Upon my arrival to this particular Jeni's, multiple employees kindly greeted me, and they patiently waited while I looked at the dozens of flavors of ice creams in the display cases. They gave me free samples of three flavors of ice creams and described the ingredients. I ordered an ice-cream bowl with 3 half scoops as well as a waffle cone with 2 half scoops. An employee promptly scooped my ice creams, rang up my purchase, and thanked me. Some tables and chairs were available. I rate the flavors of Sparkling Cherry Pie, Brambleberry Crisp, and Lemon Crinkle as 5 stars. I rate the limited-edition holiday flavors Pistachio Macaron and Iced Molasses Gingerbread as 4.5 stars. Some of the flavors on the Jeni's website were not available, but 5 flavors of ice creams is more than enough for me! I will try additional flavors in a future visit. read more

Love Love Love this shop. We tend to go during slower times but I never feel rushed. The staff was so helpful with explaining the flavors and providing samples. I got a signature waffle bowl with wildberry lavender, genmaicha + marshmallows, and white chocolate peppermint. All of the flavors were rich and delicious, but the wildberry lavender and genmaicha really stood out. The workers were super kind and friendly, and they allowed me to sample many flavors before deciding on my order. It's always so creamy and love the huge chunks of cake. The cinnamon roll was one of the best ice creams that I've ever had. It was all kinds of sweet, ooey gooey deliciousness. This is a terrific addition to Southside Works. Jenis ice cream is not as salty as Millie's icecream which is my personal preference, even though it doesn't taste as creamy. They also have more varieties and more unique flavors in my opinion. The new sweet potato brûlée (limited time availability) is literally autumn in a spoon - highly recommend! Definitely look at the flavors before going as I like most flavors typically, but it was hard for me to even find one I wanted. Also $22 for 3 smallest size ice cream cones in waffle cones.
