Hello everyone, I am a customer that was so angry with Jeromes for taking so long to remedy a warranty issue regarding my couch. I was not a happy customer! In their behalf, I want so say that I needed to have my couch replaced again . Jerome's had my sofa replaced within a couple weeks! Yay! I would like to think that my Yelp review is what made the difference but I'll take it as a win....hopefully they saw the need to change how they do business. I'm pretty disappointed. I purchased a couch for a few thousand dollars ($2k+) from Torrance location. I was offered the option to purchase additional insurance in case there's any damage or cleaning needed for four years, which I was then told, if it was unused, that insurance would turn into a $250 credit. Sounded great. I actually needed to use the insurance because I found out that the zippers on the cushions are very cheap and just pop in the middle, causing them to need to be replaced even though the couch is very unused. I contacted the insurance and they said this was not covered. However, if I tore the cushion up. they would then replace the cushion. Makes no sense. Needless to say, I had to pay out-of-pocket to repair their cheap item and now that I am eligible for this supposed credit, I am finding out that I have to spend $600 to get the $250 credit. What a scam! This is bad business and unfortunate. I will definitely not be making any big purchases at Jerome's. read more

Had a very good experience buying a platform/sleigh-style bed here. My GF and I decided (on a whim) to do some shopping for a new bed and we stopped at Jerome's. Sam greeted us promptly and they had a bed that basically had all the features we were looking for. We needed to mull it over and I came back a couple of days later and was helped by Michael G. He answered a few more questions for me and wrote up the order. They scheduled the delivery for a couple of days later and kept me in the loop via their phone text system. The delivery/ assembly crew were very professional and put the bed together really quickly and efficiently. Cleaned up all the boxes too. I have absolutely zero complaints about my experience with Jerome's furniture. It all went very smoothly. Hopefully, there are no durability issues with the bed itself, but based on this recent experience, I have no trouble recommending this store to others. read more

We had a great experience at Jerome's thanks to Byron. The whole staff was attentive, but Byron truly went above and beyond. We never felt like he was trying to push or "slam" a sale like we've experienced at other places. We previously had a really bad experience at a Bobs in mid city where there were hidden charges and the delivery fee wasn't explained honestly. We decided to check out Jerome's, Byron was completely transparent. He broke down every charge, explained what we were paying for, and made sure my parents understood everything. We also got 0% interest for 12 months, which was a huge plus -- and most importantly, my parents left happy with their purchase. Byron listened to exactly what they wanted instead of trying to upsell them into something else. We'll definitely be coming back to purchase more and will happily recommend Byron and Jerome's to friends and family. Highly recommend! read more

I went to Jeromes to replace a TV console I had returned because it was infested with beetles. Joe, the salesperson, was amazing -- he took the time to check inventory and found the exact console I wanted as a floor model marked down to $580 from $1,300. His honesty and customer service were outstanding. Unfortunately, the manager, Juan, tried to charge me the full price at first, and when I pointed out the sale price, he then insisted I had to use my balance within 30 days -- even though corporate had already confirmed that wasn't true. Once he realized I was right, his attitude changed for the worse, which was disappointing. Joe made the experience great, but the manager's handling of the situation left a bad impression. I hope the company recognizes and appreciates employees like Joe who truly care about customers. Igave 2 stars because Joe deserves 5 stars. Juan deserves a -3 stars. read more

Jerome's sells crap and doesn't stand behind it. We purchased a sleeper sofa but the one they delivered doesn't lay flat like the one on the showroom floor; instead it is raised at the head and feet and dips in the middle. I brought this to their Customer Service person, Erika, who looked at the one of the floor with me and verified that it lays flat. But the store claims it's supposed to be up at the top and bottom (which the floor model is not) and refuses to fix/replace it. I can deal with a defective product if the company stands behind it and replaces it but Jerome's doesn't do that. They don't stand behind what they sell. read more

I was looking everywhere for an artificial fig tree to add to my home, and Jerome's had exactly what I needed. I found an artificial fig tree that was reasonably priced at $39. Other fig trees I've looked at were anywhere from $50-100 so this was definitely a steal. It was high quality and looks realistic. The workers were so nice and helpful. I was constantly checked on to see if I needed anything. Customer service was excellent. Definitely recommend coming here! read more

The furniture is good BUT Do Not buy the furniture warranty. The sales associate, Kevin said the couches could be re-stuffed and cleaning can be done, even with minor stains. I am looking to replace my living room furniture. About 2 weeks ago, I was at a friend's and noticed that he had a very comfortable leather sofa and decided I wanted one like it. So I went to Jerome's ready to make a purchase, but I couldn't get anyone on the sales staff to help me. I started to walk up to 3 different sales associates, and each time as they saw me approaching, they turned and walked away from me. So I left. Between the drive, well over an hour each way, and being in the store for over a half hour, this is 3 hours of my life I'll never get back. I bought this dream seating power reclining couch in May of 2020. The color and fabric is nice. That's all. The stitching started coming loose after the first year. The fill on the seat disappeared so you only sit on springs. The usb portals stopped working the first year. I paid $1400 plus tax and shipping. Yes ot was a sake price marked down from $1999. Still I think expensive considering it didn't hold up. They offer 1 year and that's barely how long it lasted. You have to purchase coverage for additional years of coverage. I think there should be better protection for consumers on these items. Maybe offer buyer protection for 5 years for any furniture over a certain price. A couch over $1000 has a 5 year warranty on internal defects or stitching. read more

This place does not handle business well at all. Everyone on this team from sales, managers, to customer service has zero communication skills. I went in and made an all cash payment for a bedroom set and (in person) scheduled a delivery date. A few days later, I get a call from a manager saying an item I ordered is not available, but they will supply me with a replacement (headboard without the lighting) until it becomes available. The manager confirmed I was still scheduled for my original delivery date and should be expecting everything. I was told by customer service I should receive a call the day before delivery to specific time of delivery. Delivery day comes, and I still haven't received a call, so I call the store to ensure my delivery is still coming. At this point I have my entire bedroom cleared, had carpets cleaned, my child cannot get into their room and I have other things on the balcony all to clear space for delivery. The customer service rep I called them tells me I am not scheduled for delivery for the promised date. We go in to the store later that day to ask for either a delivery date or refund. They could not give us a delivery date that worked, so we asked for a refund. We paid ALL CASH, and this business is still unable to issue a refund in cash. That makes no sense. I am told I have to wait for a check in the mail that could take up to 10 days. It has been over two weeks, and I still have not received my refund. Meanwhile, I purchased another bedroom set from a different business, and they were able to deliver within less than 48hrs of purchasing. I called today to ask for an update on my refund check, and I am told now that the accounting team never initiated the process to issue the refund until 6 days after I visited the store and requested a refund. In total, my waiting period for a refund could take up to a month. Just terrible all around. I would not recommend purchasing from, or even stepping foot in this business to anyone. Hello folks! If ever you have paid attention to the Yelp reviews,pay attention to this one. Provided in this review is a photo showing the terrible quality material used. It's only me and my wife that live in the house and after 7 months this is what it looks like. Please notice that there's no weight on the couch so if material was of a decent quality, it would still be taunt and not loose. They have a 2-step around the insurance policy so it would be a huge mistake to purchase an extended policy. Unless you want to throw your money away, steer clear of the extended warranty. They sent a repairman out to "fix" my sofa. He pointed out that the sofa needed additional parts and that he would put in for the additional work. Days passed and when I called to see what was going on I was told that they had completed the repairs and closed out the work order. I was very upset because that was not the conversation I had with the repairman! So I had waited 2 months for him to come out and was now told I would have to wait an additional 3 months for them to order the parts. If things happen like they say that they will, it will be over 5 months to repair my couch. The couch continues to break down and I'm sure that additional repairs will be needed by the time I get the parts that are needed at this point in time. My warranties have done "nothing"! Should have been replaced under manufacturers warranty but this is where they pass the buck. My additional warranty I purchased doesn't kick in until after the 1st year...so it's worthless! By now I think you get the point. You would be a fool like me to even consider buying from Jerome's. Do not purchase the extended warranty it's worthless! Never again Jerome's! Their Queen sized mattress is a joke!!! This bed started to sag on the edge on my side of the bed after 1 year of ownership. Now you cannot sleep on near the edge without falling off the bed. Their "inspector" has been out here twice and both times tells us that yes there is an obvious problem, but once he gets back to the store the story changes and we receive a denial letter stating that there is nothing wrong. Look at the pictures attached and you decide if there is nothing wrong. I have refused to buy any more furniture from Jerome's until they do the right thing and stand behind this defective bed. I am willing to accept the amount paid as credit towards a new King- sized bed, but will never buy another one of theirs. I will stick with tried and true brands like Serta, Sealy or another quality brand. I will now stop paying and will take them to small claims court if they continue to try and collect on the money we still owe. Someone from Jerome's reached out today. A week after the new (and correct) cushions showed up unannounced at my door in huge boxes, crowding my living room. Four days after I hurt my hand and back trying to get the old cushions out of the covers and replace with the new cushions. This is the work of sorcerers, getting these cushions in and out of these tight couch casings. 24hrs after I picked up my cushions from a local upholstery shop with really nice guys that made my cushions look new in less than 24 hours. Too little, too late Jeromey Rome. I have bought my last piece of furniture from you. Hopefully others take heed. And anyone that got crap sofas, chairs, cushions or pillows from Jerome's and you want to make it look new again for less? Hit up Carlson Upholstery in Bellflower, CA! I bought a bedroom set and the furniture slowly fell apart. Keep in my mind, I went out of my way to take care of the bedroom set(storage bedframe, night stand, dresser, and dresser tv stand) I paid for the warranty and for the assembly. 4 drawers will not close properly over time due to poor assembly in the past. I reach out to file a claim and it was denied. The furniture was not damaged because of me but because it was poorly put together so now the furniture is not functional. Leather surfaces began flaking off around 2 years after purchase, and has gotten progressively worse since.This is even on areas of the sofa where people seldom sit. Bummed. We bought a sectional with insurance. We knew we would be moving soon, but the salesperson made it sound like the coverage is complete and national. I recently made a claim from a tear in a highly visible spot on the sofa, only to find the material is no longer available. We had specifically asked about that at the point of purchase, and were assured it was "one of (our) most popular items," and would be around for years. I've purchased furniture through other companies and their customer service was great BUT I WOULD HAVE NEVER IMAGINED a company as large as Jerome's would have the WORST customer service imaginable! The buying process was quick and convenient, our items were delivered but damaged. I took pictures and contacted customer service immediately. They told us someone would be in contact within 48 hours (their FAVORITE PHRASE), no one contacted us. After numerous days and hours of calling, texting, emailing, and chatting with different people on customer service we finally had a representative from the 3rd party team visit our home. The representative was extremely late and no update or communication was provided to us. We thought he wasn't going to show up that's how late. Finally the representative entered our home, assessed the furniture, and stated it could NOT be repaired. He said someone would be in contact with us within 48 hours, no one called or followed up. We began contacting customer service to address our concerns in July 2022 after our funerary was delivered damaged. We have called, text, emailed, and even contacted the representative who sold us the items to address our concerns. Each time we reach out to customer service the process starts over with no audition, which is extremely frustrating. We've sent numerous pictures and have done our part in communicating our concerns. The customer service reps do not communicate with one another and this results in numerous mishaps like another representative coming to your home to assess the furniture for the 2nd time without a solution, and no follow up within 48 hours. Our furniture has only become more damaged since the items were delivered to our home in July 2022. We as consumers just wanted for our concerns to be addressed in a timely and supportive manner but instead we have no solution. We purchased a sectional from Jerome's less than three years ago. It has started to peel and one of the USB plugs is no longer working. They sell you a warranty plan from Guardian which is a shame. (read the reviews before you purchase wished I had) This company denies any claim you submit with fine print and I'm SURE Jerome's knows it but, they continue to push the warranty. My advice is, if you buy the furniture, don't bother with the purchase of the warranty. It's not worth it!! I also filed a complaint with the BBB. read more
