They are a neighborhood establishment very friendly update you on everything going on with your vehicle before they do any work. The prices are average a little high in some areas, but you're getting quality work. Are there other places that are cheaper and probably better, yes. I can't even begin to tell you how disappointing my experiences have been with this company. Several months ago, the headlight on my wife's jeep went out. She took it to a Oxford automotive to ask what they would charge to replace it. They explained to her that on a jeep Cherokee, you have to remove the entire front of the car to get to the headlights. They told her with parts and labor she was looking at approximately $3000. She told me this and I said there was no way in hell. I told her I would come home and try to replace it myself. By the time I got home, she had already gone to an auto parts store, purchased a bulb, watched a YouTube video, and replaced it herself. Fast forward to last week. One day before we were supposed to take her jeep on a road trip halfway across the country, she was driving through Oxford, and suddenly started hearing a very loud, grinding, clunking sound coming out of the rear left of her vehicle. Oxford automotive was the closest place so she limped in and dropped it off. We ended up leaving on our vacation in our other vehicle. Two days later they called us to tell us that the problem was that the differential needed to be replaced. We were told that the rear differential and both wheel bearings needed to be replaced and that it would cost approximately $5700. Given, our previous experience, we decided to get a second opinion, and had the vehicle towed to a different service shop. That technician diagnosed it as a problem with the axle because the teeth had broken off. He replaced the axle and a clip. Parts and labor came to just under $1000 and it is driving great. That is nearly a $5000 difference. I don't know about you, but $5000 means something to me and I am very resentful that they would've ripped me off if I had given them the OK. The mechanic who fixed our jeep told me that it didn't even look like they had opened anything up and looked at it. To me that means they just wanted to take my money. 2025: Do-not go here, you have been warned! Avoid this place like the Plague! After 5 years of loyalty, I was treated shamefully by management and the owner Troy. I will be attaching photos as proof of how awfully I was treated by this shop. Imagine treating a customer, who's spent thousands of dollars at your business and referred countless friends, family, neighbors and others around the community and then to be treated like garbage! I decided to call and speak with the owner directly, but he refused to take my call and referred my call over to the service manager Jordin. He was extremely rude and condescending towards me and did-not care what I had to say. I asked once again to speak with the owner directly, but he refused! He continued insulting me over and over, until eventually he simply hung up the phone on me! On my most recent visit, I waited for my oil change and while sitting in the reception area, I overheard numerous calls to customers with estimates of repairs. It was like listening to car sales people during the process of trying to rip-off customers. On one particular call, Paula one of the service writers was attempting to charge a customer almost $5000.00 for repairs, I thought I was hearing things! Over $3000.00 for rear shocks alone, Insane! When the customer wasn't going for it, she then told them, we work with a finance company who'll approve this for you and you have 120 days to pay it back! The customer refused to have the work completed and the call soon ended. In closing, the appearance of a clean waiting area and fake-friendly service advisors, is only used as a facade to take full advantage of their supposed valued customers! I'm appalled at the way they've treated me and also the way they take advantage of so many others who think their friendliness is actually honesty, when it certainly isn't! They use this fake hospitality to take advantage of people, which is disgraceful behavior. I do-not recommend this place to anyone! Just read over some of the negative reviews and the replies from this place and you'll see how much they take advantage of their customers. Last year they told me my engine air filter and cabin air filters were bad during my oil change visit, I said thanks, but I'll take care of that myself. A week later, I went to change my filters to find the engine air filter was still very clean and barely had any dust on it at all. I proceeded to check the cabin air filter and they were both missing from my vehicle. They're so accustomed to most customers just going for this lie, they never bothered to put the old ones back in my vehicle, as most customers usually just approve this repair. I called and told them what occurred, that I was being told my filters were all bad, when in fact they weren't! Paula the service advisor apologized at the time, but didn't really make a big deal about it. I was bothered, but i decided to just let it slide because I thought they were very nice people! They aren't very nice after all, in fact, they just rip people off by making up false, unnecessary repairs so they can make lots of money. I believe the service writers are financially compensated, similarly to how they are at car dealerships, so the more repairs they get, the more money they earn! I know Paula told me, she use to work at a car dealership previously. I cannot believe I have to write this long review, but I must, in order to save others from being ripped-off and taken advantage of by these awful people! I went back and forth 3 times. Each time the car overheated worse. It started with them replacing a radiator hose--questionable since MB did not notice a problem. They put in a cheap replacement. From there my car continued overheating. My spouse noticed the hose was a problem, but instead, they replaced the radiator with a cheap aftermarket. In the end, I took my car elsewhere. They replaced the cheap after-market radiator and hose. I haven't had a problem since. read more

wow extremely disappointed have spent a lot of money with this business for years. in last two weeks alone over had 2 cars serviced. they put two tires in front of car Goodyear eagle sport and the one tire was defective had a blowout. we had car towed to infiniti they fixed had to purchase another tire. called oxford automotive spoke with Kim and her non caring attitude was disheartening to say the least. she wanted no parts of helping the customer and said nothing the could do to help or assist. basically call Goodyear. I hope at some point her daughter has a blowout because of shitty defective tires 2 weeks after we placed trust in the shop. take money and who cares about the customer called good year and got run around as expected, however the moral is the shop can deal with them and assist if they want to. read more

I have been using this repair shop for my cars over the past two or three years. Location is close and they seemed sincere and pretty accommodating. But about a year ago I hit the first bump when they installed some things during an inspection that should not have been replaced (recently replaced parts I did myself) which were not inspection worthy items. Ok. We can move past that and I just have to be more specific with them. Nothing too crazy. But now for the whopper. My 20 something year old daughter who is not mechanical inclined takes her 2020 Kia Soul for routine oil change and tire rotation. Roughly 50K miles on it. They tell her that the scheduled maintenance calls for brake system flush and fuel system cleaning. Not according to any Kia manual ever. She doesn't know this and thinks it must be true. A $50 job jumps to $300. That might not seem like a lot for some people but understand she lives off a first year teachers salary. Time to look for new shop. Oh well. read more
