A big shout out to Jeff and his team. I had a little emergency and went to the nearest auto shop. My vehicle wouldn't go into park and I couldn't get my key out of the ignition. They took the time to immediately look at the gear assembly. They determined it was a problem with the gear knob. They showed me what to do to keep that from happening again, until I could get another knob. I appreciate their quick response, which they didn't charge me for. i took my 2003 Lexus in for repair. Jeff said it would be a couple days( which was fine with me ) but he called me around noon the very next day and said it was done. i was surprised. and while he was under there he found a mod unplugged and after pluging back it fixed my VSC light and my power steering. what a bonus. i love Jeff and wont ever take any of my cars elsewhere He's very pleasant to talk to (and he's kind of cute too) read more

Jeff's Auto repair is not your typical "Big Business" shop, very relaxed environment. I had talked to Jeff on the phone with a big favor to ask. I needed a repair to my car as soon as possible for a very important trip and time was a big issue, I needed to get on the road that day. Jeff listened to my story and said he could make it happen. I dropped off my car in the morning and the repairs were taken care of in a reasonable time. I was then able to get on the road for my 9 hour trip. The car road smoothly, I am most happy with the strut replacement. Now someone very dear to me can ride in the car with minimal pain as a bumpy ride can be most uncomfortable for her. I feel Jeff is very trustworthy and fair if not exceptional on labor costs. I will go back to Jeff when I need auto repairs. Thank you Jeff and your service team for helping me. read more

Jeff, the owner (I don't know if he has any employees), has been tremendously helpful in the maintenance and repair of my Honda Civic. He doesn't BS about things that don't need to be done, he doesn't up-sell, and he charges very reasonable prices for the services he provides. Anytime I'm in Auburn, I try to stop at his shop and get some maintenance done on my car. The phone number listed is his cell. He has been very flexible with me usually offering me an appointment that day or the next. And once I drop off my car, the repairs are done fast. Excellent Service - Honest and Knowledgeable. On 6/13 our 2002 CRV started running rough. The car was taken to the Roseville Honda Dealership. Within a few hours an initial estimate of $800 to as much as $2800. Just knew something was wrong with their estimate and didn't seem right. On 6/14 - after researching repair facilities on YELP, I found Jeff's Auto Repair in Auburn (close to my neighborhood). I picked up the car from Roseville Honda and delivered it to Jeff's Auto Repair at about 3:30PM (and I am glad that I did). By 4:00 PM I received a call from Jeff, Owner, who said that the car needed one part and after a short test was running fine. My repair bill was very reasonable (a fraction of the quote from Roseville Honda) and the car runs perfectly. I could not have been more satisfied with the service and honest business ethics from Jeff's Auto Repair. I would recommend them to anyone in need of service for their car or truck. Honest. You don't feel like you're about to get scammed. Does what needs to be done. Fair price. Great service. Finding someone to work on your car who won't make you feel like you're about to be taken advantage of because they know that you don't know as much as they do is hard to do. I found Jeff on yelp.com - so thanks to the previous reviewers! My truck started running rough all of the sudden and the service engine soon light went on. I took it to the major chain franchise near my house where I've gotten some things done in the past. They told me that I needed new spark plugs, a new spark plug wire set, and new coils - parts alone were about $700 and with labor it came out to over $1000 (they charged $110 for the diagnostic alone where they plug their machine in and it tells them the code indicating what are of the car a problem is detected). I called Jeff for a second opinion. He said to bring the truck in as soon as possible and that he'd do the diagnostic exam on his end for free. Jeff got in there and discovered that not everything that the major chain mechanic said I needed done actually needed to be done - I was out of there under $300 that evening with my truck running great. A check engine light came on in my Subaru this morning and I was able to get into Jeff's right away with no wait. He was waiting for me when I pulled up and was able to diagnose the problem immediately. He then took the time to answer my questions and explain exactly what was wrong with the car and why. I know nothing about cars but he was able to explain things in a way that I understood - not using auto jargon that would go over my head.
