Hands down the best pie I've ever had! The balance between the flaky crust and the filling was absolutely perfect. And the crumb topping? I could honestly eat it by the bag if they sold it that way--it was that good! The flowers were just as impressive--beautifully arranged, with each stem carefully selected and little water caps to keep them fresh. You can really tell they put care into everything they do. Service - The team working there was kind and caring. They greeted us warmly and helped us navigate as we visited for the first time. Selection- The selection was great for such a small shop. They had cookies and pies- some of which were seasonal. Value- we got a pecan pie and unfortunately this is where our experience turned. It looked nice, but was $47. Regardless of the tastiness of the pie, that is too much. Additionally, the pies weren't labeled with the price. We've purchased pies at other small pie shops before and they've never been more than $25. Owning that we could have asked about the price before purchasing, the disappointment really comes from being charged incorrectly and the taste of the pie. While the receipt said $37, they charged our bank $47. The pie itself left a lot to be desired. The crust was tough and flavorless, the pecans were soft and chewy, the filling was runny and it fell apart when you cut it. I would recommend this shop for anything not food related. read more

Amidst the COVID-19 affecting our region, a friend close to us who lives in the Edgewood area lost their father to the virus. To send a token of our family's sympathy, I wanted to send a bouquet to their home. I decided to give Jennell's a call to which I was grateful to hear someone answer the phone while so many businesses are closed. They were busy that day but promised same day delivery. They asked what I wanted to order to which I outsourced the bouquet building process to them and simply provided a budget and explained the intent for the flowers. I then had them take down a few words to add to the sympathy card and my credit card info. A few hours later, we received the attached picture from our friends. I was very impressed by the bouquet design and concluded it was worth the cost (~$125). Highly recommend this business for local flower delivery. read more

A great way to celebrate loved ones on occassions during a time (pandemic) when celebrating in groups has possible dire consequences/isn't responsible. Jennell was great to work with; she was patient with all my questions and all my calls! I ordered the lavender canning jar and pie slices, and was able to get them delivered for a birthday. Birthday was on a Monday, and I called in Thursday and Friday the week prior. I also had a long message, but Jennell thankfully was able to fit it on the little card (thank you again! I randomly walked into this shop last week after google mapsing (yes, that's a term) florists near me. I walked in and was slightly confused because there weren't bouquets already made sprinkled around the store, but instead little trinkets. Jannell came out, just as cheery as can be, and offered to put together a fresh bouquet for a friend's birthday based on my $20 budget. They looked really great (fail on the "insert picture here" moment)!! I'm not one who knows much about flowers, but I definitely thought I got an awesome bunch for my twenty bucks. She also talked me into buying a pie! The two flavors she had left for the day were apple and blackberry. Tough choice, but I went with the blackberry. It was a HIT at the birthday party! Several people (including me, obvi) had more than one piece and we finished it quite quickly. I stayed in the shop talking to Jannell for a while about the kinds of cakes, pies, and cupcakes she does. Most have to be special ordered in advance, but after trying the blackberry pie, I will have to go back and at least try the apple....right?! Minus one star for the price of the pie. It was twenty dollars, which is extraordinarily high. Worth it on special occasions though. read more
