This establishment gets ZERO stars, but of course in order to leave a review, you have to select a star. I am not one to leave reviews, but this place is awful. I'll start by saying 1. the gel color she starts painting my nail with, is not the color I even selected. I had to tell her that was the wrong color. 2. She wouldn't let the nails dry long enough under the UV light, when they were done, they were all streaky and had spots. She then tried to keep adding a layer or clear polish on top. She must of put 10 coats on the nails where they looked all bulky. 3. I asked for it to please be removed and I would pay for the removal, but absolutely wasn't going to have her redo my nails after being there over an hour. 4. They tried to charge me 20 dollars and I refused to pay when she did nothing, but waste my time. They then insisted it was the polish, but it was not the polish, the damn lady just didn't know how to do nails and was rushing and wouldn't let the nails sit under the UV. I shouldn't have even went here after seeing they already had a 2.3 star review. AVOID this place at all cost! read more

The worst experience ever!!!! I tired the powder instead of the gel. I had to go back 4 times! Every time I left the nail salon it would be the next day and the powder started coming off my nails. My nails are thin and unhealthy now. I gave them one star because they attempted to fix the nails the four times I went back. Also the pedicure was good! Honestly the worst manicure I've gotten in a long time. I gave this place a try because they have a beautiful new store. The price of a gel manicure was $30, which is less than most of the other places in this area. Well I should have just spent more money and went somewhere else, because this gel manicure was not good. The woman doing my manicure could care less, put little to no effort into it. Filed my nails crooked, was going to leave bubbles in the polish. I was uncomfortable the whole time because she was just giving off a bad attitude. I tolerated it and shrugged it off, went home thinking it would be OK and at least my nails were cleaned up compared to how they looked before. However, the gel polish started chipping within 3 days! This polish should last at a minimum of 10 days without chipping. It's now been a week and I have several nails that are chipped and ruined. read more

My normal salon was booked and so I made the mistake of making an appointment here. When I arrived, they were very rude, especially with it being my first appointment with them. When I was seated, the nail technician never spoke to me. She just banged on the table when to take my nails out for filing and painting. She also didn't even bother to take all the old polish off and painted over it. For the money spent, I'm really disappointed. read more

She did an amazing job, the cost was less than anywhere else, and I have gone back and every time I go, my nails look great. read more

The staff was rude. Woman who did my nails (Jocelyn?) did not even greet me or introduce herself. I only know her name because I overheard someone call her. The station was dirty when I sat down and she didn't even look up from her phone when I come over for the first two minutes I was sitting down. She cut my nails down to the skin on two different occasions, and continued to be aggressive with them even after putting the ant-bleeding gel on there and me telling her it hurts!. Not once did she apologize or ask if how she's working is ok. My nails are horrible and all different sizes. I'm more concerned with me coming in there with long nails and her cutting them down to the skin! Asking for short nails does not mean take them all the way down. I'm so dissapointed. The salon itself was nice but the service was trash and the sanitary requirements weren't there. I would not recommend this place especially not for the price. Not even an apology or lotion on my hands or nothing. Rushed and sloppy work. But am I surprised? Nail tech was lazy and disrespectful and aggressive. Disgusting. People go to get their nails done to feel better, not walk out with lesions on their fingers and sloppy looking nails. I would've done a better job myself. Go elsewhere read more

I searched near and wide for a good nail place who can give me results like I want and I found Jennifer nails! I go to the one in Fairfield, I have never been to the little falls location. Jimmy is amazing, he always does such a wonderful job with my nails. For my wedding I got them done two days prior then left for a mini moon on the beach and they lasted all 3 weeks!! All of my rhinestones / diamonds stayed on the whole time! I love a classic timeless french look, so I try to stick with the ombré nails. The hand massages vary., sometimes you get it sometimes you don't. Depends if they put the sugar scrub on your hands I guess. Prices I feel like also vary. I know it depends on the detailing but I can't exactly figure it out... Lots of nail pics since I am always obsessed with how they turn out! Hope things stay consistent with how they turn out! read more

I dont live in the area but my boyfriend does. I've still yet to find a decent nail salon like mine back on long island. Pros: - nails look very good (powder mani) -staff was nice. Cons: - no exhaust fans so place smells and the dust from filing is all over. - unconventional way of taking off old powder (soaked my fingers in acetone vs placing a dipped piece of cotton over each nail wrapped in foil, used electric file to take all polish off practically) - took 1 1/2 hours for just mani - no hand massage While I am happy with the way they turned out I wouldn't go back bc of the amt of time it took. read more

Worst pedicure ever...$30 plus tip and almost all of my toes are chipping 2 days later

I made an appointment to this place because I was in search of a new nail salon. It seemed very clean and up to par. When I got there I was greeted. I asked for a full set and a pedicure. The manager (an older man) asked me if I had a preference in terms of a nail tech but because it was my first time I wasn't sure who to go to so they placed me with a young man named Tommy. For whoever reads this please DO NOT GO TO HIM!! I asked for almond shaped nails with a gold French tip. I specifically showed him a pic of the style I wanted. They were supposed to be thin with a thin gold line and he gave me thick shaped almond nails with super huge gold tips. As for my pedicure I was done by an older woman who did a horrible polish job. Safe to say it was $100 wasted!!!!! ($70 for a full set/French and $30 for a regular pedicure). If I had to rate this place for cleanliness I would give them an 8 but as for tommy and that older lady they get a 0! What I observed is that only the Spanish girls in there know how to do nails. read more

I am never going back here. I want to start by saying i've came here a few times because it is local, and i've been on the search for a nail salon in my area that isn't overpriced. Well, their decent pricing speaks for itself. The pedicure experiences are mediocre, i always get gel and it usually lasts a while. When I come here, i get a good 2 weeks before the corners start peeling. And they don't even massage you, so if you're coming to relax or pamper yourself don't expect that experience here. Now let's talk acrylic. I am recently very annoyed with this place. The first 2 times i came i loved my nails. I got a full set and they lasted me 6 weeks! Then i got them filled and i got a good 3 weeks out of the fill. Then I come back for my routinely fill, after TWO DAYS all of my nails start lifting like they were all about to break off. (I paid $45 for the fill with tip) I called them, i come back in for them to fix it. They suggested i get a new full set since they are lifting. (meanwhile i got a full set 2 fills before this one, but ok they're the "experts"). I sit there they're soaking my nails off, i get a brand new set whatever. They still CHARGED ME FULL PRICE ALONG WITH THE MONEY I PAID FOR THE FILL 2 DAYS PRIOR. 2 weeks later after getting this new set of nails they are all still lifting and 2 actually broke off. So within 3 weeks i paid over $100 for nails that don't stay on AND looked like crap. I'm so done with this place it's ridiculous. I guess i'll keep searching! (you should too) read more

So I got a pedicure there by one of the females last week and she was great!! So I went back for SNS and wow awful....1. It's $40 and up. You would think, like other places, they would cut cuticles, give you a small back massage, ask to wash your hands so the dust comes off, use a warm towel, lotion, etc...nope nothing!!! I even asked can you cut my cuticles please?? He said "haha no. Only for regular manicures." So I pay way more for an SNS manicure but don't get my cuticles cut or anything else?? Awful.. On top of that, he didn't file the top of my nails down enough and every tip/top part of my nail feels and looks rigid. Some nails even have a, almost like a water stain / circle on them. I will never ever go back for an SNS!!! Only gave 2 stars Bc the lady who did my pedicure did a great job. read more

In 50 years of getting manicures, I have never had such an awful one. The technician was incompetent. A six-year old child could do a better job. I asked for sheer pink polish. They don't have any! I wish I could post a picture of how bad it is. I had to ask her to push back my cuticles and instead she used on of those rotating dentist tools. Went in for a gel manicure with no appointment and was taken immediately which was nice! The nail tech I had did a good job polishing my nails and I am happy with my color BUT they do not soak off gel polish properly... I am a nail technician myself and usually do my own nails but when I am in a rush I will go get them done. So I know the proper techniques to remove gel polish... sticking your fingers in a bowl of acetone for literally a minute and then taking the eFile to shave the color gel when I don't have another form of nail enhancement under the gel polish is NOT the proper way of removing.. because the machine was used my natural nail, it made my nail beds uneven which made the color come out bumpy and my nail beds sore. For $35 bucks I would hope the integrity and health of my natural nail is not compromised.. read more

I have gotten my nails done here 2 times. The first time was a while back and I was asking for an acrylic nail removal followed by a gel manicure. The woman who was attempting to get off my acrylic nails was not doing it properly and I know this because I was in an immense amount of pain throughout the entire service. I decided to give them another try. 2 people were doing my nails at once, the one woman who started my nails did not glue them down properly, within 1 week I had lifting and had already lost 2 nails. The girl who did my pedi was very sweet and nice and careful. Her name is Judy. Shes excellent!! This place gives an amazing basic pedi treatment for your Money. I would recommend it, highly. I have nothing but negative things to say about this salon. I made an appointment with my sister and my brother in laws cousin for two pedicures, two sets of acrylic tips and one gel manicure. We get there 10 minuets early and the salon is packed, no big deal, it's a Friday afternoon and we're in no rush. My sister and I were sat down for our pedicures and we were in our chairs for at least 20 minuets before someone came to do our nails and 2 people had gotten fill-ins before we had even gotten started. The woman doing my nails was absolutely terrible, this had to be her first time doing a pedicure because I don't think she knew what she was doing. She didn't scrub the bottom of my feet or my heels, she barely clipped my nails and she didn't even touch my cuticles. Then when she went to paint my toes, she didn't let me put my flip flops on, so I had to walk bare foot to the drying station GROSS, and she had to be told to put paper towels in between my toes also. Whiles she was painting my toes, she proceeded to water down my nail color with acetone not once but twice! My nails are crooked and already chipped after 4 days!! Onto my gel manicure! The woman who did my manicure was rude and didn't say one word to me at all! She was so rough filing and buffing my nails she made me bleed twice. She didn't apologize, or say anything other than "go wash your hands". Initially, after she finished my nails looked fine, but it's now 4 days later and half of my nails have started to peel and chip off. Four days! Definitely NOT worth my time or money. I will say my sister and cousin's acrylic sets did look very good, but we'll see how they look after a week. read more

Been going there on & off for 16yrs (at least) it depends on who does your nails/pedicure. Some are great others rush & to be honest the entire staff is rude 99% of the time! Not sure I will be returning, the only 2 that actually do a good job are always lazy playing on their phones/iPads it's becoming annoying & no longer "a treatment" that you are paying for. Can I give 0 stars? Run, don't walk, away from this establishment. I happen to be doing some shopping in the area when I came across this salon. I needed a manicure and didn't want to wait to go to my usual salon, so I thought I would take a chance. I walked in, asked for a gel manicure and was taken immediately. As another reviewer mentioned, instead of soaking the old gel off, the technician used an electric file. She then proceeded to use an extra coarse Emory board to file my nails so short that the tips of my nail bed were visible. She then proceeded to snip my cuticles, at one point causing my finger to bleed. She hastily polished my nails and rubbed some cream on them, all with the dust and residue from the original polish she filed off still on my hands. The entire process took 15 minutes tops. My nails looked terrible...too short, crooked, and poorly painted. The polish chipped within days and the finger she nipped ended up getting infected. A week and a half later and it had still not healed. read more

Favorite nail salon ever by far. I searched all over when I moved to Parsippany and somehow almost missed this one but it's truly a diamond in the rough. It's essential to have the RIGHT person do your nails and I finally found Trang! She shapes them perfectly & they never lift or crack. Hours are good, prices are great, the PLACE IS GORGEOUS, which I deeply appreciate, and it's SPOTLESS. I got my nails done today because I'm going on vacation and I was expecting at least a decent job since it wasn't busy in the morning. My gel pedicure came out good and I'm very happy with it. The problem was with my acrylic/gel manicure. The lady didn't not clean my nails at all or shape them the same.... She didn't even use the color that I picked and tried convincing me that 2 coats will get to the color I wanted which it didn't. On top of that they aren't even painted evenly or all around. I decided to try Jennifer nails because majority of the reviews were high and I've heard good things about them. But in my Pinyan this was probably the worst gel manicure and pedicure I've ever gotten in my life. First of all the place wasn't even clean and the staff wasn't friendly. The person who did my pedicure I might've been her first one ever my nails are uneven not the same shape and I have nail polish on my skin.
