional $600.00 to repaint the front bumper, and tailgate from all the rock chips. So know this supposedly perfect car needs $2,500.00 in repairs. Once I found this out I called the guy I bought the car from, he told me sorry but its AS IS, and then hung up the phone on me. I tried calling numerous times and know he won't even answer the phone. I told him I was going to make a claim with the BBB and write a review about the dealership. He said, So what you gotten to do? I even tried calling the general manager of the dealership multiple times and didn't even get a call back. To top it off, he told me that all service has been done on the car. I need new brakes and I have had the car for bearly one month. So overall,Please Buyers be very careful, about who you choose to do business with. read more
