Coming here for 2 years. They take care of u ESP if u continue to come they will remember u. Clean and welcoming. I usually do gel nails and pedi (no gel) altogether is $62. No designs. Kinda pricey but they will clean ur toes n fingers good. Make sure to bring cash, cash only!

My 5 year old can do nails better than this!

This place was awesome. They took me in right right at closing and didn't make me feel uneasy for coming in late.

Everything is clean, you feel welcomed always, and they are always willing to do whatever designs you want. Shout out to Kristen for always letting me know the prices of everything and being upfront with everything. Do you go to your fast food place and expect them not charge your when you add on for avocado, for extra ranch?!??? I've been getting pedicures (and the occasional manicure) here for about a year. After today's…read moreexperience, I will not be going back and will be taking my business elsewhere. The woman I had today was extremely pushy from the beginning, and spent the entire time trying to get me to spend more money on the services. When I asked for regular polish for my pedicure, she told me I should get gel. I politely declined. After I declined, she circled back and said "Okay. So I do gel." I again, said I did not want gel. Finally, when I went to tell her the color I wanted for my toenails (from the booklets I was given), she tells me the color I picked is gel only. Usually, when I pick a color, the employee will confirm whether I want the color in gel or regular, as the colors shown usually have both options. This time, I was told I couldn't do the color at all unless I did gel. Rather than argue, I just picked another color, but it was clear this was a third attempt to get me to do gel on my toes. For the manicure, I originally said I wanted gel. I was given the usual books of gel & polish to flip through, but the woman today also brought me several others. She told me they were "new" and "very nice". But still said they were gel polish options. I actually decided to try one of those options. Now, I figured it would probably be a little pricier (even though the woman never mentioned that), just because the woman was pushing them. Also, they had an ombré look to a lot of them, so they didn't actually look like traditional gels. From that point on, I was AGAIN, pressured into spending more money. I had to tell the woman TWICE that I did not want her to put acrylic nails on me. After that, she mentioned something about "doing the gel". And made a comment of "it doesn't have chemicals, it's nicer." But didn't specify further. I assumed she was just talking about the gel I had picked, since it was clearly a different gel than the usual ones I've picked in the past. After seeing the final price, it's clear she probably added on another cost for whatever gel option she did mid manicure. Then, she asked me if I wanted her to do ombré. Now, this was confusing to me because the color I picked had an ombré look to it in the sample. I wasn't sure what she meant, and tried to clarify by asking a follow up question of "Is the color I picked ombré? Or is this additional?" She responded with "I show you." So I figured she would do a nail, show me, and ask if I wanted that. NOPE. She just went ahead and did "ombré", for the very SHEER color I picked. The end result of which, looks like I have very faint champagne sparkles on the top half of my nails, fading down to what looks like natural nail color for the second half of my nails. Overall, it looks like a child did my nails, lost interest halfway through, and didn't finish. She never asked me if I liked what she was doing throughout this process, and I actually wasn't even aware she was done with the nails until she told me to wash my hands. After washing my hands, I came back, and she was up at the register for me to check out. She never touched my cuticles, except for clipping off any odd cuticles interfering with the gel. Barely did any of the usual "manicure" things. She basically just wanted me to spend as much money as possible, while also never discussing with me all these up-charges she was throwing in there throughout (found out after, ombré is $10 extra). The final kicker is when I went to check out. She pulled up my total, and at first, it said a total of $50 for the deluxe pedicure. Which, was perfectly normal. But then she's trying to put in the manicure, as I'm standing there looking at the charges on the screen. She then tells me to go and sit and wait in one of the chairs near the register. So I said okay, thinking the machine was frozen for a second or something. She calls me back after a couple of minutes, and here's what I REALLY didn't like most about everything. I go back to the counter to pay, and the screen with the itemized charges is gone, it just shows a lump total of $134!! She pulled it up to the final payment screen, skipping the itemized page altogether. Now, I know my pedicure was $50. So my "gel manicure" that I figured might be a LITTLE more expensive than normal... wound up costing $84!! When I went to pay via credit card, I literally held my card up to the machine to scan, she reached OVER the counter, grabbed my card, and shoved it in the machine. Which was just extremely inappropriate and unnecessary. It was literally like she wanted to show the total as quickly as possible so I didn't ask any questions, and she just wanted me to pay ASAP. The whole thing was an example of this business, and specifically this woman, trying to take advantage and just up-charge for anything and everything without being clear and upfront about the additional charges. I 100% will not be going back here. See the attached picture for my $84 ombré manicure.

This review is on behalf of my niece who got her nails done on the 21st (of July). She was leaving…read moreon vacation that same night and went to a place of perfection because she had a gift certificate. She asked for a full set of acrylic nails but the owner told her that her nail beds were too small and she recommended gel. (Of course she did because they cost more). Nails done and my niece pics a color. Her nail tech (who is the owner) shows her the chrome look.....which is an overlay of powder which changes the look of the original colors. Mind you she never says how much more it will cost. My niece likes it but has no idea of an additional cost. So now it's time to pay.....my niece was charged $120.00 for a basic gel set (no designs or jewels) and a chrome finish. When my niece asked for a breakdown she was quoted $60 for the set and $50.00 for chrome !!! I could not believe it. I have been in the nail game for YEARS! I have had chrome many times and I have never paid more than $10 extra. For those of you who aren't familiar with chrome it is similar to eye shadow and it is also applied to the nail using an eyeshadow sponge applicator. It's a powder that is rubbed on the nail and it changes and enhances the color. There is always an extra charge for "extras", but $50 for chrome is a fricken RIP OFF! I had my nails done yesterday with one of the best on the island. When I told him about this he was absolutely floored!!! He could not believe someone charged $50 for chrome! I have gone to place of perfection twice......this place is the closest to my home. It was a nice clean place but the owner if too "extra" . My sister (the mother of my niece) loves this place so several years later I gave it another try. Didn't like it and I've never gone back. So when my niece told me and showed me her nails I was very upset. Her nails were thick and the shape was very inconsistent.....and the owner was the one who did it! Although her nails weren't that great, the fact that she was charged $50 for chrome AND the price was not quoted to her BEFORE it was done was what really pissed me off. If my niece didn't fly out that same night I would have gone back with her and demanded a refund. It's absolutely wrong to not inform the customer of what an extra service will cost before doing it. SHAME ON YOU (THE OWNER) for not quoting the cost but more so for grossly overcharging for it. Beware people....:not everyone is honest and sincere as they pretend to be.

I would honestly pay attention to the Google reviews instead because those are far more reflective of the quality here. First of all, the location is super convenient; I was able to get my shopping done and my nails done all in one place. I did not make an appointment but was promptly seen for a gel mani, gel pedi, and eyebrow/lip wax. We started with the pedi. I specifically chose the Signature Spa pedicure which included a scrub, leg massage, mask and paraffin wax wrap. The equipment (such as the chairs) are a little bit outdated, but still comfortable and it really didn't bother me. The facilities themselves are clean and well kept. I was offered a beverage and had a warm and delicious honey lemon ginger tea while enjoying my service. I included a picture because you can actually see my skin glowing after the pedicure. I got a gel manicure as well which was impeccable. Steve did an excellent job and double -- even triple checked his work to make sure I loved my manicure. I did the deluxe manicure which also included a scrub, massage, massage, and mask. Then, we finished up with a perfect eyebrow and lip wax. To top it all off, I received a $10 gift certificate when my service was over - how sweet! I really felt like I was being treated like a VIP. Overall, I am so happy I stumbled upon Le's Nail Studio and will be coming back again and again!
