Bear Down Chicago Bears!! My husband and I recently discovered Jerry's Tavern and are now hooked. This place is the spot to go if you are a Bears fan. The bartenders are great and very efficient. They have a good amount of televisions in the bar as well as two outside. Jerry's has all sorts of fun signs and sports gear hung on every square inch of the walls and ceiling. Seems like the bar has been up and running since the 70's but I belive it's only been there a few years. The only criticism I have for Jerry's is the food selection. I don't eat meat and can't eat cheese. The only thing I can typically eat are the fries. The fries are super tasty but sometimes if I'm there for a long time I want something more substantial. Jerry's The pride and joy of Portland for Bears fans!

Cheers to the friendly midwesterner who bought me a Jell-O shot at the bar and said "heck ya" when I asked if he would get one for my Dad too. Pops enjoyed his first Jell-O shot. High five to the friendly midwesterners that let us join your table so we could sit down and eat our wings and now we're all friends til the end. A nice warm handshake to the nice young gents that joined our table and chatted up my old man. All of you people make this place special.

Being a native cheddar head, Jerry's was a mental trip back to the motherland! Walking in we were welcomed and grabbed a booth. They took our drink order at the table, and we ordered food up at the bar. We got some cheese curds and I tried a burger. The cheese curds were fantastic, the breading had a great little zest that took them up a notch. The burger was fresh and juicy, with the bun being nice and fresh. I did get onions on it after asking for none, I'll have to be more clear next time. Other than that, the meal was great. Great food, great service!

Amazing food and amazing vibes We were here for NFL playoffs and I wouldn't want any other environment. The service was great, prices amazing and food fantastic. One of the best wings I've ever had. And the cheese curds Low key don't want to give it a five stars cause I don't want more people coming to visit. Love this place

Jerry's is the place to be for football game day or any day. Great staff, tasty fare (godly cheese curds), and immaculate vibes. Enjoy a Sunday here this season and return on Monday because you had so much fun. Go bears.

Was a great place to watch a game! They had the volume on, was pretty packed but not too big. The wings were surprisingly pretty good and nothing took too long to come out. Fun environment.

Jerry's is a great locals spot with a Midwest vibe. Everyone seems to be a regular, the food is great bar food. Best wings in town. Friendly bartenders, friendly customers, reasonable prices. Excellent spot to watch a game. Only problem is that it can sometimes be too crowded to get in and it's a little bit out of the way.

As a born and bread cheesehead, I am excited I found Jerry's. The food is great, try the curds. If you feel adventurous, try a "Pour Decision" Malort and Underberg. I know, I know. The staff is amazing, even to my boys. If I see you there, I'll buy you a Point on tap, even if you're a FIB.

This place is somewhere I literally just found out of nowhere getting off the plane. I am from Vegas and I love dive bars. The shift drink with vodka is BOMB! Ambience is on point. Morgan the chef was phenomenal with the customer service and cuisine. They hooked it up! Thanks Morgan! Jerry is a cool a** dude. And I wish this establishment many years to come. I can't wait to visit again!

Walked in for a drink, stayed for the vibes! Chill ambience, awesome bartenders, and wings that are *chefs kiss*. Feels like home (but with better drinks). 10/10 would recommended.

This place looks like it's been plucked directly from the Midwest and dropped in Portland's NW Industrial area. It also looks like it's been here for years, not days. It feels cozy and familiar without trying too hard. I have been following Jerry's journey for the past few years. From his condo-made tavern style pizza during the pandemic to his short stint slingin' pies at Bear Paw; I selfishly wish it was available at Jerry's Tavern. ... Those checkerboard tablecloths are practically begging for it! The cheeseburger was good. Hamm's on tap was cold. I will visit often.

It's 10 a.m., and I'm sitting in Jerry's Tavern. The kind of place that feels like a refuge for the damned and the divine alike. The air smells faintly of old wood, stale beer, and something fried--a scent that whispers promises it's going to save your life tonight. And you believe it. Jerry's isn't just a bar. It's a cathedral of character, a joint so authentic you half-expect Tom Waits to walk in, mumble something poetic, and collapse into a booth. The man himself, Jerry, is behind the bar, slinging drinks like he was born for this. He's part bartender, part therapist, part shaman. He could be my dad if he wanted to, but this morning he feels like my brother--the kind who'd bail you out of jail without asking questions. And then there are the cheese curds. Dear god, the cheese curds. They're not just fried hunks of dairy--they're miracles. Golden, crispy exteriors that give way to molten, salty perfection. God made these with both hands. Pair them with a Miller bucket, and you'll forget whatever nonsense brought you here in the first place. Jerry's Tavern doesn't care who you are, where you've been, or what you've done. It's here for you. Best bar I've ever been to.

Is Jerry’s Tavern wheelchair accessible? We’d love to go but my husband is wheelchair bound.

Yes they are wheelchair accessible. I tried to post a picture but failed. If you go on their instagram they have a photo of the entrance with 3 guys dressed up as Cows(Wisconsin roots), and it's flat. They need to add that feature to their site.…

The crab fried rice is a fan favorite for good reason--it's flavorful, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. My personal favorites are the samosas and the roasted cauliflower, both of which are full of amazing spices and prepared with so much care. What really makes Nom Nom stand out, though, is the people behind it. The owners and chefs are genuinely welcoming and passionate about what they do, creating an atmosphere that feels just as memorable as the food itself. Whether it's your first visit or your tenth, you're always treated like family. Great food, wonderful people, and a warm, inviting experience make Nom Nom one of my favorite places to eat.

I don't know if we came on a bad day or is it just bad?…read more We got the wings and they were so small that three of them would equal the same size of a wing at another proper place. But even worse, they were so dry that it felt like it was heated at 400° for 30 minutes. And for $16 that's horrific, I would say that this is like the wings you would find at a dive bar at 11 PM with no choices, and they would probably only charge you about $8 to $10. The Momo was just simply not good. We got the chili chicken and they were extremely small, over fried, and the sauce taste just like a store-bought, sweet thai chili sauce Lastly, we got the nacho for nacho week and oh my God was that a disappointment as well. It came out extremely cold, and it might be intended to serve not hot, but this was like straight out of the fridge cold. If you look at the pictures they have on the nacho week website, it looked nothing like it. It was a disgrace as it was probably 90% nacho in 10% everything else. If you split up the toppings, it would only need about four or five chips before you've exhausted all the toppings that came with it. Then you're left with 90% of just tortilla chips. I don't know how this place got so many good reviews but either this is a really bad day, but we got three separate dishes that were all bad, but I'm inclined to think that it's just simply bad.

Walked in and was pretty surprised there was no one around. (Head-scratch) OK, I'll try them anyways. No one at the counter either. I checked out the menu board and just waited, np. Out comes, possibly the owner or cook, whom was helpful about the types of wings and sauces but that was about it with the interaction. I guess helpful enough, even thought I've never been here. So I went with the 12-piece Bone-in Wing Combo (@ $29.49), which also comes with fries and coleslaw. The sauces I chose were the galbi and hot honey mustard as recommended. At first, I wasn't sure which wings were which, meaning they both almost looked the same. But obviously the hot honey mustard was lighter in color versus the galbi. The wings were crispy and excellent, but a tad bit over saucy. I wish I had more crisp on the outside. Maybe I'll ask for sauce on the side next time. Also, the big box of Crinkle Fries were decent, but I thought the coleslaw for some reason was very peppery. I didn't understand why. I guess that's their style of slaw, idk. Overall, I really wanted to love this joint, but I feel that it's just a 3-star kind of place imho. It's the price versus taste versus how hot it was outside. Unfortunately, the place didn't have any a/c on and the tables didn't look as clean as the other older posted pics on yelp. Someday, I'll be back to hopefully upgrade my review, but for now, it is what it is.

We came right before the dinner rush, so seating was available right away for our party of 3. The salad was too spicy for me that my mouth was on fire, but those in my party who can tolerate spice enjoyed it. The curries were on the saltier side, but it definitely had the smokiness from the bbq, giving it more depth which I can see why it works so well with all the Thai flavors. If I were to choose one over the other, I would go with the Massaman Curry because the lamb was super tender and the sauce had so much more flavor than the white curry in my opinion. I can't remember the name of my cocktail, but it was a wonderful tropical and refreshing drink. Portions are a bit on the smaller side for the price point, but definitely worth trying.
