It brings back memories of being at home. Not like some restaurants that you are just another customer, but like eating somewhere you have established bond with the place. I didnt want to venture too far off I-10 and this place looked intriguing so I stopped. This place is like a flashback in time, looks like the place is quite old but its still running very well. Two ladies both with white hair were running the show and doing g a great job! As soon as I walked in, one of the ladies says to me, "anywhere you like." And since I like sitting at the bar, thats where I sat down. Waitress immediately carded me which always makes my day haha. She took my drink order and my food order and got working on it. Very fast and efficient and everything worked out nicely. I needed some real food after a weekend of intense caving so dont judge me as I opted for some protein and fries. Interesting atmosphere with flamingos galore and other things decorating the inside. Gives it somewhat of a party and fun feel. Food comes out in a timely manner even when they are very busy. Prices are reasonable. Give it a try, I think you'll like it. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here.
