Schedule oil changes always take MINIMUM 90 minutes, most often I am there 2+ hours after my car is dropped off and they don't even touch it until 45 minutes. I usually don't post things like this, but I feel like I need to share my experience with Jeff Wyler. For over 2 years, I've brought my vehicle in multiple times for ongoing transmission issues while the vehicle was under warranty. I explained exactly what was happening: the car would suddenly go into limp mode, jerk extremely hard, lose all acceleration, and leave me trying to quickly get across lanes of traffic just to get to the side of the road. I would have to turn the car off and back on, hoping it would reset so I could safely drive again. I was told each time "it didn't happen during our test drive and no lights popped up or codes were thrown so there is nothing we can do." Now, after all this time, they've finally identified the problem--a failed seal that allowed transmission fluid and clutch/gear oil to mix. Because this went undiagnosed for so long, it has now caused severe damage and I'm being told I need a full transmission replacement costing thousands of dollars. Now the car is out of warrenty they were finally able to make it happen even though no codes were thrown. They finally went and checked out the transmission/ oil and found the fluids were mixed because of a failed seal. Though all the times under warranty they would never do anything other than take it for a test drive. It has now been sitting at their shop going on 3 weeks while I'm trying to fight with Kia to get this covered as a good will and it's not looking promising. Before I took it there it went limp on 75 where there was construction. I could not get over and was dead stop in the middle of the road. I had a semi have to slam on his breaks behind me to avoid hitting me which probably would've resulted in me losing my life. I sat there while trying to restart my car multiple times with tears just streaming down my face. This wasn't just inconvenient--it was dangerous. I've been put in situations where I had to fight to get my car safely off the road, including with my one-year-old son in the car. This could have been prevented if the issue had been properly diagnosed when it was first reported. All they had to do is open the hood and look. They told me on the phone after FINALLY doing a manual inspection of the engine they noticed right away that the fluid that was supposed to be blue was black and found the issue. I trusted them to take these concerns seriously, and instead it escalated into something much worse. I don't think it's right that I'm now being left with a massive bill for something that was repeatedly reported and missed. Accountability matters. No one should have to go through something like this--especially when safety is on the line. read more

Scammers. Do not put a downpayment or trade in. Buy your vehicle outright, and do not finance with them if you choose to shop here. bring a blank check. Take your attorney to read your paperwork or you will be hiring one later. They will steal your money and misappropriate your funds once you to get to finance, after lying to your face. Walk away, and if they cannot provide you with everything in writing go somewhere else. This dealer has 50 complaints at the Ohio State Attorney General's Office. I was assured a final price on a certified pre-owned vehicle if I'd just come in and test drive it. When I asked to work in the dealership in person on the amount to confirm it first, they insisted the test drive was first required and the agreed amount to pay was secure/confirmed. After the test drive, I went to pay (without financing) and guess what? The price was higher than what I was quoted by Kevin Hyde, Sales Manager. He wasn't there to complete the sale; he told me his sales partner Deshawn Pace would handle the sale for him. But alas, when Deshawn couldn't convince me to sign for the higher price, Ryan from the back room had to be brought out to assure me that the $21,001.00 I was willing to pay (and only wanted that specific amount if I was to come by at all tonight for the mandatory test drive) was the same as the $22,813.63 they were now making me sign/pay. I lost my whole workday negotiating the final total payment amount with Kevin Hyde; only to drive almost an hour to be handed off to Deshawn Pace for the vehicle inspection/drive; have Deshawn confirm he'd settle Kevin's agreed sale price; and then hear the bad news from onsite manager Ryan that there's 'nothing he can do about it.' Don't lose your entire day/night to this sales team, especially if you are crystal clear that you don't need to test drive a car at all if a quoted price won't be approved on site same day for final signature. Ryan "mansplained" in the dealership that tax must be paid on the purchase. Really, Ryan... I had no idea. If only I had worked that out with Kevin Hyde before arriving to Deshawn's desk tonight. Oh wait... I did. I wouldn't bother with Jeff Wyler sales team/dealership at any branch. I only arrived to the Kia lot because the Nissan lot doesn't sully its hand with used vehicle sales at all. And once you meet the staff who do handle CPOs, they have no problem telling you one thing and trying to make you sign to pay something else. Jeff Wyler, why would you employ such staff? Deshawn was nice/polite/engaging; Kevin was happy to assure me I could get the price I wanted today. Ultimately... Jeff Wyler Kia just couldn't muster it for someone fully financed and ready to sign. Gave him the budget and he pulled up additional SUV's that were a match. Test drove several. Worked the numbers. $4800 off Kelly Blue book was great!! The secret, they discount the vehicles, the longer they are on the lot. Then they go to auction. So watch the one you want! The Finance manager was awesome - I highly believe in an extended Drive Train warranty! (The last vehicle, the warranty covered a new Hemi engine) But with this 2022 Cadillac I thought I better cover electronics too! Get the Warranty!! He did a No Interest Warranty!! Perfect The car buying process still takes hours : / but Joshua Luis made it easy. No pressure. He filled the caddy with gas, washed it and we were on our way!! She continued to say an hour and a half and I said well that would be 10:00 am - still cannot promise we are under construction. I asked to re-schedule for this week - no we are booked. they should inform customers of a longer wait period due to their construction- this is not the customers fault. DO NOT BUY A USED CAR FROM HERE!! Over the past 6 years my husband and I and my son purchased 3, 2015 Kias. 2 Optima's and a Sportage. Over the last 3 years ALL of the motors blew. The Sportage was not covered but they had a motor so we paid 2500 to fix it. One of the Optima's was covered so there was no cost. In those situations, no paperwork showing oil changes was requested. This past March, the Optima my son purchased, motor blew. Had it towed to Jeff Wyler Kia in Fairfield, where we bought all the cars and had the other tow fixed. Finally in July they ask my son for oil change paperwork. He provided them with 5 YEARS of on time oil changes with only 1 missing from 2020! Well as we all know, nothing was open then due to COVID! My husband did the oil changes! So at this point they have had his car for nearly 5 months just to tell him they can't fix it! Even better, they tell him they are towing cars off their lot next week! So the car was fine to sit there for nearly 5 months with them doing nothing but now he better get it this week or they are towing it. ALSO, they have the nerve to try to charge him $250 for the tests they ran. There is ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE to have 3 cars bought from the same lot and all of the motors blow! We will be contacting Kia's Corporate Offuce to file a complaint and the Attorney Generals office due to the absurd amount of time they had the vehicle without performing needed diagnostic tests and having no updates over the nearly 5 month period of time they had the car! read more

I am beyond frustrated with Jeff Wyler Kia Fairfield Service Department. It's been one disaster after another. First visit: I brought my car in for a recall fix on the rear HVAC. Everything seemed fine until I got home and noticed a broken part on the rear passenger seat. The kicker? The part was unrelated to the recall. But I thought, okay, mistakes happen, and I decided to address it during my next recall visit. Second visit: This time, I was dealing with a recall on the driver seat buttons. When I checked in, I made sure to mention the broken piece from last time and asked them to take care of it too. The service guy looked at me like I was making it up and asked a bunch of questions in a really condescending way. I even offered to show him the broken part, but he brushed me off and said they'd handle it. Fast forward: I get a call saying my car is ready. I go back, and guess what? They didn't even look at the broken piece. When I asked about it, the guy says, "Oh man, I knew I was forgetting something." No offer to fix it, reschedule or anything. I asked if we could handle it during my next oil change. He scribbles something on his card and tells me to schedule any day but Thursday, promising he'll remember. He wouldn't even schedule the oil change for me to ensure the message was relayed properly. Then the cherry on top. When I'm checked out, he tells me it's out back and hands me the keys. So, I'm out here hiking through their backlot, dodging wrecked cars, and I can't find my car anywhere. I try hitting the panic button--nothing. I go back inside, and the dude's already closed the garage door behind me, so I have to walk all the way around the building. When I tell him I can't find my car, he just stares at me. Luckily, another very nice man hops up from around the corner and gets my car within seconds. I apologized to him and he confirmed I never would have found it on my own as it was way in the back. The original guy? Didn't say a word. And to make matters worse, when I get home, I check the seat adjuster they were supposed to fix, and it's hanging by a thread, wires exposed and all. So now I've got two broken pieces, both from things they were supposed to fix! Third visit: I schedule an oil change and, again, note both broken pieces. My husband takes it this time, and guess what? The same guy gives him the same passive-aggressive attitude, acting like we're making things up. They call later, saying they can't figure out where the part goes, even hinting that our dog might be to blame. Unreal. My husband explains exactly where the part is supposed to go, and they say they'll try again. When we go to pick up the car, they did not fix the driver seat button, would have to order the part, and return for yet another appointment. Upon arriving home, we discover that they also kept the broken piece from the rear seat! So now, we don't even have the part to show another dealership. When we called to ask if they still had it, the receptionist responds with, "Well, do you need the piece? If so, just come back up here and ask them for it." Seriously? This is hands down the worst service I've ever dealt with. The lack of care, attention to detail, and basic customer service is shocking. My husband and I both come from customer service backgrounds, so we understand that mistakes happen, but this? With no offer to remedy anything? Beyond acceptable. When you spend $50k on a car, you expect decent service, especially from the dealership you bought it from. We were thinking about trading in our Kia for a newer model, but there's no way we're doing that with Jeff Wyler again. This preowned dealership at Jeff Wyler Fairfield Kia has problems. The cars on the lot were dirty. Defects were hidden, and most troubling was the horrible customer service . I purchased a pre owned Nissan Sentra from N. In my case, a failed alignment on a CarFax service report was not revealed until 2.days after my purchase even though the alignment was checked off on the certification. The dealership allowed me to drive away in an unsafe vehicle and then ignored my repeated emails and voicemails asking for help for eight full days. When the salesman finally set up a time to meet and take care of the failed alignment TWO WEEKS after he sold me the car, he took off work. Because that failed alignment was buried and the sales department repeatedly ignored my requests for help I left feeling vulnerable and taken advantage of. I am only hoping no other defects show up. Well this may be the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my entire 41 year life.. the dealership in Fairfield is the rudest location I've ever associated with and the way you are treated is absolutely ridiculous... I drive up to buy a car and upon taking this car on a test drive I had reservations about a few things I was having go on.. I brought them to the attention of the salesman and after going home 2 hours away I thought on it and messaged the salesman who is a car guy such as myself.. he assured me that if anything like what I was experiencing was going on he was certain Jeff Wyler would take care of it... now I know buying used are mostly as is.. but the salesman and everyone in the shop assured me if it's right to fix something then they'd do their best to make it right.. after him telling me they checked the vehicle and it was all good I decided to have my girl drive me the 2 hours away to go test drive it again.. after doing so I still had some issues.. talking to the salesman and the manager who would handle my paperwork and the way that the salesman said he'd help I felt better.. I really loved the car.. After getting the deal done I was having issues getting it started in the parking lot and the guy who did my paperwork said the mechanics shop was closed but if there is any issues give them a call.. I got on the highway and about a hour away the car started giving me issues.. I called and got no one.. I texted the salesman and he said that this late notjing he could do but he'd have a manager call me back.. but guess what nothing no call no text. As the next two days pass I hook a code reader to it and guess what it has about 14 check engine codes and the transmission is having issues the clutch is having issues and the car has a tune so it doesn't display check engine lights.. I called and talked to a Miguel and he was really rude and short and very disrespectful.. after asking if he'd help with any of the repair costs he said no sorry just bring the car back and we will part ways.. I had already put a 200$ battery in the car and a starter just because it needed it.. I told him I couldn't get down to him today or maybe tommorow because I work and live two hours away... so that following day I get a call from miguel saying where is my car I'm gonna report it stolen.. I live two hours away and have to have my girl go with me and drive a car that may not even make it.. he offered no help and no solutions except to threaten me and tell me he's gonna call the cops... what in the world is wrong with this place.. next day I get car up there to return it and he doesn't come out to get the car doesn't apologize or say anything he just hides and actually no one helped me.. I had to text the salesman on his day off and he called a buddy there to help me.. they said they would mail my check for the deposit back within 3 days and as of yet I still haven't gotten that.. The customer service at this location is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. To try and make up for the horrible customer service Anthony the customer service advisor will lie through his teeth in your face. I took my car in for a scheduled maintenance appointment. Since I work customer service and I am not always able to answer every phone call I get I erased all my old voicemails to be sure my voicemail was available. I dropped my car off and immediately received a video and was told it would be followed by a phone call. It was late Monday so I assumed the call would be Tuesday. I received and missed the call Tuesday morning which I attempted to return without any success. I attempted another phone call Tuesday afternoon and again no one in the service department was available. Shortly after my partner calls and said they called him and the car was ready. I am yet to receive any phone call that I speak to someone regarding any service needed or recommended. To my surprise when I pick up my car there is a service light still on. My paperwork states the voicemails were full, which is a lie because I made sure to clear them. The paper also stated the we DENIED service which IF you telling me my voicemail WAS FULL and the only interaction we had over the phone was your telling me my vehicle was ready, when did this denial happen. Anthony has told so many lies I am not sure exactly WHICH lie he would like for me to believe. I need now to speak with the customer service manager regarding this incident because I have Wyler Care that I paid for but have NO DESIRE in dealing with this dealership and the horrible person who is supposed to be the service advisor. read more

DO NOT buy a car with Jeff Wyler Fairfield. I bought a car with Jeff Wyler KIA, the car had several issues when I first brought it in. I bought an extended warranty with them but they only fixed one issue. They told me to come back if anything else gets worse instead of taking care of it then. The problems got worse but then they claimed that the car was no longer covered under warranty all of the sudden. When I left a negative review is when they tried to contact me and claim they could do it all of the sudden and that it was in fact covered under warranty all along and begged me to take down this review. I took it down, but after three months of trying to get my car repaired like they promised, Anthony refused to take it in. Anthony is the same person who told me originally that claimed it was no longer under warranty. Anthony has also been rude every single time I've talked to him. If they ask you to remove your negative review, do NOT do that because it does not mean that they will help you like they claim they will. read more

This has been the worst buying experience that I have ever been involved with in. I have purchased multiple new and used vehicles in the past. I searched the internet for a vehicle to purchase for my 16-year-old daughter's birthday gift and found a 2017 Hyundai Accent on the Jeff Wyler Kia site that I wanted to test drive. I reached out via the "chat" option provided and was assigned a sales agent named Denisse. She seemed very personable over chat and said that I could come in that same day, at the Fairfield, OH location to test drive the vehicle - approx. 1.25 hours away from my home in Indiana. Upon arriving, I was given a 2016 Kia Forte to test drive despite initially being interested in the Accent. I am aware of how "the upsell" works. After the test drive, I told Denisse that the headlights and taillights were inoperable, but overall, it was a very nice car. She confirmed my findings. At that time, I told her that I'd like to test drive the Accent. That is the moment I was informed by her that the Accent was not even on that lot, and that it was at another location over thirty minutes away. She did offer to have the car brought if I was "set on test driving that one". There was no way I wanted to sit there waiting for a car after making that drive. I liked the Forte enough, it appeared to be a very nice vehicle, with good overall reviews, despite the issues with the lights. I moved forward with the deal after working with the sales manager to get the numbers where I wanted them. I was told that the issues with the head and taillights would be taken care of the next day, and after working with Financing, Denisse assured me that I would have the car "delivered to my home" the following day. I reluctantly agreed as I was excited to get that car home to surprise my daughter. The following morning, I was told that the car wasn't ready yet. Then several hours later, I was told by the manager that the car could not be delivered to my residence due to the "lack of drivers". I was not happy, but I understand that it is hard to always have a completely full staff. So, I had my wife drive me back to Fairfield to pick up the vehicle... only to find out that the third taillight, the PULSE taillight, the Jeff Wyler signature safety feature, that my salesperson raved about for at least 5 minutes how it has stopped traffic accidents, did not light upon braking. After this discovery I was extremely upset with the overall situation since this was not how this was supposed to happen. I explained to the manager (since Denisse didn't bother to show for delivery of the vehicle) that I was concerned and asked, "how could I know that the car had even had an inspection or service at all if they missed headlights, taillights, and their signature brake light?" This question was asked because not only did the lights not work, but there also wasn't an oil change sticker on the windshield. That made me start to question everything. He and I came up with an agreement on the spot that he would see to it that these issues were taken care of. He asked me to email him to schedule service. The following day, I spoke with the manager. He stated would have the sales agent come to pick up the vehicle from my house, provide a loaner vehicle for my daughter, and then deliver the vehicle back once the work is complete. I sent my sales agent the address where the vehicle would be parked - not at my home, but closer to the Kia location where I purchased it. Initially, I was told, by Denisse, that the car was going to be picked up on 11/10/23 "between 7am and 9am". Then I was told "before 1pm." Once 1pm started to approach, I reached out to her to ask the status and was told that it would now be 2:30pm. At 3:43pm, I received a message from Denisse that she had arrived to pick up the car, but it was not at my house. She was correct. It was not there. It is where I told her it would be... in the text message from the previous day. Now, here we are, almost the new year, and I'm being contacted that the title paperwork was never filled out. The temporary tag has now expired, I've made a payment on the vehicle, and I don't even own it yet! I've tried to speak to the manager to get a new temp-tag and was basically given an "oh well." I have emailed and explained to the person that does the "after service check" and haven't heard a word. Not even a "thank you" or a "sorry". I would like to be able to speak Mr. Wyler, a president, or to someone that is in charge and actually gives a damn about the customer. If the staff remains the same, this will not happen at the Fairfield location. I can assure you that much. I'd have to say that overall, this has completely ruined what should have been a fun, beautiful gift that my wife and I have worked hard on to gift our daughter for her 16th birthday. read more

Went in to match the offer I received online to sell my truck. Then started looking at cars. Everyone was super nice until we got to money. Offered me $6K below my offer. FYI I sold it to carmax 3 miles down the street for $10K more. Then they marked up a new vehicle $10K over MSRP. Now in this market, cars are going above MSRP but not 20% above. They have more Kia's than everyone else because they want to make a killing in each one. Well I bought the Kia I wanted in Dayton for about 4% above market. Don't be fooled by their tactics and games. And you certainly don't need their PULSE braking system for an extra $1800. Not honest, not straightforward and play a lot of games. What a waste of time. This is the abs worst costomer service I've experienced in my life. The used car sales manager cursed in my face after telling him I wanted to return the car after two days for the converter becoming clogged. They quoted me at 3600 for the repair. Took it to my normal shop and had it done for 900. Then after the third week of me owning it the car is already out of oil from the engine burning it. They won't return my phone calls for questions about my warranty either!!! Do not buy a car from this place, it's a complete joke. If zero stars were available I would choose that. My son has bad credit and bought a 2017 Hyundai Sonata at 22 percent interest rate with 500 down. Within a week oil was low he added oil and a week later low again. He took to dealership and the service technician said engine was about to blow. When asked if they could fix with warranty the service technician said to drive it until the engine blows then get it fixed. We all know warranty will call this pre existing and my son will be crewed. They are doing nothing even though they knew the car was burning oil when he bought it! Avoid this dealership at all costs. Only Kia in the tri-state area trying to charge for things that are included in sticker price, and then try to charge more than $5000 over the sticker price because the "vehicle is in demand". Save your time and go somewhere that isn't greedy. This dealership lost a sale, and customers for life. We will never return. read more

Had a meeting set at 9 am with the manager to purchase a truck. Drove 2 hrs to get there only to wait 30 min for the manager. The manager then informed me that the car I wanted was sold. A courtesy call would have been nice, but I get it inventory doesn't update immediately. Even though he said it sold the night before, I could get past it. Gave them a second shot cause the manager said they have other trucks just like the one I had reserved. What happened next? Strike 2!! The manager tried to put me into a different truck with 30,000 more miles, and a $5000 higher price. Strike 3, was when he tried to tell me this truck was perfect for me because it had a lighted vanity mirror. It's a truck, not a make-up counter. What part of "I'm looking for a V6 or V8, min 3.2L, 4x4 with tow hitch" says imma check my lipstick? Needless to say, this girl went 1/2 block away and purchased the same truck (make and model) NEW with 28miles, for the same price as this dealer offered for the used one. I purchase my 2017 Jeep Cherokee from Jeff Wyler Fairfield Kia and 7 months later I had to put $3000 into it to fix problems it had & I have receipts to prove it!!! The Female Manager was an Absolute Inconsiderate JERK when I questioned her about the issues with the SUV. I would have been satisfied if she showed just an ounce of Compassion... even I couldn't get any money back; I initially loved the vehicle - it drove well, it was clean & had low miles (the problems were things not seen without a thorough inspection)However, I do understand that I purchased a used vehicle but I didn't expect to have to pay $3000 just 7 months later to fix it. When the problems started they showed EXTREME POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I would have been satisfied if she said, you can bring it in for a free oil change/car wash/ or here's a $25 gift certificate... but they didn't try to accommodate me in any way whatsoever. #1 UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER read more

They advertised a price on their website. Checked with the dealer, yes the car was in stock at that price. Used the online trade in estimator on their website to get an approximate value for my trade. Got to the dealer, I told them I was not financing and was paying cash. They looked at my trade and brought me an offer sheet that did not show the price of the car I was purchasing, only a monthly payment. Tried to tell me that KBB "fair" value was fair market value (if you're not familiar with KBB, "fair" is the lowest rating out of 4 and is for cars with significant mechanical and/or structural problems) then wanted to deduct from that for every minor scratch and ding. Finally got them to detail out the net price after trade-in, they were charging $4k more than the advertised price, $4k less than what their own estimator gave as the value for my trade, and they were adding an extra $4k for paint and fabric protection and a flashing brake light that was never discussed. Then they held me hostage In their showroom for an hour and a half refusing to return the key to my trade-in while presenting a series of offers. They eventually agreed to sell the car at the advertised price, that I did not need to purchase the extra crap, and were only $200 off the KBB "very good" price, but after they tried to sneak in an extra $12k over a pre-negotiated deal I wanted nothing to do with them. Had to drive an extra 25 miles but worth it to purchase from another dealer. read more
