We have been frequent and normally satisfied customers of Little Anthony's for 25+ years. Up until recently there has never been an issue that warranted us asking to speak with a manager. Now there have been two pretty complete failures in only a couple of months. The first one involved getting getting food cold and waiting until over halfway through the meal for at shake to show up and it wasn't even blended completely. There were large chunks of unblended ice cream in it. Now for tonight. We got there and they were fairly busy. They got us seated in a reasonable amount of time. We were at our table long enough to figure out what we wanted before the server came to ask us for our drinks so we ordered everything together. Queue a 30-minute wait. We got one refill and a promise it was going to 'be up in a couple of minutes'. We waited another 10 before deciding to leave. The order FINALLY came up as we were getting to the counter to play for the drinks (which they didn't offer to comp), so they asked us if we wanted it bagged up to take home. We said yes they bagged it up, charged us full price, and when we got home the role for the salad had been crushed. The chicken on the salad was cold. The onions rings with the tuna melt were old and gummy. If this is the service and quality of food we can expect from Little Anthony's now, we won't be coming back. I had a terrible HANKERING for biscuits and gravy. No one ever gets it right. I looked through pages and pages of mixed reviews. I finally landed on Little Anthony's Diner bc the picture looked the most appealing and closest to what I was expecting. Did a pick up order 7/8/26 around 10:50am; customer service was great. Bc I called close to 11am the woman stated they were serving lunch. I stated I really wanted the biscuit and gravy and the woman asked the kitchen if that was okay; which they obliged. This was a deliciously classic and perfect rendition of what I want when I eat biscuits and gravy. There was lots of sausage crumbles and flavor. Bc the pieces were so small it made for a perfect bite throughout the whole dish. I could not believe how good this was. I'm sad I only opted for the the single biscuit and gravy (5.49) and not the two (6.49). We tried to get a late breakfast/brunch at Little Anthony's Diner in Tucson Arizona, but they stop serving breakfast at 11am. No worries... early lunch! The place is a throwback to the 50's diner. Cool atmosphere and memorabilia! The ice cream and desserts looked amazing! The food was ok, but it took forever to get our order. Good food with large portions and awesome staff in an old school diner vibe. It's been a while since I've seen this trifecta. The deserts are awesome and I saw them heaping scoops of ice cream in the shakes. The mud pie we swapped ice creams because my kid isn't a fan of coffee ice cream and they were happy to oblige. Great place for birthdays as the staff was singing to folks throughout our time there. Small arcade too. It's affiliated with the theatre and pizza shop next door. The food is pretty standard diner fare and nothing particularly memorable, but they have some fun eating challenges and it's a great place to go with a group of friends. Stopped in here again and thought we were going to have a server problem again after sitting for 22 minutes without a server coming by. A server from another section was walking by and we flagged her down. She was going to find the server that was suppose to be working our section but then she said she'd just work our table instead, and so she took our order and she did everything great. The server that helped us out was Kalani. Big shout out to Kalani. I enjoy their blue plate specials and I had meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Huge portions. Excellent flavors and it all does taste homemade. I was pleased with the meal and the service once we flagged down a server. The meatloaf dinner reminded me of something I'd have out in the Great Plains while chasing storms, and that's a beautiful thing. read more

This was a busy local diner that I came across looking for good food for kids. When we arrived, there were classic cars outside and people were moving in and out of the place. Seemed like the place a lot of local families visit. When we got inside, the lobby area was packed but the hostess took our name and found us a table in about 10-15 minutes. The waitstaff was knowledgeable, friendly and patient with the kids. She took our order and the food was quick to arrive. I got a chili cheese dog. This footlong monster was a ton of food. We had a hard time finishing it. Has to skip desert this time. The interior had lots of nostalgic memorabilia like a rotary phone on the wall and records of classic rock stars. The kids we confused by what they were seeing which I found humorous. If you are in the area, get in there and have some food, but I would suggest saving room for dessert. read more

We celebrated 4 family birthdays here! When we walked in we were greeted by a happy and friendly hostess! She took us to our table and were met there by the manager Ashley. She made sure that we knew that she was there to assist with any of our needs! Our server Amanda was so friendly, efficient and fun! The food was great, the menu had a nice selection and the prices were really reasonable! The atmosphere was so light hearted and 50's kind of fun! To top off the day they presented each birthday person with a huge ice cream sundae! They came out and sang Happy Birthday and the customers around us sang too! I only wish that I would have taken a photo of the sundaes! They played my mom's favorite song ( her 97th birthday). We had a wonderful time! A place like this is hard to come by these days! So glad we came here such a great dinner experience with Elvis and Marilyn Monroe they also have a lot of different classic cars and hula hoops kids can play with. Inside is even a small arcade. I wanted to share an experience we had recently. We don't often go to Little Anthony's, no reason, just not a place on our regular list... but it was one of my son's favorite places to eat. My son passed away July of 2022. My family decided to go to Little Anthony's to celebrate what would have been my son's 27th birthday, 06/30/2025. When we first walked in, it was slow.... I wasn't sure if more of our family would show, so we ordered for who was there. Everything was great. Food was hot and tasty. Place started getting busy, now I'm getting worried because now we know more family is coming and I'm feeling horrible for taking up this table. The rest arrive, orders are taken, food arrives and everything is great. My reason for sharing was to actually SHOUT OUT to our server through out all this. She was incredibly polite, caring, sweet, tentative, refilled, checked up on us, brought everything we needed and dealt with the add on family member's. We got here early for dinner and were seated right away. We've eaten here a few times and it's always been good. It's a popular place, especially if you're going to the Gaslight Theater. They had an Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe impersonator that really played to the crowd as they went from table to table to croon to each customer individually. As a 70s child, I didn't witness the 1950s era filled with Doo Wop, stylish movies and fashion. Yet, I'm strangely sentimental about it. But, I also love those '50s' inspired movies though like Grease (one of my favorite movies), Diner and Back To The Future. So when I did my Tucson research, this baby came up and I tagged my daughter into coming here. Little Anthony's Diner outside+inside is a big mix of excitement and (movie) nostalgia. These folks are knee-deep serving up the classic diner experience. You're getting all the bells and whistles of a 50s styled diner: bright, cheery, black and white checkerboard floor, of course booth seating (only a few I think), retro dining tables with ribbed chrome steel edges, red vinyl+chrome chairs and wall accessories. There's a counter and stools up front- though not sure if it's available for seating. My daughter went for a veg omelette+diced breakfast potatoes+toast. I kept my breakfast simple with 2 over-easy eggs and a stack of buttermilk pancakes to share with my kid. I think she and I could've ordered another. Why? Because we'd both had just one pancake elsewhere the day before and it was doughy. The buttermilk pancakes here have the perfect balance of buttery richness, fluffy texture, with those damn good, golden brown edges that give you just the right amount of crispiness. Check it. These folks don't stop here- my mimosa with mango nectar was terrific and was a nice send-off before flying home. However their story began, they brought their vision to light. Our main server Genesis was a doll and so were the other ladies. I'm happy they're around even if I don't live in Tucson. As soon as you come in, you're greeted by multiple servers and they make sure that you have a seat after that the service is decent and the food is homestyle diner. This is such a fun little gem! Came for lunch on Sunday and was such a good time! They had 50's music playing and a DJ that got the crowd interacting! They have a really good fried combo with zucchini, mozzarella sticks and onion rings! The onion rings were so good! Got a great strawberry shake! Little Anthony's diner was cool. I went this past Saturday evening with a group of four. I originally was planning for a larger group and attempted to make reservations. However, there is no button on their website for this and they did not answer when I called. But upon getting to the host stand, I heard them ask the party in front of us if they had reservations. I was shocked to find out that they do actually take reservations. Anyway, the group went down to four so we had a shorter wait of about 25minutes probably longer. It was 6 o'clock and extremely busy at the restaurant. There was also a car show out front which was pretty cool and helped to pass the time though it was also super hot. The booths seem to be pretty small with less room so be ready for a tight squeeze If you have a party of four! Their menu is huge, love that they had so many options! I ended up getting wings with two flavors. The sweet chili flavor was right up my alley! My husband got chili cheese fries, which were pretty tasty. I also got one of their huge shakes... the s'mores one. It was good but basically straight ice cream. It came with another cup of ice cream too lol. That's okay. I took it home and let it melt and then I had a milkshake the next day lol. I really wish there was more graham crackers with it though because the s'mores aspect of it (the Hershey's chocolate on the outside cup, the 2 graham cracker squares, and the marshmallows) was my favorite part of the dessert. They also had entertainment .. Elvis and Marilyn Monroe. They put on a cute show and did their job. I do, however wish that the restaurant didn't seem as stuck in the 50s when it comes to diversity. I have been a customer of Little Anthony's for many years and have visited countless times. Until this past Saturday, 1/31, I had never experienced rude or dismissive behavior from the staff. We gathered for dinner to celebrate a friend's send-off. While our server was polite, we often felt overlooked, possibly due to being seated in a corner. It took an unusually long time to place our order, and even longer to receive our food. We informed our server that we wanted to wait before ordering milkshakes. Shortly after, a manager approached our table and told us we had to leave due to a time limit; something that was never communicated to us by our server. The manager's demeanor was abrupt and unprofessional. Our check was never brought to the table, and when we stood up to pay at the front, we were told goodbye before being asked for payment. We had to explain that we still needed to pay our bill. At that point, the staff asked if we wanted to place our milkshake order, but we declined since we had already been told to leave and no longer had a table. This experience was unacceptable and far below the standard I've come to expect from Little Anthony's. read more

I absolutely love the space busy or slow. Amazing service amazing food 100% worth the money and food burgers are humongous barely can finish all of it. Very delicious.
