They've clearly changed management/ownership from when I was last there. Menu is now largely changed. They've kept some of the good wings from before but now pivoted to more tapas dishes which are not bad. We enjoyed the Nem Kao and Charred Cabbage that was cooked well and served on a bed of creamy sauce. Definitely more western than what it used to be. The wings were small than what they're before. Firecracker Wings are still our favorite. The Thai Fish Sauce ones were too sweet for me. Need more citrus or savoryness there. Service was decent on a weeknight when the place was empty. Staffs were paying too much attention eventhough we're the only people.

Nahhh... this place is not it. Ever since the original owner sold the restaurant, it just hasn't been the same. The new ownership doesn't seem to have the Asian flavors down, the sauces lacked depth and just didn't taste right. The wings were small, the portions felt reduced, and the menu is now very limited compared to before. Overall, it was pretty disappointing. I wouldn't suggest coming here, especially if you remember how good it used to be. The only positive was the service -- the staff was friendly and nice.

My bf and I came here for lunch. We love chicken wings, and I especially love the Asian-flavored ones, like fish sauce wings. So, of course, I ordered the Fish Sauce Caramel wings, and a couple of other flavors including the Firecracker wings. The wings were tasty. Good flavor. And nice and crispy. Cute place, and great service.

The restaurant is popular for wings, but the wings are disappointing. I ordered chicken wings with two flavors: fish sauce, and Thai chili. The wings are small the flavor it's not Vietnamese fish sauce at all. It is sweet and not flavorful at all. It's a little bit disappointing because I am Vietnamese and I expect the Vietnamese chicken wings better. At least the service is really nice. Parking is pain in the butt tho

Very nice experience and the staff was wonderful. Drinks tasted great. Food came out fast. Would eat here again.

What a great spot to get some great flavours and a twist on bar foods and tapas types of dishes. PARKING: Parking at night was not a huge deal but we did come pretty late. Plenty of space on the streets per usual in Portland. AMBIANCE: There's a bar inside with seats and some tables. They have some cool pictures on the walls on the inside and the atmosphere was very casual. SERVICE: Our waitress was very helpful and answered our questions. We were checked on multiple times. Our waters remained filled and the dishes were brought out piping hot and fresh! FOOD: Tom Kha Cocktail: Wow what an interesting drink! It had some savoury notes but the lemongrass was such a punch of flavour. Mango Sticky Rice Cocktail: Creamy goodness that reminded me of an elevated version of a piña colada. Firecracker Wings: Crispy and fried well. Not dry, and I got the hint of lime leaf and it's got good spice. Otherwise a good wing. Fish Sauce Caramel Wings: The flavour was pretty good. Sweet and salty. HOWEVER. The caramel hardened on the plate and every bite was sticking to my teeth. It was pretty difficult to eat to be honest. Vietnamese Street Corn: What a star. The dried shrimp made the dish sing. So savoury. Sambal Honey Carrots: Another star of a dish. The caramelization on the carrots was so good. Carrots cooked perfectly. Not too soggy and not undercooked. A delicious veggie dish. Smashed Cucumber Salad: This was light and refreshing. Good sesame flavour and creamy dressing. Pork Chicharrones: I mean fried pork rinds. Always good. Remoulade also delicious. Roasted Cauliflower: Another solid veggie dish. Carrot ginger puree was silky and bright. Well roasted and good char on the veggies. Lao's Sausage Roll: Yum. Perfection. No notes. Just delicious. What a great twist on a regular old hot dog. OVERALL: I'd give this a solid 4.5 stars. There are definitely some stars and their veggie forward dishes were probably some of my favourites. Definitely would come back here again.

From the moment we stepped inside, we felt transported to Thailand. Casual but classy. Our server was exceptional. He guided us through the menu & recommended a few favorites. Attentive & a great flair for making cocktails. While enjoying the scrumptious food, the chef came out to chat. There is some serious talent in this place. If you are missing Pok Pok, come here.

A fantastic experience overall. A friend and I had been trying our best to taste as many Weiner Week dishes as possible. After a long day of hunger, we decided to complete the week with Nom Nom. Parking is easy to find in this area most weekdays, but expect some weekend challenges. Walking and cycling make it easy - plus you can indulge more. Upon entering, guests move through a welcoming hallway that keeps the door area hidden from diners, which I love. The space is open once in the dining area, and staff quickly help you get seated. We chose a semi-booth so we could both sit against the wall. The team introduced us to the menu and drinks, and then we were off to make our decisions. I decided on a diet Pepsi and the Wiener. The Pepsi came quickly, and it was so good to enjoy some sugar. The Wiener was so tasty, and I was glad the team decided to use real sausage instead of a hotdog. The flavors of the sauce were so freaking yummy, and they complemented to hot pepper and the fried onions really well. I would have totally consumed two. I will be back when I need some wings, since, I had never been here before. Great vibes, good food, and the separation of tables in the space makes it feel welcoming and private.

Stopped in for a late lunch and very happy we did. Every dish was savoury and delicious. Service was fast and friendly. Food came out nice and hot. Every bite was a new adventure. Loved the location with lots of street parking and very trendy vibes. Would love to come back again.

We tried the Snowcrab Fried Rice, Fish Sauce Caramel Wings, and Fried Potatoes--and wow, everything was delicious! Full of flavor, cooked perfectly, and yes... nomnom indeed! We brought our 9-month-old baby, and even he loved the food. The server was super nice and thoughtful, especially when it came to our baby's needs--something we really appreciated as parents. The vibe is chill, clean, and family-friendly, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a good meal. Bonus: we went on a Wednesday and got 15% off wings! Can't beat that kind of deal. We'll definitely be back!

If I could give 6 stars, I would. My friends and I stopped in for wiener week. Not only is their service friendly and amazing. The food is out of this world. They were so creative in their interpretation for hot dog week, but it was easily the best one out of the 10 I tried. The menu is full of amazing choices. You can't go wrong. I also got the mango sticky rice cocktail which blew my mind. COME HERE!

Went here for dinner our first night in Portland. We enjoyed all the food! It's a good place to have snacks and drinks, but not sure about a full meal. The chicken wings could have been better, but the rest of our food was good. Ambiance was cute! Service was good and attentive.

Nice little unassuming place that once you dig-in just keeps getting better. I was greeted soon after entering allowed to choose my seat. They are quick to serve you but give you your space. I choose the Viet sausage as I remembered from the online pictures and I added the papaya salad after my first dish. I was really wanting a snack to the two orders was more than I wanted but after the sausage dish I had to try their sum tom. The sausage what an amazing dish. The presentation the flavors with the sauce and the lettuce to cool things down. The papaya salad was ok its own version. May have to give it another try in the future. They were talking up the new chef. Some people lingering others coming in everyone enjoying themselves. Stop in before a night to a game or the theater. Many other items on the menu to try it can take you to Asia for a bit.

Seated upstairs so felt bad the waitress had to go up and down many many times. The empanadas were awful. I am being extremely honest. With a sad excuse for chimichurri. That seemed haphazardly put together, again lacking any flavor. Was it an off day based on the amount of people raving? Maybe. But also maybe they aren't aware of the better options in Portland so lack the awareness of true potential in this cuisine. I recommend Lechón if you want real chimichurri and empanadas.

We tried four empanadas (chorizo, pollo spicy, humita, and imposter) along with an order of papas, and that was more than enough for the two of us. Each empanada had a wonderfully flaky, golden crust. The fillings were flavorful and distinct; the only one that didn't quite win us over was the imposter, though that's probably just a matter of taste. The papas were crisp and perfectly seasoned too. Service could have been a touch more attentive, especially given the place wasn't too busy, but overall, it's a lovely new addition to the neighborhood -- cozy, tasty, and full of potential.

Pulled up to Pollo Bravo on Killingsworth and immediately loved the location. Easy, neighborhood energy. The kind of spot that feels like it's about to become "your place." Ordered takeaway -- rotisserie chicken (my preference, always) and the cauliflower. Let's talk chicken. Rotisserie over grilled. I stand by it. Juicy. Well cooked. Light enough to feel healthy, satisfying enough to feel like a proper meal. No dry nonsense. No over-seasoned chaos. Just solid execution. Is it the best chicken I've ever had? No. Is it flirting with the medal dais? Absolutely. Now the cauliflower. Whatever that green sauce was... keep it coming. Bottle it. Franchise it. It elevated the whole situation. I would order that again purely as a sauce delivery vehicle. Service? Quick. Smiling. Efficient. In and out with zero friction. We appreciate professionals. Everything we ordered was gorgeous and whimsical in presentation, but of course that would mean little without the flavors to back it all up, which it had in spades. The Thai steak tartare tostadas were incredibly balanced, with brightness and herbaceous notes from the vegetables, herbs, and sauce, great punch from the Thai spices, richness from the tartare, and a nice snap and slight nuttiness from the tapioca crisps cradling everything underneath. The foie gras dumplings were simply divine. I expected them to be rich and dense, but they were like little pillows, with a savory filling and a perfect balance of smoked leek broth, crispy fried leeks, and a caramelized shallot jam that ended up being the surprise star of the dish for me. Then came the main event, the Duck Stack, which I can only describe as a McGriddle on steroids (in the best possible way!). Somehow it all worked beautifully, with the rich duck gravy, fluffy pancakes drenched in syrup, spiced onions, and a fried duck egg tying everything together in perfect harmony. It was one of those dishes that sounds wild on paper but is totally brilliant on the plate and in your mouth. Really fantastic meal from start to finish, and I'm already excited to come back to try more of the menu (and the happy hour!) on a future visit.
