The gentlemen tend to be more receptive and accommodating. The woman, that I've encountered, on the other hand, she tends to be a bit brash or less courteous to say the least. On vacation and found this spot on yelp, it definitely did not disappoint! Had the Jerk chicken meal and it was very delicious! Perfect amount of spice with the Chicken and the cabbage and plantain bananas were flavorful and delicious. My husband had the oxtails and was equally happy with his delicious choice. Just like your typical Jamaican restaurant. They cheat you out on your meat. I paid $25 for 2 small plates (curry goat and oxtails)and side of Mac and cheese. When I asked for more meat, the lady snarled at me. I should have just walked out even though the plates were made. Paid all that money for rice, cabbage and plantains and tons of BONES. My husband was in search of some fresh carrot juice like he used to get from a Jamaican restaurant in Jacksonville when we lived there.. Though they do not serve the juice, we found the food to be plentiful and delicious!! They have 3 different sizes ( mini, small and large ) and prices are great as well as the portions.. I ate off my small twice.. My hubby ordered some saltfish fritters, which I thought sounded horrible.. I was wrong.. they are pretty good.. reminded us of my mother in law's seafood croquettes which r so yummy.. just make sure u enjoy them hot! I got the Oxtails with rice and peas ( meals are also served with cabbage and plantain ).. and my husband had the curry goat with red beans and rice... We both were very pleased with our meals..
