Prompt, affordable and skilled service. Aaron was my driver. He arrived in 15-20min even though I gave him the wrong address (2 buildings over), but he didn't complain. He simply turned around hooked my car up and we were on the freeway in minutes. He took it out to Davis from Fairfield for a great price. He even gave me some advice on how to fix my car on my own without paying thousands of dollars to a body shop. We had a very urgent need when our pickup broke down on 80W in Fairfield on a busy Friday afternoon with our son behind the wheel. I was at work in Contra Costa County. The first place I called for a tow was backlogged for hours but kindly recommended Jeff Ramirez Towing as a backup and gave me their number. I called them and Robin answered. Robin immediately dispatched a tow truck to the scene, and, sparing me the need to drive nearly an hour to meet them there, had my truck picked up on the side of the highway and delivered it to where I needed it. And then the cherry on top was when I received the bill to find I was charged $25 less than I was quoted. From beginning to end, this took less than 1 hour. The car was located within a hour after it was stolen, and also driven to a whole other city(Fairfield) which was most likely the drive time. How would the person who stole the car have time to sort through things in the backseat and also the trunk, all while crashing the car? Also on the police report of the car, the write down a inventory of valuable items in the car, one of the things being the tools/toolbox in the trunk. Which was also not in the car when I went to retrieve my items! That's the main part, things that the police report says was supposed to be in the car, wasn't in the car when I got there. And that's how I know for a fact it had to be the tow company. The only things that were missing is valuable items that could be resold for cash..... come on now. read more

This tow truck company is a joke. A true joke. The driver came out to tow a AAA arranged tow. He reported to AAA that it was off the road in a field, which was in true. He reported it want registered, again, untrue, the tags weren't on however when that was brought to my attention I placed the tags on the vehicle. He then stated the back tires were flat, which again was untrue. The driver got back in the truck and drove off without saying anything or attempting to come up with a viable alternative. When I called the company to make a complaint Kat the manager was rude. Not helpful in remedying the situation or offering any other viable options, being that this is her field of expertise I expected to receive at least a point in the right direction. But nothing. I'm surprised AAA even contracts them. I'm glad some other people had good experiences, makes it a little easier to chalk it up to "they were just having a bad day." read more

After a hefty fee paid for the vehicle release of our PNO Honda compliments of Fairfield PD, I yet burned another hole in my wallet for the towing and storage charges at this place. Situated in the back roads getting here was tricky. You can easily miss the turn off to their yard but I managed. When we pulled up there was one guy ahead of us but it didn't take long at all to get our car bailed. Towed out of the yard and into a parking space she went. So I saw previous reviews and I was very nervous about trying these guys. However, I couldn't have been more wrong. My daughters car conked out after buying it on Craigslist less than a week ago (karma will prevail). The driver met me at the Chevron in Fairfield and was very pleasant. I followed him to my mechanic and he even joked about the true meaning of FORD. Yesterday my car battery went dead at the worst time. I was without a cell phone and thankfully one of the store employees gave me pride home so that I could call a tow company. My daughter gave specific info on her car (97 mustang) that needed to be towed from the side yard (not in street & not drivable) over the phone and he showed up with a tow truck with the forks instead of a flat bed which is what should have been used!!!! He would not accept a card or check but demanded cash . My wife broken down in Fairfield this week (Saturday Night). It was raining and it was dark. I called and requested my car be towed to my house and the VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KIND gentlemen that answered told me he could have a tow truck there in 20 minutes. I was shocked when my wife called and told me the tow person was there and it had been 9 mins. The tow man was kind and considerate of my wife and returned the car and my wife to my house within 30 minutes. The cost was fair and reasonable. I was driving on a gravel road at the end of Grizzly Island and before I knew it, my car lost traction. I freaked out and luckily crashed into the bushes rather than the little creek that runs along side the road! I was in distraught so my friend called this towing company and they got there in about 25 minutes, got me out and I was able to drive it home. The guy, Tim, was really nice and made me feel better when he told me about the similar accidents in that area. lol I didn't have my car impounded so I can't really relate to the guy who commented below me but I can say the price wasn't bad. Horrible customer service. It cost $150 to access your vehicle after hours. They will not allow wife people to access your vehicle unless they are on the registration, even though you have proof of insurance with both names. They asked how would they know that I'm supposed to have access and I gave them a few options. One would think that they would establish a way for car owners to allow others to access a vehicle with a passcode or picture ID, something. They were no help!!! read more

Since the review I left below, I have been able to talk with Jeff Ramirez regarding the incident and he was very pleasant to work with. We discussed the situation and their position with regards to towing jobs they get from law enforcement agencies. We came to an agreement that he would refund half of my fees (more than I would have asked for) because of the confusion and nature of the incident. He is also one of few business owners who actually pay attention to their Yelp and social media posts, one who cares about his business and the reputation it has in the community. In this day and age of social media and online information access, these posts can be powerful. I was pleased to see that after he responded to a prior post, he responded to mine as well.
