Definitely enjoyed this place. If you want some good sushi or sashimi in the Loveland area this is the place to go. I got a mixture of sashimi it was tuna, salmon, I believe white tail and one other. They were all soooo good and tasted fresh and amazing. Service was amazing of course and they were so friendly. I also got some hot saki that I enjoyed. The inside isn't big at all but they do have a sushi bar you can sit at along with several tables and booths in the back. Very clean establishment. My second time there I ordered a bento box and was not impressed. For almost 30 bucks you would think it would be a little more authentic and taste a little better. I got the teriyaki chicken. The chicken looked and tasted like it was boiled and the teriyaki sauce was very watery. It also came with a variety of tempura such as shrimp and the tempura vegetables. Those were yum! It also came with a choice of soup either miso or I believe egg drop maybe, I got the miso and it was good it has the usual tofu, pieces of sea weed and something else I can't remember. It came with a small ginger salad as well. The salad was definitely fresh and crisp and the ginger dressing I just loved. I love love ginger dressing. The bento box also came with 4 pieces of a California roll, white rice and a spring roll. I will just stick to my sushi and sashimi from now on. It's definitely worth the money vs the bento box. I went here for lunch the other day, and while I should've gotten the sushi rolls specifically, the bento box was calling me. We walked in to a romantically dim area with a sushi bar as the star of the setting, surrounded by tables and a wrap around dining room that led all the way to the back. We were seated immediately and brought menus, where we spent just a handful of minutes checking out before we selected. I ordered the teriyaki salmon bento box and my dining partner ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box. Our included miso soups and salads came out - piping hot soup in beautiful stone bowls, and icy cold salads with some kind of a light ginger citrus dressing. The main course food followed almost immediately. They served a very large filet of salmon with the crispy skin on top, of tender broccoli, four pieces of a California roll, a spring roll, and a large scoop of white rice. The salmon was a fatty cut, but delicious, however I was hoping the teriyaki sauce would be a little bit thicker in consistency. The California rolls were simple and clean, and the spring roll ended up being mainly dough with just a slight hint of cabbage inside. I'll be back to try some of their other rolls in the future (and remember to take pictures before I begin eating) - I'm a sucker for sweet potato rolls and that one will be one of the rolls on my sushi lunch special the next time I'm in town! read more

The best sushi around! My husband and I have tried a lot of sushi places and Kobe is our favorite place to go. Everything we've had (which is probably the whole menu by now) is phenomenal. I really like the ambience of this place it's comfortable and friendly. The service is always very good and if you have any questions they answer them with no problems. They are attentive to your table and always seem to be very friendly. The best thing about this place of course is the food! The sushi and sashimi are the freshest I've had over the years. Was looking for a sushi place that has a large selection and gluten free accommodations. This placed seemed to have both from what I can tell, so I came on a Saturday evening for dinner. I started off with a small hot sake, which tasted fresh and clean. I then ordered a salmon avocado roll and "the Loveland roll" (See attached pictures). My waitress spoke with the chef to let him know I was allergic to gluten and lactose intolerant. I also was given a bottle of gluten free soy sauce. The salmon avocado was a decent size and contained a decent amount of salmon. The Loveland roll was also a decent size, containing different types of fish, mango, and wrapped with pink soy paper. They also gave me a nice size of wasabi on the size, which I like to mix with my gluten free soy sauce. Everything tasted good and was a decent size. My waitress was nice, and came over every time I looked in her direction. Eye contact is great so you know when your table needs something. The inside was cozy and nice for a personal lunch/dinner with friends or family. If I were to make any recommendation, I would say that the prices seemed expensive compared to other places in the area. The regular A La Carte prices were $6-$9 dollars, when I think they should be $5-$7. I didn't see and veggie rolls on the menu, which would be a nice addition. The special rolls were all between $15-$16.50, when they should be $11-$14. These high prices were what kept me from buying more sushi. For 2 rolls of sushi here it came to over $26 dollars! This shouldn't have come to over $20 if you ask me. Overall, I think this place--other than the high prices--is a good sushi restaurant. I do think you should try it if you like sushi and it's great for those who are gluten free. If the prices were lowered a few dollars, this place would be 5 stars easily, and I think that customers would return on a more regular basis. The egg drop soup was a good combination of broth and egg. The sesame dressing on the salad was tasty, not over sesame. The chicken fried rice was good although will mention that it appears they use some bacon rendering to cook it in so it may bot be for everyone. The spring rolls that came with the lunches were crispy outside and a nice mix of vegetables inside. The teriyaki chicken lunch came with chicken (properly done where fully cooked but still moist) over vegetables, California roll, spring roll,, steamed rice, soup, and salad. Definitely a good value there. The cucumber roll was very tasty and the green dragon roll was simple but very delicious where the tuna was tender and the combination of flavors was nicely done. We finished off our lunch with an order of mochi, mango, strawberry, and green tea. Decent size and they cut each one for sharing. So disappointed!!!!! They have decent fish, but they ruin it! The taking was COVERED in pure sriracha. I like spicy but this was not edible. The nigiri fish was cut super thick where you're chewing through the ligaments with fat not removed from the salmon. The pictures are SO different from what you get. read more

If Sushi is your thing - then this place can't be beat. Atmosphere is not traditional Japanese, but it is okay. The food however, over the fresh (which is what I expect whether the location is off the Hawaiian fish docs or in the mountains of Colorado), and serving portions are generous. This restaurant is not a good choice if you're not willing to pay for the quality of food you'll be served. It is pricey, but fairly so. read more
