Came back to try the new seasonal flavors. Jeni's has grown on me a lot. At first I didn't love them at all. Now I get excited to try their new flavors. They are always changing them up. I also like that there is more fruity flavors. I love chocolate l, but not chocolate ice cream which seems popular at many other ice cream shops. I tried lemon blueberry parfait. This was super lemon. I wish there was more blueberry. I did end up getting this one. The biscuit and peach was more biscuit and the peach was light. Banana cream pie was actually more coconut. I should have gotten that. I also got the goat cheese with red berries. That was like a cherry cheesecake. I do like Jeni's in Sarasota. They have one in Tampa also. We came at a bad time. A time when there was like 10 little girls for a birthday party and it's a small location. The high pitched little girl voices were amplified. So happy when they left. Just don't think there's much room in this location for all of them. Outside has lots of seating too. We absolutely love Jenni's. We live in the memphis area and sadly do not have a Jenni's, so we always visit them while we were out of town. This location is located in a pretty busy, but good area where there's lots of shopping stores, restaurants and most importantly parking! We decided to get the trio waffle cup again because it's the easiest and most perfect way to enjoy a few different flavors. Once again loved the fact that the minute you walk in you will smell their amazing waffle cones! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The establishment is a little small, Although you can't sit and eat inside (due to cov-19) there's a few benches outside so you can sit and enjoy your ice cream. My favorite at the moment is still lavender and the chocolate chip with peanut butter. So, first off, the ice cream is really good. They have a number of interesting flavors although not as many different options as most better ice cream stores offer. I believe they have 8 or 10 options with only cones or cups as your choices. Here's where my main complaint comes from . . . No sundaes or specialty options. No milk shakes or other offerings. On a good note the waffle cones are made by hand in house. You can watch the employees making them and they offer small tastes of each flavor. On a bad note Jeni's is fairly expensive for what you get. A two scoop waffle cone is nearly $8 including paying $1.50 for the waffle cone. Bottom line, I like the ice cream but I'm disappointed in the number of offerings and the slightly elevated prices. read more

Thank God we finally have Jeni's in Tampa Bay! The first location I ever went to was the one in Chicago. I remember how amazingly unique the flavors they had and they were delicious! We went to the UTC location and the ice cream was just as good as I remember. The servers were very kind and they're gladly provided us with multiple samples. Everything I tasted was delicious. The price was very reasonable and the portion was not bad. The server overheard that it was my mom's birthday and her ice cream was free. I went to this location another time and they had new flavors which were also good. The place is small but really cute. It got seating areas for small group. Parking is plenty since it's located in UTC but the area gets really busy. Highly recommend to go to Jeni's to eat ice cream and chill! read more

Delicious ice cream and friendly service at Jeni's! So this is a small place that moves rather slow, likely due to the ice cream sampling...you can try about any flavor you want. Once the agony of waiting subsides you can start your selection process, from a single scoop to a flight, just like a beer sample. Probably the favorite of mine out of the ones me and my wife got was the skillet cinnamon roll. Tasted possibly better than an actual cinnamon roll! That is impressive. The staff was also super helpful. My dad was with us and he always has zillions of questions for new places, and they happily answered each one, included the obvious ones!
