I came in at 7:00 pm on a Mon evening by myself since my wife was out of town on business. The sports bar restaurant was about 25% occupied. The sever took my order of 10 traditional wings (actually received 15) with medium sauce, chips and salsa, celery and ranch. The wings were cooked on the med-well side not slimy undercooked as many restaurants do them. I really prefer chicken done but not dried out tough. The sauce was not sloppy covering the wings and had a good flavor but was more tame with less heat for medium than I'm used to. I chose the chips and salsa instead of fries. The homemade salsa is terrific with a nice mix of spices, minced onion, and tomatoes not canned and serving is bottomless. My server came by 3 times after taking my order not including the check. I'm usually irritated by servers that come by ever 3 min as much as those that rarely check on you. Excellent meal, pleasant prompt service, plenty of big screen TVs. I'll be back to try more of the menu in the future. I just wish sports bars would add subtitles to Sports Center and conversation shows. It seems pointless to have talking heads without the conversation. Cost $9.68 for meal, $2.50 for sweet tea, $2.50 tip Total $15.78 incl tax. read more

I'm gonna give this place 4 stars only because of the amazing service that we received from the sweet bartender Holly. Thank you for your service! My boyfriend and I are from out of town, although, I grew up there and we were in town for a funeral. I know what to expect when I go out anywhere there. We were privileged enough to sit by the worst guest I could ever imagine waiting on. One named Chris tipped the bartender .03 cents...we watched him do it and since I have been in the service industry for 20+years, my boyfriend and I tried to educate him on why it isn't okay to tip that way. He obviously had some issues upstairs, so my boyfriend tried to educate him on an easy/kind level that he could understand, and tried to explain that when someone performs a service, you tip them. He then leaned over to his buddy Colton who was clearly intoxicated even though the bartender wasn't serving him alcohol at the time and began talking about our conversation. A bit later, Chris and Colton tried to enter the kitchen at closing when we were closing our tab, to which I asked why customers were allowed in the kitchen with no mask on, or uniform, or nonslip shoes...all of which are complete liabilities, and extremely off putting seeing as I have no idea where Colton's cowboy hat has been. Colton yells through the kitchen window that he's "about to work here". Colton and his special friend then leave the bar and I asked the staff if they have to deal with that often. The answer was unsurprisingly yes, they were regulars. We bought another round so I could tip extra to make up for the atrocious behavior we had witnessed and wished them all good luck. As we walked outside into the parking lot, I was accosted by none other than Colton standing behind his purple PT cruiser and dirty cowboy hat. Imagine a 20 something "man" yelling at an almost 40 year old restaurant manager for explaining how the tip system works to his special friend..from Germany...who spoke perfect Marshall country English. It was just beautiful. Luckily my boyfriend can benchpress Colton walked out mid sentence when he was in my face and put a quick end to his nonsense...but I really feel sorry for the employees there who have to put up with people like him and his non tipping friend on a daily basis. Restaurants like this should put in no serve policies for people who are abusive to staff or other guest. I hope the next time we are in town, and we visit this establishment, we are not subjected to people like Colton, or Chris, or there disgusting behavior. I hope the owners will stand up for the rights of their employees not to have to serve people who don't tip, and cause other people to not want to come back. The people who keep your drinks and food flowing have more important things to do with their time than deal with people like that. I ordered the shrimp platter and the mac n cheese was dry. It was 12.99 without tax and that is way too expensive for 12 shrimp and bad sides with some bread. The shrimp was very salty and my friend had hair in her food. My fork was dirty to add on top of that. Also a waitress pushed a gum wrapper in between the seat instead of picking it up and throwing it away . Then the waitress put her finger in my friends drink cup. On the inside it is extremely dusty and smells odd like cigarette smoke and some other weird scent. read more

Very good wings. I like that you can order a 20 piece and get 2 different sauces. Nice. FRESH good Oysters. Those of you out there that like Oysters, KNOW when they're not the freshest. Jefferson's ARE fresh. Good service, consistent. Only reason I can't give 5 stars is the Waitress we had last time, smelled like an ashtray. Breath and all. We eat here at least once a week. Up to last Thursday night we have always had good service and food but last Thursday night we had the worst service took forever to get our order and drinks taken then when we got our food the order was wrong our tea and water glasses ran out and our waitress was over talking to some guys forever and not taking care of her other customers. Also one of the other waitress dropped a cup of ranch on the floor she never came back and picked it up and several of the other waitress just continued to walk over the dropped cup of ranch without​ stopping to pick it up it was definitely a fall precaution, I hope the service gets better or I want be back. read more

I never tried Jeffersons but my friend suggested it so I decided to go out to eat with my family there and the food was great a couple of weeks we eat there about once a week it was good but I have come to know Saturday and Sunday sometimes during the week they get slammed specially football season and that's when the food isn't the greatest but it's not horrible best time to go is when there slow or not to busy there food is great I would 100% recommend the pilly it's the best or the wraps and salads if ur not in the mode for wings!. read more

Stopped by to enjoy a double cheeseburger because I think they make one of the best burgers in town. I asked the server for a side of thousand island for the burger. She tells me "That's weird. Sir this is not McDonald's." What??? Since when is it a crime to add your choice of sauce to your burger? Needless to say, I was never given the thousand island. Burger was good, service not so much. went there for lunch. i had a small tender basket tossed in hot sauce with fries and my boyfriend had 15 wings terriyaki with fries. they sat a timer down and it took exactly 30 mins... they werent busy. tables who walked in 10 mins after us got their appetizers and entrees before us. its overpriced for food that wasnt even good. plus, i asked for a cup of the hot sauce and he asked for a cup of the terriyaki since they dont put enough and it cost $1 extra BUT SHE DIDNT EVEN TELL US. like i work in a restaurant and you are supposed to tell if something costs extra. the sauces werent even filled to the top. wont be back. very disappointed with EVERYTHING. read more

I finally decided to try this place out after my son and DIL love this place. I wish I could remember our servers name she was really great even though this place was busy with the lunch rush on a Sunday. Let's just say the meal was awesome!! I ordered a boneless sweet & saucy chicken basket and my grandson who's 19 mos. old was ordered a kids grilled chicken plate. Decent food, bad service. We ate here on a Monday night, and most tables were empty. There was a large party in the party room and two other small tables besides us. They took our drink/appetizer order quickly but that's where the service stopped. When we got the pickles we asked for an extra ranch (for a party of 5) and never received it. Then it took until we got our food to get a refill. When it came to the food, one person in our party asked for a side of ranch. They brought three and charged for all three. The wings never came with chips like they were supposed to. Then when we finally got our check, she asked if we wanted a carry out. We ended up having to go get it ourselves by the fountain drink station. Earlier in the meal they blamed the slow service on the large party. Other than bringing the food/bill, no one ever checked in on us. Some of the worst service we've had from a restaurant in a long long time. We definitely won't be back. read more

Not much to the design of the interior of this place, but they do hire eye pleasing staff. The service is average and the food is okay.

I usually have a grilled chicken salad or creamy garlic parmesean wings with a sweet tea. Their food is superb, right down to the seasoned fries. And the service is amazing. The atmosphere is a bit dull, but if you go in the middle of the day, it makes a great, quiet lunch spot to enjoy good food and a book. read more

Forgot to add my review to YELP. I have come in there every Sunday for about two months. Me and my friends eat at Jefferson's Sunday's, and have for years. I moved to Arab so now we go to this one. We have decided since after two months to not continue going there. It's almost comical and we find ourselves saying, "What will happen this time." The waitresses don't even seem concerned with anything. Almost every time, we see the waitress once. If they even come up to our table. Half the time we have to go find someone to get our order. Then our food takes about 45 minutes or longer and it's always cold. This place is despicable and needs to be restaffed or have it's staff coached on the successful behaviors to incorporate. read more

Today my husband and I went at lunch to eat We were refused service because my step daughter works there. We did not speak to her, caused no problem, she simply walked up and snidely told us (her father and I) to leave because a restaurant can refuse service to anyone. She took business away just to be spiteful and vindictive. We ended up going to a much more nice place that was glad to get our business. As few people that were eating there and so many waitresses standing around you would think they would want the business. I assure you we did nothing and had no intentions of doing anything. We will never be back. We have been customers years before she came to work there. I also intend to discourage anyone and everyone from eating at this establishment. I've never ever been treated this way. I have tried to deal with the management level but was told that we would be welcome whenever she was not working. I've posted this on Facebook and it has been shared 40 times. I hope it continues. I told the local manager that an apology from her to her father would be sufficient to stop the widespread bad publicity but nothing. I just can't believe it. Very embarrassing. We ate at Jefferson's in Albertville this evening between 5 and 6 pm. It was freezing cold inside. We asked if there was a warmer place to sit, maybe away from the windows. The server said "We have no heat" I asked if it had just happened and was told "no, there is no heat and our electric won't support space heaters" We stayed and ate but with coats on as most people in there put their coats back on too. It was 40 outside. We will not be going back this time of year. The food is good but got cold quickly before we could eat all of it. Too cold to drink my beer. read more

We have driven past this place for years, and I wish we had today. I never thought that someone could screw up Nachos, until now! I've never had lettuce on nachos and the last time I looked, "Nacho" cheese is used instead of Cheddar cheese, and there wasn't enough of that. It was more like a Taco Salad over chips. No jalapeños, no guacamole, and the sour cream tasted like cream cheese. Never got a refill on my drink, nor did the server even ask if we liked the meal. Way overpriced for what we got. read more

We had even told the waitress that if they hadn't started to prepare our food yet just cancel our order. She then brought us our food. We went back last two weeks ago and sat at our table with our menu for 20 minutes and no one had come by to take our drink order. The couple beside us came in about 5 minutes after us and their waitress took their drink order right away.
