    Shrimp nachos

We literally waited 40 mins for NACHOS that contain "bulk" tortilla chips, "concession stand" cheese and overcooked chewy shrimp with the tails still on them! And they cost $16! Y'all got me this time, but NOT again!

Walk in this front door and get ready for some Jamaican magic!

What a lucky delicious find last night!! A group of us were walking down the street admiring the ice sculptures and BOOM! I couldn't believe my luck in finding this little gem! Angelo (owner and chef extraordinaire) greeted us with a smile and after we placed our order, we sat down and started our meal with a Jamaican Ting soda...then the magic happened...We ordered jerk chicken, shrimp curry, collard greens, yams, plaintains (of course they came out just the way we love them)! Everything Angelo brought out was delicious, then he saved the best, till last...OX TAIL! Ok, Mr. McJudgey, if you haven't had this crazy delicious meat, you get there immediately, cause he makes the BEST! It had been cooked for hours, fall off the bone, savory, flavorful, oh dammit--I'm hungry again! Angelo has been open since September, please give him some love, cause he is a little secret right now on the Delmar Loop!

This is the oxtail plate at JerkDat 702/STL!! This is not real oxtail meat this is some sort of fake meat that they are selling at an over priced value!! The owner didn't care to fix the problem so we wasted 64 dollars on this dog food!! Cause that's what it looks and tastes like!! If you want fake meat by all means eat here!!

Parking on Delmar on a Friday night is a nightmare. There is a whole process to enter, signing a waiver and uploading a pic. The inside is a chill vibe but nothing warrants an entry fee. They charge for EVERYTHING!!! 1st off what establishment does not have FREE water!!?? We opted to order ALL food NOT infused. We ordered a lamb Chop entree with 2 sides, asked for the cook to be medium. We received well done overcooked chops that did not have any seasoning. The sides were good. We ordered 2 orders of the honey Hot wings extra crispy. They taste exactly like the classic Schnucks wings they use to serve on the salad bar. An order of wings for the price should at least be 6-8 wings not the quantity they serve. Ordered a Ceasars salad and received a salad with store bought dressing, not even homemade Ceasars dressing or a suitable substitute. Ordered a side of truffle fries which were cool and the rasta pasta with shrimp. The pasta was delicious, nice flavor. Also, they had 0 drinks that included alcohol so we also had to pay for sparkling water and a cherry icee that was so frozen it sat on the table all night to unthaw and the ice chunks were so large you still couldn't drink it, to the trash it went. The serve was literally just OK. It wasn't busy and we had to consistently waive down our waitress. The music was on point. In our opinion this place is overpriced and does not deliver on what they say. Very interesting experience, we were so happy we took advantage of going on an free day because to pay a cover charge in addition to everything else would have been upsetting. Nope........very disappointing experience

We started with lobster bites and wings as appetizers, both were on point. For the main course I had the fried chicken Rasta pasta while my date went with the lamb chops -- all the food was hitting, nothing mid here. The infused lemonade was good too The atmosphere is laid-back but still feels upscale, and the staff kept everything smooth the whole night. If you're looking for something different in the Loop, Euphoria definitely delivers.

Not only were we not granted an exception on the checks as consolation for not being able to order french fries, there was no indication that this had even occurred to our server. This is precisely the level of temerity we need to inculcate in young women in our society, and I'd encourage her to apply for a job at the women's-only sports bar a few doors down if and when it ever opens. It'd be tragic if she wasn't there if and when I return, but I'd appreciate the fact that she has a greater mission. Hopefully, the deep fryer is working. It being out of commission naturally limited the number of things on the menu we could order. We were only told that we couldn't order anything that required a deep fryer, not given a modified menu or anything. I started going through each item and imagining how it might be prepared, but I couldn't muster the psychological bandwidth to continue. Hit my Cash App if you appreciate the amount of unpaid emotional labor I was compelled to contribute. It occurred to me that I might just get a burger and a side salad, but then I saw that they carry a club sandwich. I love a good club sandwich, and I figured it might make for a light, refreshing alternative, given the weather. There's an option to get a cup of soup for $1.50 extra as a side with your sandwich (no, they didn't offer to eat the charge), and I figured that might go well with my sandwich. I was kicking myself when they brought out someone else's order with the side salad. It looked really good. The Frisco Burger, or whatever they're calling it, looked good too. Meanwhile, the BBQ Beef & Cheddar Soup--the soup du jour (that's French), according to Flo--looked gross, like something your dog might cough up. But damn it was good! It was more beef than anything else. A large bowl of it might actually be too much food. (I'd still eat it, natch.) The overall flavor profile was along the lines of a good french onion soup. It was a reminder that I need to be ordering soup in restaurants more often. I wish the club sandwich was cut into little triangles and fanned out on the plate in some elaborate configuration, like at a place where rich old ladies have lunch, but I guess that wouldn't have been in keeping with the theme. Instead, it was served on the world's thickest Texas toast, with the world's dullest steak knife protruding from its center. This sounds like hyperbole, but I may have honestly been served the equivalent of half a loaf of bread. It was much more bread than I required, but at least it was fresh and delicious, as were all the other ingredients. Turkey used for sandwiches is almost never remarkable, but this was surprisingly great, as good as anything you'd get served as an entree unto itself. Nothing about this place suggests that it would have such good food, but it just goes to show you can't judge a book by its cover. The decor, the overall vibe and the lack of hospitality might not be for everyone, but don't let that deter you.

If appears they have game tournaments there too which is cool. We all ordered burgers in our party and I'm not sure if they needed up our order or if this place only has waffle fries but that's what we all ended up with at our table. I'm not big on waffle fries but they didn't taste bad. It was busy and I think our server/bartender was all over the place so ib didn't say anything. He did forget our cup of cheese sauce and took the whole plate to the back instead of just going to get the cheese sauce. The burgers were ok, a little thick for my liking but taste fine. Others enjoyed their burgers but it was a bit too much. Overall the atmosphere was cool, the decor was nice and we had fun. I think it's a place people should experience. That being said, I wouldn't return because the food wasn't for me.

It was pretty empty when I came in and I had my pick of bar seats. I loved the rustic decor with the wood of the bar and exposed brick on the wall with a lot of natural light. I was able to try a few beers before picking one and the bartender was helpful in selecting one I'd like. A plus to me that they brew their own beer in house. If you're a beer drinker I definitely recommend coming in for one. For food I ordered a cup of Mac & cheese and later the porchetta louie. Mac & cheese was just ok I personally think since it's noodles with a liquid sauce vs baked serving it in more of a shallow bowl would be better as the sauce pools in the bottom and the cup is too small to stir the noodles. Also using a smaller noodle would help with this as it kind of felt like I was just eating noodles. The porchetta louie was GOOD STUFF, I recommend! I do wish there was more pork to the sandwich because the cheesiness of it was a little overwhelming but the kale and peppers perfectly compliment the fatty of the pork and the richness of the cheese. Will order again! I'd also like to say their house cut chips are the real deal! So addicting! Perfectly crispy and salted and a great portion. Overall a great experience. The bartender was lovely, beer was great, the service and kitchen was efficient, and the food was great. I'll definitely bring some friends and come back again

The dressing was just right, not too much and had a bright, vinegary flavor. The sandwich came on a brioche bun and it was so soft! I was happy with the sandwich, the chicken was cooked perfectly, and the avocado ranch was good. Great for a late Sunday lunch, quick and easy with good service and great food!
