I finally got around to trying this place, and I was not disappointed. The interior is clean and inviting. The staff were great, the waitress and buser were both very nice and accommodating. I ordered the chili verde, which was very well done. I think the rice and beans stole the show for me, so good. My family members had breakfast, the French toast looked terrific, best I have seen out in the desert. I really enjoyed Jerry's, and plan to be back soon! read more

Horrible service the waitress never came by our table to refill coffee or drinks, completely forgot someone in our groups drink order didn't get it until after the food came out. Burnt the ham steak and hash-browns continuously ignored half the restaurant. They weren't wearing name tags but the waitress had a blue butterfly clip and she was extremely rude. read more

Careful eating here, I got the fried steak and eggs with hash browns. Took a bite of the hash browns and notice something hard in my mouth pulled it out and it was a half of toothpick or some kind of piece of wood in my food! It's the all time best breakfast ever. The staff is great and quick. The food is just amazing. It's one of those places where you can eat breakfast everyday and go about your business feeling satisfied. I keep going because everything on the menu not to mention there weekly deals/ meals of the day. We had a great late morning breakfast here! Our waitress was a short Hispanic gal and she was really hard working and friendly. We asked her what was popular and she suggested we get the Chili Verde Omelette! My husband and I split it and had the home fries with it! It was delicious and plenty of food. Start off by saying, I'm not a picky eater and the sibs and I were starving.... I asked for the country fried steak with eggs sunny side up and biscuits and gravy.... excellent choice. Hit the spot! Gravy was perfect.... sister got bacon egg omelette and she had no complaints. Brother had the jerry skillet and the shredded beef had a great taste... they had cinnamon French toast, I assume it was good because they didn't leave any left... all in all it was a pleasant brunch and will be back. read more

What a little jewel of a place. Located on Main Street in Hesperia, the cafe is clean and inviting. The food is outstanding. We had a 5-egg omelet with homemade Pork Chile Verde and homemade hot sauce - just delicious. Can't wait to try some of their other offerings. This is one of the best restaurants we have eaten. the waitress was polite and service was excellent. The food was prepared like my mom used to do, from scratch. pinto beans are cooked from the pot. If I could give negative stars I would. Went in this morning and tried to have a decent breakfast. Wrong. Little kids being allowed to walk around the restaurant, touching everything. The server was nice enough, although not very attentive. Food was DISGUSTING. Greasy and inedible, the toast was slathered in some oil trying to pass as butter, and yet dry as hell. I choked down a single triangle and couldn't manage anymore. Sent it all back. Get to the counter to pay and JUDITH was the rudest, most inept person there. She charged me 2.99 for a single triangle of toast. I would never recommend going there or their food. Go to Don Garcias or even Del Taco for at least edible food. read more

The service was awful. I had to get our own menus and silverware. I almost got our own drinks but finally our waitress came and took our order. The buster walked right by us with a coffee pot and didn't bother to refill our two cups. Our food took almost an hour, and nothing came out at the same time. My order was incorrect as was my step daughters. The food was not worth the wait. And at $50 for three people in a cafe I can say for sure we will not return. The server didn't seem trained, and I could see they are under staffed. It's to bad because we really used to enjoy going there as a local spot. Really, to bad. read more

Went here for the first time for breakfast. Most meals are about $10 but come in very large portions and worth the price. The food was brought out within 20minutes or ordering. It's a a nice, homey restaurant with clean bathrooms and I'm looking forward to coming back again someday to try their lunch. They close at 3pm. read more
